Best auto service i've been too. Wahid is very nice, straight to the point, and got the service done extremely fast. I called right before I did a walk in to get a time estimate (Wahid answered the phone as well) and what was the best way to approach the situation; it was all accurate. The service was done in an hour. He accommodated to all of my needs in a professional and efficient manner (I was in a rush to work, and he took me in immediately and got it done well before I needed to go to work). I first misjudged this place thinking they were trying to overcharge for a service and so didn't even give them a chance to help me out. That was my loss. I came back after realizing the price they were asking was standard and I jumped the gun to assume the classic mechanic overcharge stigma you see at a lot of practices. The owner Sam (Mustafa) is a down to earth guy that knows what he's doing. He came out in the middle of having his lunch to greet me and help me out and didn't keep me waiting at all. Although I went in only for a tire patch, I was happy to know of their other body shop services Sam let me know about as my car definitely needs some fix ups. As my tire was getting patched, he buffed off a noticeable white mark on my bumper and gave me estimated quotes for fixing and painting the rest of my bumper while simultaneously reaching out to his connections to get quotes for a replacement brake light for me. He's a man with integrity and knows what he's talking about as he mentioned he's been there for 14 years now. I'm happy to have found this nearby spot that I know I'll be recommending my friends and family to while coming back here for my future needs. My family decided to take a road trip to Las Vegas for spring break. We loaded up the car and packed all the kids in. As we were leaving the car had difficulty starting and the check engine light turned on. After calling a couple dealerships and being told it would be several days before we could bring the car in for diagnostic, we drove to Star Auto. We did not have an appointment, but the owner, Sam, immediately sent someone to run the diagnostic. He explained the problem and told us it wasn't safe to drive through the desert. He was able to get the needed replacement part and fix the car in less than an hour! The customer service was top notch and the cost was fair, actually less than we anticipated. My car randomly seized up just as I pulled in to work this morning and threw up about every light on the dash. I had my car towed to Star Auto and they told me they would charge for a diagnostic and let me know from there. About 30 minutes later they called back saying the only thing they found was a loose hose but otherwise nothing was wrong with the car and so they would waive the fee. While I was waiting in line I heard them tell several other customers that they would waive the fee if nothing was wrong with their car. Honestly if they had told me I needed to pay $200 to replace the loose hose I would have been happy to get away from a mechanic so cheaply, but to get away feeling like I got an honest opinion is great. They accurately diagnosed my car and ordered a brand new part right away within several minutes. Last time I made the mistake of going to US smog right next door. I got a smog check and Howard told me there was coolant leaking and said I had to replace my whole radiator. I had just got a new radiator a few months ago.
