We love coming to this location for the convenience of being the closest to us. Food is typically always good and fresh popcorn . Like the convenience of selecting and purchasing tickets in advance online. Bar and seat service of full menu is a pleasure and enjoy. This visit chairs comfy, reclining and relaxing with large cup holders. However l, sound bleeding through from two other sides made it distracting and at times difficult to hear our movie. Also service got a little dicey when asking for refills and a different server came and was loud and distracting during the middle of the movie, not trying to be discreet or keep volume down with us as well as with other patrons around us. Unfortunately for the price of movie tickets we will likely go bank to Star cinema in College Station or a recently remodeled nearby other cinema. read more

So now I don't have the ability to choose my level of tip based off of the level of service I received. The job is about equivalent to a car hop at Sonic as well. This was my first time to come here. It was a breeze getting tickets and finding my seat. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The theater was nice, the reclining seat was very comfortable. When I ordered food (cheesecake and southwestern egg rolls), it came right to my seat pretty quickly and was quite tasty! Good time at the movies! Nachos were okay. Soggy by the end. A fork and more than one napkin would have been helpful. (I didn't turn my light on to request more. That's on me!). The pizza was great! I love when we get to go to the movies here! Instead of standing outside in line to get a ticket, you make your way inside. There you are able to choose any seat in the theater! For only $2.00 more, you are able to choose reclining chairs. My husband is 6'6" and fits extremely comfortable in the seats! I am 5'10" and it felt like 2 of me would fit in one chair! It was so nice to recline and enjoy the movie. After getting seated, all you have to do is push a button and a waiter is there to help with anything you need. This establishment offers a full menu with appetizers, plated options, and deserts. There is also a kids menu. We have enjoyed the nachos, chicken wrap, and the popcorn. The main attraction for me is the fact that you are able to order drinks while you watch and enjoy your movie. There is a full bar with options such as beer, martinis, mixed drinks, wine, and shots. There is a "bucket of beer" option which seems to get you the most for your money. If you want to enjoy a movie and knock out lunch/dinner at the same time, this is the place for you! Great if you dont like crowded/busy theaters like me. I went to see the Renaissance Film by Beyonce on opening night and there was 3 people in the entire theater. The only downside (and it was pretty big) was that the waitress never came to me in the theater. There were two of us in the theater prior to the movie starting and I saw her take the other guest's order and leave. I thought it was because she didnt see me, however 15 mins into the film another guest arrived and sat in the row right in front of where I was sitting. The waitress came back and took their order but again skipper right over me again. I took it as a sign as maybe I didn't need to purchase any refreshments from there and wait to get food after I left. I'd return here so I wouldn't have to go all the way to the Woodlands or Houston, but it definitely was an off-putting experience to say the least. read more

We used to love coming here to have dinner and a movie but our last visit was a huge disappointment. We went to see the Taylor Swift concert and we reserved our seats ahead of time. First, the footrest on my chair was broken. Then for dinner; my husband ordered the flatbread and I ordered my usual, the hamburger. Well my husbands meal came out and I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally 40 minutes later my burger arrived. It was cold and looked, felt and tasted like a hockey puck - no kidding! $20 for an inedible hockey puck. Also ordered a few other things we never got. I like the concept of food service at the theater seats, but there is one thing here that makes me reluctant to return. It is the popcorn. It isn't hot, or fresh, and the seasonings that come with it are extremely salty. As a matter of fact, even if you ask for the salt on the side, your popcorn will still come with some kind of seasoning on it, and I really don't think it's tasty. I get better popcorn out of the microwave at home. I guess maybe I am too old school. Not being able to get some decent popcorn at the theater is kind of a deal breaker for me. It doesn't help that there is the former popcorn machine remnant right there on the bar when you walk in, now simply a decoration at the alcohol station. Tease! Second, for the price of the food, the quality should be much higher. Our order contained NONE of the sauces or gravies it was supposed to, the "fried dill pickle spears" are actually razor thin chip slices of the most flavor deprived pickles I've ever had, with so much batter that they're unpleasant to chew. The Southwest eggrolls were over fried, which was made worse by the fact they didn't have any ranch to be dipped in, and the chicken tenders were well overdone and dripping in what tasted like old oil. This place is awesome. I stumbled into it by accident, trying to find a decent place to watch a movie. When I walked in I was in awe. It is so clean and the employees are so nice. I was amazed how brand new it looked and how clean the restrooms are. There is an option to buy upgrade recliner seats or just the regular theater seats. I chose the regular seats and they are comfortable. You may order food or drinks while seated and there is a small table to eat. If you're a little more of a bar person, there is a bar while you wait for your movie. The lobby contained the bar and TVs to watch while you wait. read more

After 45 minutes some of the food had arrived. Salad was delivered without dressing (which we promptly asked for) and the burger had not arrived yet. After waiting 15 more minutes with no dressing, no burger we pressed button for service. We asked multiple other waiters near us in hopes to bring a side of dressing at least in meantime. We then requested manager, after we still couldn't get anyone to help us and burger still hadn't come. Manager (Eric) said burger was next in-line and would have someone bring salad dressing as well. I speak with a different manager this time (Bryan/or Ryan?) more helpful than Eric and he apologized for the issue saying the bacon will be served. So here we go.. back to my seat and the burger is already cold so we ask for another burger and they can just put the bacon on it and be done with it. Then salad dressing FINALLY comes, then the revised burger hallelujah WITH bacon!! So after asking 6 different people on wait staff, 2 managers, and getting out of my seat to miss part of the movie -we FINALLY have all the food and begin to eat.. when the manager "Eric" comes to address bill (during the movie again) to let us know he's comped burger but we'll need to cover the rest. I feel like this experience completely ruined our movie/dining night out! Just trying to get BASIC service and food was such a chore and I felt like they could have at least comped our meal after the hassle and interruption of our evening, it was insane!! We were clearly upset with all this and then manager Eric's manner of dealing with the situation just fueled the issue. Not taking any accountability for the back/forth in completely interrupting the movie, our meal, and the time taken just to get BASIC service. After Eric could see we weren't pleased with outcome he said he'd speak with us after show. When we asked to speak with Eric's manager, we walked out of theater where the GM (Jason Burris) had an officer waiting????!! How completely unnecessary and strange.. all this right in front of my 12 yr old daughter. So absurd!! Is there a lot of crime here that they can't talk to a Mom with her child without a cop? I felt bullied to be quite honest.. I cannot believe that that's how they dealt with a customer complaint?! Please be better Star Cinema.. namely General Manager Jason Burris & Mgr.
