Great atmosphere and lots of variety. Sad for the community that it won't be continuing!

A big shoutout to Chase who helped guide us through our adventure he was friendly, enthusiastic, and made the experience even better. His energy really set the tone for a great time, and he gave just the right hints to keep us on track without giving anything away. We can't wait to come back again for another room! If you're looking for a fun, immersive experience with great staff, Escape In Time is the place to go.

It's in Spring, Texas which is in the Houston area near Woodland Hills. My husband and I were excited to test it out, and while we usually attempt escape rooms with at least four people, we tried this one with just two. I'm happy to say we escaped with ten minutes to spare, with a little help from our Game Master, Watson. The room has several kinds of puzzles to solve, including Sherlock's favorite--a cypher. As a Sherlock fan, the escape room was a blast, and I would highly recommend it, if you're in the area. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner/designer Dave Garrison and he's a fun character, as well, and so clever with his designs. He gave us a sneak peek of his Harry Potter room, which is never level and very immersive! I'd definitely return to try it out!

But with mom out of town for the weekend, I was looking for stuff to do with my son, and it actually seemed like a pretty solid option. He's 6 years old and plays (kid-friendly) Squid Games worlds on Roblox. It's one of his favorite things to do, actually. So when I saw that they had a Squid Games thing here, I was pretty intrigued. It was noted to be 12+ though, so I opted to not book in advance and just ask the people working here when I arrived, if it would be appropriate for him. They all universally said that it would probably be too challenging for a 6 year old. So we booked Paw Patrol instead. Walking in on a Saturday meant that we had an hour wait, which was no problem because we had plenty to do at the mall in the meantime. He absolutely loved it. He hasn't stopped talking about it in the 24 hours since we finished. It was definitely easy enough for him to figure out how to play, other than the 2nd to last game where you were supposed to herd ducks and fish into their body of water. Even I struggled with that game. But the rest of it was very manageable. It's not the cheapest way to spend an afternoon, but we will definitely be back to do this again in the future.

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

SO MUCH FUN!!! The…read moredifficulty level varies. They have games specifically designed for kids, and then there's "regular mode." With titles like Batman, Scooby Doo, pirates, and more, it's easy to find a theme that appeals to you. You have to come with some aptitude (and maybe a little knowledge of the genre) and go in with a (hopefully) cohesive group of people. It's challenging enough to really make you work your noggin to solve riddles and piece together puzzles. You'll have to cooperate with your teammates but work quickly to beat the clock... The experience delivers excitement without turning up the anxiety too much. Hands-on and very immersive! The rooms have some pretty cool tech, like secret compartments and special effects. The challenges are cleverly written, and the rooms are designed to showcase the grand scheme. Now, enter the "Game Masters" - onsite workers who do a few things behind the scenes (like trigger events and offer clues/help as leniency, if you get too stumped). Our group of 8 (adults and a couple of kiddos) played the Batman Escape game on regular mode, and we ALL enjoyed it tremendously!!! We racked our brains, we cheered, we panicked (only a little), we laughed (a lot)... and we won (phew, haha!). Really impressed by how creative and well-executed the game was. Trent was such a friendly & helpful coordinator, and Rayne came in clutch as our awesome Game Master! Highly recommend doing an escape room as a unique group activity, and this place handles the crowd and delivers the experience very well! Definitely coming back again, for another game!!!

Like the convenience of selecting and purchasing tickets in advance online. Bar and seat service of full menu is a pleasure and enjoy. This visit chairs comfy, reclining and relaxing with large cup holders. However l, sound bleeding through from two other sides made it distracting and at times difficult to hear our movie. Also service got a little dicey when asking for refills and a different server came and was loud and distracting during the middle of the movie, not trying to be discreet or keep volume down with us as well as with other patrons around us. Unfortunately for the price of movie tickets we will likely go bank to Star cinema in College Station or a recently remodeled nearby other cinema.
