Went ahead and gave them a call to ask if they had a medication because another pharmacy informed me they did. They didn't answer the phone for over 2 hours. Drove from South Boston to Brookline to go to the pharmacy because I need this medication. Just to go into the pharmacy for them to tell me they didn't have it. As a Walgreens customer I don't appreciate their level customer service because they didn't even try to go ahead and make sure themselves that that medication was at the places that they handle me on a sheet or offer to order it but yet dismissed my questions and didn't even mine to help at all.

Normal CVS. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Not sure why overall rating is relatively low.

This is the best Korean store for skincare/makeup (and anything else you can imagine) in Boston! I…read morewent to another Korean beauty store down the road right before going to Tao's, to find out Tao's prices are unbeatable compared to their competitor. I will 100% be back next time I'm in the city!

I was intrigued by this beauty supply store and made the trek to Chinatown on a Saturday afternoon…read morejust to check out what Tao's had. The store is well stocked with a variety of Asian (mostly Chinese but also Japanese and Korean) beauty products and supplies/stationary along with some snacks. It gets easily crowded in the shop so be prepared to dodge other customers eyeing the makeup section. The unfortunate thing about this store is that some of the price labels are not placed properly or placed at all-- it kept me guessing at what the prices of some of the products were. I could've asked the employees, but who wants to ask the staff every time they want to know how much a product costs? Just a fair warning that you really SHOULD however get the proper pricing of these products prior to purchasing because some of these makeup/beauty products must be imported and therefore MUCH more expensive than if you would purchase them from an online supplier. My total came out to nearly $50 (yes, you read that right. 50 bucks) and all I bought were 4 products: an eyeliner, hand sanitizer, hand cream and dispoable razors. You can't even return these products because RETURNS ARE NOT ALLOWED. I'm sad I even joined the rewards program because I was charged 5 bucks for the keychain tag thing they give rewards members. The employee DID tell me this prior to me joining, but I didn't hear her properly because I was shocked at the additional charge when I did receive my receipt. I even saw that they were selling a limited edition Asian Starbucks tumbler for a whopping $64. I'm giving 2 stars for the fact that there are some great variety of Asian beauty supplies (some reasonably priced, others not so much) offered at Tao's as well as for the very friendly employees who came by to ask if I needed anything several times.

I've been going to Bridget for over 2 years now. She is always friendly and professional and she…read moretruly knows skin. Honestly, I just lie down on the comfy chair and let her go to town. I've done red light therapy (love that!), some light chemical peels (they work and she can control if you get flaky skin or not) and some IPL too. (I don't know what that is but it zaps you and leaves you with really soft, glowing skin). Her Hylunia skin products are great too. I started using them, then we used them on my son for dry skin and I've even got my husband dabbing some on now too. The prices are reasonable and Bridget is a true pro. She gets referrals all the time from local hospitals. She's that good.

I was late a few times due to my unfamiliarity with the area. Not only did she try to make me feel…read morebadly for being late - which I certainly am responsible for, but isn't it better customer service to give someone a break - she actually made a big deal about her precious time instead of just charging me for a late appointment and being done with it. And this happened multiple times, even though I apologized for being late, and it didn't seem to conflict with anyone else's appointment. I left one too many times feeling that she acts like she knows what she's doing but may not be as good as she believes. She repeatedly, over multiple visits, objected that I couldn't have experienced some of the things I told her that I did, with respect to how laser and electrolysis worked on me. If someone experienced something, even if it violates the laws of the physics, ya still have to acknowledge that that person felt or experienced something, even if it was a hallucination or something. Her know-it-all attitude that isn't open to adjusting her opinion in the face of different information became irritating to the point that I couldn't spend more than the thousand or so dollars I had already spent there. I stopped going and decided to only get laser when I traveled to other cities, as many of the places in Boston are way too expensive. For comparison, my favorite place in the world does a 20 minute area for about $20 and it barely feels like anything is happening, though I noticed the results. Bridget does the same area, with much older more painful equipment for $250 and it takes an hour. It would cause my skin to be severely irritated, to the point of looking burned. Yes, sometimes laser is painful, but there are techniques to get it done efficiently, and you would think she would have learned these techniques, but perhaps she doesn't do it enough for her to have picked up the techniques. Yes, her equipment is aging, but she clings onto it because it costs "so much money," and she cares more about all of the money she's had to invest than the pain and suffering of her clients. She originally assured me she would use cooling for the laser work, and then went ahead and did it the same old way she must have always done, with no air cooling. It made me suspect that she only agreed with me to get me to try her service. I wish I had tried some other places, but I figured the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. Anyways, it was expensive, but it did the job for the most part. Also, I have to put two of the other reviews in perspective. For one thing, hair growing back in two days is not totally unheard of, even for a treatment that works. On the other hand, I too am from LA and Bridget does not impress me as being as good as the better electrolysis/laser practitioners in LA. I know that not everyone in Boston has an attitude, but she often did, and life's too short to keep giving hundreds of dollars a visit to someone who seems to reguard one with contempt. I don't know what that was about, but I had enough. I hesitated to write this review for a long time, because I don't know the other places in Boston, but if she's the best and the others are worse, Boston is really in trouble. I'll have to give another a try.

Excellent treatment and care. My work went exactly has described and no surprises in payments…read more Really like that is easy to talk to a secretary or a nurse on the phone if there are questions. Thanks!

Very sketchy doctor and staff!…read more If you read the reviews, there is a general consensus. The front desk staff (it's one lady) is absolutely terrible. She is unfriendly, not helpful, and rather cause probable than fix them. First of all, right before I had my surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed, Dr. Orden didn't know which side of my mouth he was removing my wisdom teeth from when I asked him which is extremely concerning for 5 minutes before a surgery. Also, Dr Orden is not a friendly guy, I haven't met many doctors that would scold you for asking questions. Now to the sketchy part. I have called over 30 times to get details from them for insurance reasons. The lady at the front desk is about 60 years old and very delusional. She will answer the phone when I call and than beat around the bush when asked about information for insurance reasons. It always ends with "I'll call you back" which leads to me never hearing back from them, and then I will call again without an answer. Next step I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. There are so many good dental surgeons in Boston, do not waste your time dealing with this team of nut jobs.
