The owner did my nails and she was so kind. Did such an amazing job I would definitely go back.

For my whole life I never had nails. But through the special treatment by Nga I now have beautiful nails. I highly recommend Brighton Nails!

Brighton Nails is the reason my natural nails have been able to grow and stay healthy. With the help of Nga, I went from never having my nails grow past my fingers to string and healthy nails. With over hundreds of colors to choose from, Nga and her amazing team have always surpassed my expectations and never disappoint. 10/10 recommend!

I CANNOT say enough good things about Nga and Brighton Nails. I had a panic attack realizing that my engagement pictures are tomorrow and my nails were orange (wanted them a neutral color for pictures) so I called Brighton Nails about 30 mins before closing and Nga was so kind to bring me in. She was so kind, understanding and did an amazing job on my nails. Thank you SO much Nga, I will definitely be back!!

Ahhh! Made an appointment for a pedicure at 615. Its now 7pm and im still waiting.....and hangry. Would anyone like to come share a pizza? :) Not cool! Update: So....they did a really bad job at getting rid of the dead skin on my feet and my foot massage only lasted 18 seconds per foot... Yep i timed it. Sorry Brighton Nails... i will not be coming back...even if you are just a brief 5 minute walk away from home. Also, thank you for hurting my big toe.

Look at my cuticles, two days after my appointment. Super thick and uneven acrylic. Horrible

I called this Salon on a Friday and asked if they had time to do a refill. I was told to come in a 1 which was about an hour from when I called . I showed up at 12:45 and was told I'd have to wait a few mins which I was fine with because 1- it's Friday and 2- I'm early. I didn't get into a chair until 1:40. When I expressed my frustration I was met is rude and unhelpful responses and a nonchalant attitude about making a customer wait 40 minutes for a booked appointment? Could have just said they didn't have time on the phone. I would have happily moved on to one of the other 10 billion salons around the corner. The tech then cut me twice with the Drill (see photos) and two days later I'm noticing tons of chips and uneven acrylic. They also way overcharge. I'll never be back.

Nga has done my nails about three times since I moved to the area and I could not recommend her salon more highly!! She is incredibly welcoming, fast, and always does an AMAZING job!! Everyone who works in the salon is so kind!! Thank you Nga

My grandma made an appointment for me and my little sister to get a gel pedi and and acrylic set, and not only did it take an hour for them to even start on ONE of us, but when it was my grandmas turn, they almost let a walk in go before her (I get that could've been a simple mistake but they made us wait so long that it was just unacceptable at that point). Continuously had to tell the "nail tech" to please not cut my big toe, just file. She kept trying to cut it, not listening to my multiple requests to NOT CUT THE BIG TOES, and I can understand that there's a language barrier, but she didn't seem to even have any experience. I have been doing my own nails for a few months now, and even I was able to see the inexperience. She grabbed a nail drill to remove the old gel from my nails and then dropped it into the water on my feet. She filed my skin more than my actual nail, and then proceeded to scrape the pumice stone on all the areas of my foot that DONT touch the ground (basically anywhere that doesn't callus because it doesn't even touch the ground- like the arch of the foot, and the top of my foot?). No one was listening when I said "ow" or "that hurts", so I asked for someone else to finish them. The new tech came over and she also tried to cut my nails, after I previously asked MULTIPLE times PLEASE DO NOT CUT THEM. While the second "tech" was doing them, the person who seemed to be the manager, and the only one able to communicate back to me in English (I'm simply stating this because it plays a part in the fact that I know she COULD understand me, while the other techs weren't able to because of the language barrier), told the woman to stop, and then she (the manager) started finishing my nails. She finished the gel, it was mostly good but a little messy so I just asked if she could clean it up. She then started filing the edges of my nail, which is a pretty typical thing to do after finishing gel nails. But while she was doing so, the file would slip and scrape the skin by my cuticle, which was already very irritated from the first AND second tech filing my skin. I told her it was hurting me and I was met with invalidation. To tell someone the physical pain they are feeling isn't real is ridiculous. On top of that, her being the one to inflict the pain and then act like she did nothing astonished me. Then I explained what it was that was hurting me, and she denied it multiple times saying "how would I be filing your skin if I'm filing the nail" (ur file is slipping because you're filing too fast with too much pressure, idiot). I told her to just finish so I could leave because at that point I was so tired and fed up. She then started filing again, and slipping and scraping my skin. I pointed it out again and said "you're telling me you're not doing something while I watch you do it, and it really hurts". She started telling me to calm down, granted I started out very calm and just become frustrated with the pain I was feeling, all because no one could listen to my words. Im disappointed because this isn't the first time my grandma has brought us here and the service was terrible. It was years ago though so I had higher hopes and I didn't want to assume, but my experience today was worse than last time there (7 years ago). Two young women were already there when we arrived and they also seemed to have multiple issues with how they were doing things, as well. I'm not sure the managers name, but once I got up from the seat to leave and leaned down to grab my shoes, she put her hand on my back and although it seemed like sympathetic gesture at first, you don't put your hands on someone, especially when you're already having a problem, or when their back is turned to you, because honestly my first reaction was that I need to defend myself. But what made me realize it wasn't sympathy at all, was the things she chose to say after touching me. She continued the argument when I already told her I was done and leaving. She continued to tell me I was being difficult, she hates her job, and telling other customers this as well. If you hate your job so much, then fucking quit, you suck at your job anyways. I'm not forcing you to be here. And it is not my fault you were hurting me. I guarantee she wasn't intending to hurt me, and I even told her I can understand that you're not meaning to hurt me but you are, and it was the not caring that I was in pain that suggests she is inexperienced and unprofessional and that falls solely on her. I highly recommend AVOIDING this establishment. The picture didn't pick up the redness very well, but all along my cuticle area and the outer edge/right side of my toe is noticeable more red than the left side. As you can see there's lifting of my natural nail half way down the nail bed, (to clarify, I'm not sure why there's lifting but this WAS NOT from the awful pedicure, it was already there) hence why I wanted them to NOT cut them, to prevent any more issues.

