Nice to hear that mechanic shops help each other by recommending each other who do a good job at a reasonable price. Can't say that often, especially down here in Florida. Keep it up Clayton and crew (Lissette).

I went to Jiffy Lube on Saturday for a simple oil change and tire rotation, in the process, they…read moreended up breaking off three studs from my back right tire and told me to go to Tire Kingdom to fix it. Tire Kingdom looked at it and said they don't want to touch it and there's nothing they can do to fix it as it's Jiffy Lube's responsibility. So now I'm sitting here with a car that is not operable and both shops don't know how to fix it, however, both said I should go to Japanese Auto Care to get it fixed. I came to Japanese Auto Care early Monday morning, fully expecting them to tell me to take it to a Mazda dealership or that they would be too busy to take me. To my pleasant surprise, that was not the case at all. Jimmy immediately said he would be able to get it taken care of and get me up and running same day. Jimmy called around to make sure that someone was able to provide the studs that were specific to my car, and kept me updated along the way. More importantly, while I sat there waiting for my car to be done (in a very clean and comfortable waiting room might I add), lots and lots of people filtered in and out, either picking up or dropping off, speaking to Jimmy as if they were family, considering they have been coming here for so long. Jimmy answered every single phone call that came through no matter how busy he was, and had such a kind and professional demeanor with each individual person he spoke to. Within a few hours I was finally headed home, thanks to Jimmy and team. They were able to do what other "popular" and corporate auto body shops couldn't. I know one thing that I have struggled with for the 11 years I've had my car, is finding a trustworthy, dependable mechanic, and I think I have finally found the one.

The estimate was beyond fair and the owner was thoughtful and kind. My mother had just passed, so my ability to find time to bring my car in was limited. When he was finished, he recommended an additional service that wasn't needed imminently, but one to keep in mind for the not-so-distant future given the mileage on my car. This will now be my go-to mechanic to help keep my old jalopy up and running.

Warning: Do Not Trust This Repair Shop!…read more Yesterday, our 2009 Toyota Camry would not start and several warning lights were on. We brought the car in for inspection and repair. The shop told us that the alternator and fan belt needed to be replaced. They also said the battery was still at 65% and was fine (just needed charging or not replaced). We agreed to replace only the alternator and fan belt for now, and they charged us $1,400. Today we picked up the car -- and the warning lights were STILL on. We immediately drove it back and asked them to check it again. This time, they told us another part needed to be replaced and it would cost another $1,400. We decided not to move forward with more repairs at this time. Then they told us the battery was dead and had to jump-start the car for us to drive away -- even though yesterday they said the battery was fine. This whole experience feels dishonest and unprofessional. We paid $1,400 and the original problem was not even fixed. Now they are asking for another $1,400 and suddenly the battery is "dead." This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this repair shop.

The tires needed to be ordered so he gave a deposit before he flew home. AJ their Assistant Service Writer called me the next day when the tires were in. Since we were all visiting for the holidays we actually made an appointment to put the tires on a few days later. When we arrived I checked in with AJ. I decided to wait bc I had my mom with me and it would be less running around. While waiting, I also spoke with Patrick their General Manager, and Tony their Manager. All 3 were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions, and explained everything. I had my elderly mom with me and these guys had a lot of patience. What I really loved about Apex is besides selling tires, they take pictures of what's wrong with your vehicle and add it to your online profile account so you can see up close and personal what's wrong and the parts they replaced. This place seems to be very honest and truthful which is rare. They will also give you an estimate. You can go online to see all work done. I highly recommend making an appointment. This place gets very busy. They have two buildings. One in the front of the driveway, and one towards the back. The actual entrance is in the front building. They have a small waiting area. My mom's tires were put on and the tires were rebalanced. They can work on all types of vehicles. Their prices were competitive. I would definitely use Apex again
