I had extra parts I brought just in case more needed to be done. He was honest and said I. Didn't need them done and havee parts back and mentioned I needs an oil change but the light was not reset. While they were placing my vehicle on the rack, they noticed that my high-pressure line was leaking. Since then I have purchased the part and will return on the 3rd to have it installed. Poor Ryan installed alternator in my Nissan three times in a year, totally due to faulty aftermarket parts and charged me not one cent for the second two installs - a FIVE HOUR job for this particular model. (If you have a 2005 or 2006 Nissan, research and find out that you don't want an alternator other than from Nissan). You won't be sorry you went to this shop. read more

The name rings true. I brought my car to have it looked at because it was running a lot rougher than usual. He test drove my car TWICE and showed me proof that there was nothing wrong and explained to me that it could just be bad gas that I have to drive out. I also asked him to look at my brakes to make sure they're okay bc they squeak (the last person used cheap box brakes) he said they're absolutely fine and to change them now would be a waste of money. After a great first experience, I took my vehicle back for an issue that had been happening for a long time that *several* other mechanics could not diagnose. We have been using An Honest Auto Repair for several years and we always get great service. We like going to him, because we trust their opinion. Also we like that we are able to take the car in and not have to be worried about being upsold on things that are not necessarily items that we need. So far I have only had good experiences. In one case they were trying to solve a problem for me regarding a clicking sound and they replaced a part and when it didn't solve the problem they left the part on the car and did not charge me for the part or the labor.