Worst gel manicure ever. I will never go!

Had a gel Manicure there today...I will never go back. The job was rushed and you can see the end result for yourself

So it has been over a year now, I have tried other nail salons in both Boston and New York And none still compare to the selection and quality this salon has... they are amazing! I will still gladly drive 25 mins to get my nails done! I laid out all the color options they have for powder nails so you guys could see what I mean... it's a blessing and a curse lol because when I'm there it takes me forever to pick because there are so many options loll... Nya and her team are very patient with me .... I have tried other salons both in the area and out of state when I travel and I found the quality of the product they use is completely different. Even the way they remove the powder manicure is completely different.. I went to another place a couple of times when I was away and my nails became paper thin and weak after two powder manicures and that never happens when I get my nails done here! I recommend it to all my friends!! On weekends I would call in advance and make an appointment because they are always busy... I learned my lesson loll.... overall truly still amazing.. I love them and will never go anywhere else!!!! A+++++++

This was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had and my nails hurt. I told them I wanted square and got oval. I was bleeding and they just wiped it with acetone. I want a refund

I am going to the BN over and over again! Amazing service! Will really recommend that place!!

She also recut my nails and cut they way way way too short that they have been hurting for days now. and she redid my polish and than a man starts doing my mani. he wasn't really watching when using the file machine thing, and hurt me a couple times. and then he soaked my nails in alcohol with tin foil wrapped around my fingers. He did this twice, and the second time he definitely left them on for way too long that i almost said something. But most importantly he put so much alcohol in each tinfoil wrapping that it was splashing everywhere. all over my seat, clothes, and all over my hands. i've never had someone put so much alcohol in the tinfoil before and be so careless about it. then the lady (the owner?) did my full dip manicure. she didn't really do a good job. i did a plain pink color. and i didn't ask for extensions or anything. she had to redo 3 nails and kept trying to fix her mistakes but they ended up with a very splotchy top coat. Then after being there from 11:15-2:15 for a mani pedi, they charged me $95, i didn't know how much they charged tbh and i needed to go. but then after i paid, the guy said its actually $85, he had to refund me and i had to repay. so overall it was bad for a basic mani pedi situation, i wouldn't go back or recommend at all. update: it's been 4 days since i got my nails done and 3 of nails have already chipped...

