The only reason it was obvious was because the screen was so dark she could not see to use her iPhone. It looked as if the lighting was on the lowest setting but even turning on the backlight didn't make a difference. They should've never charged her and if I was there, I would've called the police on them. They either stole her original screen or broke a piece inside the phone when they replaced the microphone. The associate said that he could replace the screen with a third party screen (which would make it look original and bright again) but she wanted her phone in the original state she brought it in (original Apple part) just with a fixed microphone. They still charged her over $100+ to fix the microphone and now she has to pay $200+ to get the screen fix that they ruined. My mother's iPhone screen was not cracked and brought in its original condition. I recommend everyone to take their Apple products directly to Apple for repair. She also should've known because on her way out, there was a gentleman who claimed he bought his phone from this company recently and it stopped working. There was another woman who was complaining that she recently bought an iPhone from this company and when she went to register it, she couldn't because it was a "stolen phone". These are all red flags and I don't recommend going to this business for iPhones or iPhone repairs. I'm disappointed for my mother because she is older and was taken advantage of. They should've never charged her and tried to lie and say her phone came in that way when it didn't. They are definitely scamming people and it's sad when it's older people who are not technology savvy.

Thankfully, I had the pleasure of being helped by the store owner, Tish, who completely turned the experience around. Tish was patient, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. She didn't make me feel embarrassed for not knowing, but instead took the time to explain everything in detail so that I could make the best choice. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine desire to help stood out to me in a big way. Because of this level of service, I won't go anywhere else. Batteries Plus has earned my trust, and I'll always be a repeat customer at my neighborhood store. If you're looking for great products and even better customer care, this is the place to go!

Friendly customer service, knowledgeable, quick to find me what I needed - I was in and out in seconds. AND they tried to save me money. I needed watch batteries for an online banking card reader from the UK and needed four of them which would have come to over $20. They gave me a different battery that still works and cost me $14 in a multipack. Yes, it's cheaper on Amazon - but I needed something ASAP. I appreciate all their efforts, but sadly the batteries didn't work as they were just a bit too thin in width and wouldn't press down on the contact strips fully. I should have taken the reader with me, really, but regardless, impressive customer service, even if it is a bit pricey in here.

    Fex Ex in Hampton, VA is incompetent to have deliveries on the truck. This has happened multiple…read moretimes. This last shipment has live animals and the delivery was expected overnight. It didn't arrive in the scheduled window however the tracking said it arrived at the facility at 8am the morning it was scheduled to be delivered. Call customer service and they said it would be later that evening. It was not. Talked to 2 additional customer service and they kept say it would be delivered the next day. Put in a complaint ticket for someone to call back and asked for manager to call. Received nothing. Now 2 days later, o. Saturday, received a notification that our delivery would arrive on Monday. Why pay for overnight?! You can't trust them to do thier job for delivery and they down right lie. Ridiculous. I am worried that our livr animals will now be dead when it arrives.

We were welcomed promptly after walking in and was able to get everything completed very quickly! My bf put on the return label and the FedEx technician was able to slowly remove it for us and place in a FedEx clear envelope to make it easier for scanning and tracking. I was very happy with the level of service this FedEx provided. I also enjoyed that they enforced the mask and social distancing to keep the customers and employees safe!
