They're in a small strip mall near the entrance to 110 surrounded by other Filipino businesses. Everything is arranged very neatly with boxes stacked and priced to demonstrate how a box of 15 vs 40 look etc because it's all about the señorita bread. They have all sorts of pastry but every review seems to suggest sticking with what they're known for. So I listened! I paid $12 for 20 little breads, she told me it would take 2 minutes to bake and those things came out HOT. I picked up my very first ever and almost dropped it. Very soft and buttery with a light sweetness. I see why it's appealing to so many but would I travel for it? Probably not. The bread is very cheap here which I love! The seniorita bread was sweet, warm, and delicious. I drove an 1 1/2 hours from the valley. It's not worth the traffic drive but very worth it if I lived around the area or to pick up if there is no traffic lol. Service was quick. I didn't know I needed Senorita Bread in my life before Starbread Bakery, but now I need it weekly.. The perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness and the warmth of the freshly baked bread, everything is perfect. I love to bring it to potlucks or parties, and everyone always loves them. I have been multiple times, but sometimes it is super crowded or sold out or sometimes it's completely empty. One time I went when they were sold out and I was super disappointed, but a staff member told me to wait about 20 minutes so they can bake me a new batch. Super nice of them. The prices for the bread is amazing as well and you can get a whole box for less than 20 bucks. I personally think I can eat 10 pieces in one sitting. It's a must try!! read more

We came here as a recommendation by a friend. They claimed that they could eat a whole box of the señorita bread. We were definitely intrigued. It was our first time here and I was not sure where to start. Our cashier was Marco. He was the nicest person! So friendly and accommodating. He answered all her questions genuinely. We mentioned it was our first time and he offered us a sample of the Señorita bread. We ended up getting two five packs. 5 Señorita breads was $3, which I think it's a really good price. It was really good hot and they have a sweetness to it. If you have any leftover, just put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. I also wanted to try a Malasada. Marco mentioned the Ube was most popular, so I was down. In my opinion, it was OK. I felt Ube flavor was mild, which was a little disappointing. I love Ube, so I wanted to taste as Ube-y as possible! I got a pack of the biscotti for my mom. She loves the store-bought one, so I wanted her to try this one. I will say that it's not as sweet as we are used to, but it was still really good in my opinion. And for only $3.50, it was a pretty good deal! Overall, great experience. The seniorita bread is just okay. It's not super amazing where I'd drive miles to get it. The seniorita bread is soft and pillowy with a sweet buttery crust on the bottom. The inside feels doughy like it's undercooked but it's from the butter sugar mixture. Recommend to eat these when they're warm and fresh! It's too sweet to have more than a few in one sitting. But its great to bring to a gathering! Service at this location was great. They gave me fresh ones straight from the oven! Maybe because I had a large order but still very nice! Starbread originated from the Bay Area, and thankfully, they finally made their way to SoCal! Yaaaayyyyyy! I wouldn't typically drive all the way down here for bread, but I had a business meeting near the area. Plus, they have a closer location in Anaheim. Nevertheless, this gave me an opportunity to satisfy my cravings for Señoritas. They make their Señorita bread hot and fresh off the oven. All the other items on their display aren't made fresh though, such as their MALASADAS, and BITSO. Both I tried too. At first, I ordered 10 Señoritas, thinking it was the same size as a Spanish Bread from Valerios. Thankfully the lady at the counter described it being small in size, so I added 5 more, making it 15. BIG MISTAKE! HUGE MISTAKE! LOL! After tasting it, I should've gotten 50 instead of 15! OMG, these little pillow-soft babies are so deliciously addicting! They come out fresh from the oven hot, delicately soft, with lightly sweet butter cream inside! Geezus it's chronic! By the time I got home, I only managed to grab one tiny piece after the kids, including my 50-yr old, snatched the box from me. They swallowed those things in a glance! The Bitso and Malasadas weren't as good as the Señoritas. I won't be getting those next time and only get Señoritas. Service at this place was pleasant. Also known as Spanish bread, señorita bread is soft, airy, and slightly sweet. It's best eaten fresh out of the oven, and can get a bit sticky. Prices are decent, it's 60 cents each. You can order as little as 5 rolls, or get boxes of 15 to 60 pieces. The batch I got was tasty but could've used a bit more butter and sugar. Some bites were plain. They also offer pre-packaged rolls and cream filled ones with various fillings like Nutella, cream cheese, dulce de leche, and strawberry cream cheese. Besides their popular bread, other bakery items include bitso-bitso, cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, ensaymada, pandesal, and various pastries and desserts. I also bought an ube malasada, or Portuguese fried dough. It was nice to try, but probably not something I'd get from here again. I notice that some of the reviewers here complaining that it was hard when they got it in the evening. I kind of agree to it, even though I bought mine in the morning, I ate some of them only in the night, by that time it did become little hard. So I guess this is something that needs to be eaten sooner after they are baked. Anyway, they did taste good, not too sweet and price is also very decent. Bought few more boxes for our friends and they also liked it. The service is great, the person there was kind enough to give us samples to try as we said it is our first time. We also tried the Guava Malasada and it was pretty good. May be they can also start serving coffee, as I feel the bread would go well with it. My niece brought some malasadas and senoritas at Mother's day and bc everyone ate it, I missed out. So last weekend, we visited Starbread and got some for ourselves. We ordered senoritas, malasadas, even ones that are filled. I love the senoritas, they were moist, buttery and delicious! Especially when warm. We also ordered butter mochi. We asked if they were Hawaiian style and they asked the chef and he said yes. I don't know if I agree that they are like butter mochi I'm used to eating in Hawaii but they were ok. They didn't have the same consistency as the ones I'm used to eating but they were ok. The filled bread were delicious. We got the pineapple and cream cheese ones. I'd go back for the senoritas.
