I got a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was done incredibly poorly, and they randomly painted one of my toes a different color than the rest. It's just a pedicure so I tried to be easy going, as people are not always looking at your toes. But then the manicure. Oh my god, it was awful. It is the only manicure I have ever had which was painful. She kept picking at my skin and caused multiple of my cuticles to bleed. She kept poking at my cuticles after I told her to stop as it was incredibly painful. The manicure itself was lumpy and thick. To top it off, it was way overpriced and the technician was shocked I decided not to tip her. I have to find another place that can fix this botch job because I have a wedding to attend this weekend.

At every step she engaged with me, and she and her husband were so kind. I keep hopping to different salons because it feels so impersonal and disrespectful sometimes. Where you feel like a number or a nuisance just by being there. Not in this salon. All of the customers there were treated with the same respect and kindness.