He brought over a case for me to pick and I picked one I really liked, and he told me he couldn't do it, and if i wanted it he can get someone to do it for me. I said that was fine. 2 mins later after he kept looking at the design he tells me it'll actually be 7 dollars for that design...why? I didn't ask but i figured he didn't want to do it. He attempted to do it and could not do it. He brought over a girl to do it, and she says in vietnamese to him "you should have just told her, that her nail was too small to do that design." and he says "I tried but it didn't work"...umm no you didn't... She managed to do the design...it looked nothing like that sample but I didn't want to make a fuss.. Overall I enjoyed everything up until the design part. Don't have samples if you can't do them.... He also ended up charging me 6 dollars for the design not 7...So overall 42 for mani/pedi with a design on my index fingers...I've gotten better manicures with better designs for less. But like others said the place is very nicely decorated and the handtowels are a plus.

You don't want to be the person mowed over when you need them, so I would avoid. I have dealt with this salon many times over the years. Usually, something happens and I take a break from them for a few years until they have a staff change. This go around, I had four progressively worse gel manis in a row. Unfortunately, the manicurists here don't have enough time to care about your natural nails. I don't know if the owner isn't allocating enough time for the service or they are letting other clients run late but the staff here always seem like they are rushing, especially with gel removals. That means they end up hacking away at your natural nails, which leaves them in progressively worse shape. After my last mani, my thumb nail ripped hours later when I reached into my pocket for dog poop baggies. There is also evidence of polish pooling at the cuticles with the nails grown out. It wasn't the best mani by a long shot and I'm sure the manicurist likely knew that. Ahead of a trip to the Berkshires, I booked a gel removal only for today. Appeared for my appointment 5 minutes early. The receptionist literally said that since I was just booked for removal, I could have a seat. I sat there for 20 minutes. During this time, some hyenas getting complicated nail art were harassing me for no good reason. I said nothing to them, but they were making appearance-related comments and laughing. In the past when running behind, the receptionist has called and texted to ask if it's okay to push my appointment back, but not today - I guess because it was "just" a removal. I'm currently the primary caregiver for an elderly relative who was with a paid caregiver during this time. I wasn't going to sit around all afternoon waiting for "just" a removal and also didn't want to continue having to listen to the hyenas. The receptionist had left her desk after checking me in and hadn't returned. No updates from anyone on staff. I walked out of the salon...and am left with a mess on my nails for a weekend at Tanglewood. Different people are of course treated differently. I watched a white family come into this salon once with the daughter having booked everyone at the wrong location. There were three of them and a packed salon but they still found a way to accommodate them on time. I've also seen whites come in for removals only and get served on time. And the logic of prioritizing high cost services doesn't math if you've been a loyal customer - having dropped hundreds over multiple visits - and you need the not-so-great work of one of this salon's manicurists off your nails. It's still "just" a removal??? All of the manicurists at this location have their pluses and minuses. Siobhan was wonderful when she worked here but no longer does. Francesca is the only person I would trust here these days but she's careful, which means that she's usually running behind. Also, her cuticle work isn't the best - they sometimes look a little more ragged after she works on them. Didn't have a good experience with Q. She really hacked up my nails doing a gel removal and she applied a subsequent gel polish too thick. Note about comments from the "manager": Thank you so much for reaching out directly to apologize for the poor service. (Wait--my mistake. That must've slipped your mind.) While we're celebrating great communication, you may have also overlooked the part where your receptionist wasn't at her desk. Small detail, I know. Just to clarify: I call out what I experience, which I'm fully entitled to do. You're certainly welcome to say everyone is treated well--when the appointment actually starts on time and the service runs as scheduled, like it did for the clients who walked in after me. And as for your records, they may want to double-check themselves--unless "waiting for someone to vacate the chair" now counts as part of the treatment time.

I understand that not all salons service kids, which is completely fine--but if a location offers the service, I expect the experience to be thoughtful and age-appropriate. That wasn't the case here. My niece is 9 and was well-behaved, quietly watching videos on her phone or talking to me. Her service felt extremely rushed. The intention was for us to enjoy the experience together, but we were separated. It felt like they simply soaked her feet and painted her toes--no real care or attention. When it came to her manicure, they didn't trim her nails and barely filed them before painting. As for my services, for the gel pedicure my massage chair was broken and the water was cold, which was frustrating. My gel manicure also felt rushed--minimal cuticle care and overall just a push to get me out quickly. What made this more disappointing was that there were only two other customers in the salon and several employees present, many of whom seemed more focused on doing their own nails than servicing clients. I did not return and would not recommend this location. Also worth noting: parking in the area isn't great. Expect to find street parking one or two streets over.
