First, you could try by not going behind a patient's back and mailing their prescriptions without…read moreeven consulting the patient . When we agreed to have my prescriptions filled there, I specifically asked if it was going to be courier and they said yes not a problem only because somebody by the name of Tyler, (supposedly the pharmacy manager). I don't know how you get off by talking so rudely to a patient. I could see if you own the place, but you don't.! Supposedly our phone calls are recorded. I highly suggest someone listen to the phone call.. Not to mention that the call was sent to a different extension twice! You should've just told me to send it to CVS bs filling . Now it's too late for them to order it .

As an American that can say I understand why we need universal health care, I was so excited to…read morefind out about this pharmacy. I do not have any prescription coverage under my insurance plan, so often medicine that I take on a daily basis can cost between $50-$155 a month. Imagine my surprise when I called to find out how much one of my daily doses cost there and was told $40 (normally I pay $155)! How do they do this I asked! Well it turns out that Fenway Pharmacy is a non-profit organization, funded with grants, government money, and private donors. So not only is medicine affordable again, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! So if you are like millions of Americans (including myself) struggling with the cost of health care these days, may this pharmacy make your efforts that much easier!

I recently switched all my medications over to CVS, given CVS is much more prevalent on the East…read moreCoast compared to Walgreens. Also, my drug plan made CVS a preferred pharmacy, so it was worth the cost savings. The pharmacy here is located inside of Boston Children's. It's located on the second floor near the gift shop. The location is NOT a full-service CBS. It is mainly a full-service pharmacy with a small selection of common OTC products. They are open later than most locations, given the demand and the fact that there is an ER right downstairs. My only complaint is I wish it was 24-hours. The ER ALWAYS discharges you in the middle of the night with no way to fill medicine. I'd love to see them go 24-hours or install a self-service kiosk that stocks common medicines. It would be helpful beyond belief! The pharmacists here are all highly skilled, professional, and dedicated to their job. They know the stakes are a bit higher given it is serving a Children's Hospital. They know the needs of their clientele are more unique than your typical pharmacy. I've had physicians special order medication's by brand. Most pharmacies make it difficult. Here, they're happy to order in whatever is needed if they can source it. They had my special order medicine in stock the next morning. The pharmacists truly know their stuff and will bend over backwards for their patients. I had to have an emergency surgical procedure in the emergency room late at night. My doctor ordered pain medicine. They were out of the desired medication. The pharmacy team took the time to work with my doctor to find a suitable alternative so I would not be stuck in pain. They truly take the time to ensure you are taken care of. I have yet to visit any other pharmacy that runs so smoothly and with such a high level of care for their patients.

It's nice that they have long hours and don't close for lunch like the other locations. But to…read moredrive two hours just to pick up meds and be told that the person who took the call didn't put in the order is a huge problem. For compounded medications they only make a couple times a day. I was told to wait for 5-6 hours for it to be ready!! If there was another location that made compounds I wouldn't go here
