So I've been coming here for a while when I come to Carson. Never had any issues the bread is always yummy and service always fine. However hadn't been in a minute tried coming in before taking the kids to school and heading to work. The service was so slow and the server was rude. The Senorita Bread is always a hit when I bring it to potlucks. Everyone is always asking where this delicious bread is from and I point them in the direction of Starbread Bakery! But I need to confess something... The amount of senorita bread that I bring to the potluck... Is not the amount that I purchased. I can't resist! As soon as I get the box I always devour two right away... and if it's a long drive... I'll have a little bit more. So the moral of the story... Always get more! Service: Always been friendly. The bakery has never been packed when I've gone. The only thing I wish the bakery would do, and I brought this up with them when I last visited, is offer coffee. Quality of Food: 10-piece Mini Senorita Bread: $6 The mini senorita breads came in a white bag, very warm with steam rising when bitten into. The bread was buttery, almost fall-apart soft due to its lightness. The outer layer was just crispy enough with a touch of sugar on top. Hot Dog Senorita: $3.50 The hot dog was fairly priced and good. I would buy it again. Soda: Just under $2 Cleanliness: The bakery was clean and well-maintained. Heard about this place from a friend and they raved about it so I had to try it! Clean, minimalist and sleek store. They don't over do their case with a ton of items. I tried their Nutella filled senorita bread and it was delicious, finished it before I got to my car we also picked up their box of senorita bread and those too were amazing. Typing this review makes me want some right now. I love the simplicity of the bakery, and the look of the place isn't overwhelming. The bakery is "hella open" from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. I believe. Saw this bakery on tik tok and I wanted to try it. The senorita bread is very addicting and reasonable priced. This is a great dessert to bring to parties for everyone to share. The location they are at is on the corner of Carson Street and Main St. It is a small bakery with limited parking. I would recommend trying to park in the lot and not on the street. I wouldn't be surprised if the store is busy during the holidays or the weekends. The young lady who helped me was very helpful. I love the flipino bread but this place didn't not meet my expectations. I usually go this hole in a wall, mama and pop store in Delano to get my cream cheese bread. I found out about this place on Yelp. I have never even heard of "Señorita" bread, but being a carb enthusiast, it fascinated me. I read a bunch of the reviews and I knew I had to try it for myself. Yep. It tastes exactly how it's described.... "small, oblong rolls slathered with butter, sugar, and breadcrumbs." The first thing I noticed was that this place was clean, which is always important. Secondly, it def wasn't empty... there were people waiting for their bread, which is a good sign that the bread is amazing. Lastly, it comes out fresh and warm straight from the kitchen. You can't get any fresher than that! The employee was super sweet. Excellent service, polite, friendly, and she even told me to be careful because the bread was hot. Now, my thoughts on señorita bread ... it was so pillowy soft... and the flavor was good ... I mean, it's butter and sugar, like how can it not be good? Lol. I'm super excited that Starbread Bakery is now in the South Bay! Awhile back my coworker had brought me from Anaheim; Starbread Bakery's famous señorita bread. The señorita bread was delicious but being a South Bay girl; Anaheim is bit of trek for me. I knew that it would be awhile again before I could try señorita bread again. Thankfully that is no longer the case because Starbread Bakery's newest location is right in Carson, California! The señorita bread is awesome because they are small and almost bite size. They're not too large but just the right size to get that sweet, fresh bread kick! They make their señorita bread here fresh daily but they also have some cold ones if that is what you prefer. They also have some filled señorita bread with different fillings. I personally think the hot and original ones are the best. Aside from señorita bread they've got other delightful baked goods such as cupcakes, bitsu bitsu and malasadas. I tried a dulce de leech bitsu bitsu and it was just ok. I also tried an use malasada and found this one too be quite good! Both señorita bread and malasadas are definitely on my list of faves from this place. I am definitely happy that Starbread Bakery is in the South Bay! read more

I want to start by saying that the señorita bread is truly delicious and definitely the star of the show. I would give it a five out of five but I will take one star off because the second time I went back, the bread was not thoroughly cooked. So, I know the centereor bread is what brings people in and I can definitely see why. When made correctly, it is warm, crunchy outside with soft center, and this delicious sweet butter glaze. But I will say, please enjoy while they are hot because once they become cold they are no longer good... In my opinion at least. I was so optimistic that everything else would be just as good. If I have to pick one other thing, it would be the sugar donut, as it was light and just enough. But that is truly were all of the fun and deliciousness and it for me. The other pastries were not good to me. The donuts were very dry... But the chocolate glaze on top was pretty good but that was overshadowed by the dryness of the bread. I also tried the cookies and I was taken back by the smell and the taste... One out of 10, would not recommend. All in all, I would go back for the Señorita bread but that is about it. read more

Heard of Senoritas? It's a petite version spanish bread that only Starbread knows how to make, lol. This location can be found at a small arcade right next to where Jollibee is. I simply parked at the very end across Jollibee and sort of crossed over to get to Senorita which is not far at all. The place is small but efficient. You can tell it's really clean. Very minimalist type of design. Staff was so patient because i was checking out their other goodies first before we finally purchased our Senoritas. Glad they opened and i am hoping they will bring back fresh pandesal! read more

I'm not sure what the hype is for this. I was excited to try it out, but I was left really disappointed. The pandan and ube squares were hard and dry. Like they were so bad, they should have been given away for free. They also didn't really have any discernible flavor, but that was a theme throughout. I also tried the pandan malasada. The dough part was soft and chewy, and the creme inside had a good consistency. As a filled donut, it was good. However, again, besides being green, I wouldn't have known that the flavor was pandan.
