Brought my truck here for a rear differential leak repair on 1/15/2026. Found the differential still leaking on 1/17/2026. Came back to the shop on 1/19/26, mechanic (Rich) told me he would call me later that day. When he called me, he told me he wanted $160 more to repair the leak. Decided to go to another shop, and found out that not only did Rich not install the seal correctly, he damaged the pinion yolk (hammered it) which is why he asked for the additional $160 to replace it. It will now cost me 5 times what he charged me to repair the damage he caused plus the original leak. If you come here and expensive mistakes are made by the owner, he will NOT make it right. read more

I went here last November (2020) for an oil change with a Groupon. I am not sure what the guys name was, but inside the waiting area he did not wear a mask, which was the law at the time. Anyway, I was getting alerts for my tire pressure and it turned out there was a nail in my tire. Pressure wasn't low or anything. The oil change came with a tire rotation which my car did not need so he swapped the plug for the rotation instead, which was very nice. However he put the PSI of my tires at 45. I asked him about this and he said "all of these types of cars need this PSI". According to the interwebs the PSI for my tires should be 34. I did tell him I was going on a trip to Orlando so I thought maybe he knew something I didn't. My husband was mad when he found out lol. For months I kept getting the alert on my car about my tire pressure and it drove me insane until my husband let some air out. That could have been dangerous to my car. (My husband was a mechanic, so he knows what he's talking about.) Also on the sticker he put on the car for the next change it says "5/21" and 65K miles. We are in Feb now (this was at the time of my original review, which I will address later). And my miles were at 61K at the time. 6 months is a long time to go without an oil change, especially not synthetic. So I won't go back. It's a shame, because he seemed like a nice guy and seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He gave me a nice write up with all the things he would do next time, and the prices seemed fair. I appreciated the swap of the plug for the rotation. I'm not sure what happened otherwise, but I won't be back. Also wanted to add that the reviewer named "Alexandria" harassed me with a rude "compliment" and then had my original review taken down. Also "Daniel G" left a review within the hour, even though they have never left any reviews for anyone else. Obv, same person. So that is why I am re-adding my review. It's just Yelp guys. Calm down. Let people leave their honest review and provide better service next time. Or better yet, contact the customer directly and talk to them about their experience and see how you can make it right, instead of harassing them 9 months after the original review. read more

Short version: These people are FANTASTIC! Long version: There's a reason these people have the reviews they do. Let me explain. First of all, you should know that I don't let anyone touch any of my vehicles. Frankly, normally, it's just too much of a hassle to undo the damage that they do and listen to all the nonsense that they spew. They usually try to sell you with fear to get work that you don't need. I went to Fountain knowing what the car needed. Rich was able to tell me what he would do and he knew exactly what he was talking about, 100%. Then, I sprung a little "extra" something that the vehicle had an oil leak. He, again, knew exactly what was going on took care of it. But here the best part, he doesn't over-charge. I don't mean he is "cheap"... I mean he does really high quality work for a fair and honest price - and he gets it done in a timely fashion while still explaining what is going on. Honestly, until now I would hate the thought of bringing any of my vehicles to anyone... but now... if there's work that I don't have the time to do - Fountain is getting the work. I requested a service and was asked my expectations, I let him know what I needed done. He then begun to lie to claim that he can not finish a 4-5 hour job in a day. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I brought my car in to get checked because the check engine light was on. All I wanted was what to figure out what the problem was so I could fix it. Man says it's going to cost 500$ to fix everything. That's more than I had at the moment and decided I'd have to take my car somewhere else to get serviced. Well, He didn't like that and charges me 75$ to take my car off the lot saying he hooked it up to some computer and that's how much it costs. NO WORK WAS DONE TO THE CAR!! Also, has the audacity to advertise his shop by adding a license plate cover??? Please Don't bring ur car here. I called to simply have some bushings pressed in, the mechanic gave me a whole BS answer about not being able to do it because of liability reasons, as an automotive technician, I know that's BS, he stated that I would have to bring the car in and have them pull it apart and supply the parts, to me it sound like they want to make more money off it, I already have the lower control arms off the car cause I bought them online, which I told him, all they have to do is press in new bushings which takes less than 20 mins. He had an attitude and tried to rush me off the phone, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I called 3 other shops and they said they can get it done no problem. read more

Hard to find a mechanic you can actually get a good vibe off of. Rich is great, did my 60,000 mike service before my move back to Jersey. Told me if any other mechanic told me I needed something done to my car they were lying and to call him LOL. Safe to say if I ever do move back down here he'll be my go to. Happy to say that we finally found a mechanic that we can trust. The owner is very hands on, knows his stuff, and will even let you know how where you can save money (instead of insisting that EVERYTHING needs fixed TODAY like the other guys do!). Fountain's prices are reasonable and they do their best to get same day appointments in emergency situations. They are a busy place, so it's not guaranteed, but I'd say a busy place is busy for a reason and worth waiting for an appt. I'm a happy customer here & wouldn't have any problem recommending this auto shop, which I don't think I've ever said about a mechanic. lol. read more
