But upon pulling up, I noticed the prices posted on top of the tank - $3.75 for cash; for credit cards $3.81. Unfortunately I was not carrying any bills on me that night, so credit card it was. I would have preferred that they marked the large price sign with a "cash" addendum somehow, but I still got out for 4 cents less per gallon, so there goes it... (My #500 review?) *** 8/2013 *** They still aren't advertising the credit/debit price on the big sign, but with cash at $3.559 and credit/debit at $3.659 vs my regular station at $3.709, I stopped for a fill up. Odd though that I had to go in to the cashier to retrieve a receipt after paying with my charge card earning 5% (temporarily) at the pump.

Since then the smell like something was burning is gone & the previous garage had been unable to fix that. I like the service at Newton Gulf. Once he fixed that, another employee, Mike, immediately performed the state inspection. They did everything they could without overcharging me and I was expecting to have to wait there for an hour or so but they worked fast! I told him that not only did I not see "full service" sign anywhere in the station, there are four pumps in total so there is gotta be one in which customers can just help themselves. He insisted that all four has pumps are full service only, and blocked my credit card repeatedly when I tried to insert it into one of the stations. In the end, I decided to leave and go to another station nearby instead. I'm not sure if this is a station specific policy or if this specific individual just wants to get tipped, but the experience was honestly bizarre. Forcing the full service during the time of covid when the entire station is empty is quite absurd. I understand there are full service stations in the state of New Jersey and maybe in the town of Weymouth, but this is Watertown in MA. I've never had someone forcing the full service in the years I've lived in MA. It was honestly one of the most ridiculous experience I have had at a gas station period. And I do not recommend anyone who does not want others touching their car to go to this location.
