I had a package that I wanted to send air express and the Franchise Store on Monticello avenue was closed - we drove out to the Parcel Stop on a Sunday and the young lady processsed our package - I was a little skeptical since the Parcel Stop still used the multi-copy paper bill of lading and don't have the electronic receipts and scanners like the franchise store does, however, I was very impressed that the next day my recipient called and said he had received his package at 10:00am that morning - highly recommended read more

5 stars isn't enough. These guys are a credit to the local community. We use this business several times each week for our business shipping drop off. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. When my wife was pregnant and brought shipping to them they were always quick to go above and beyond to help with larger packages. The prices I've had quoted and hear others given always seem very fair and you can tell they take their time to find people the best rate. read more

Thomas Baker, the manager, has been consistently "can do" when mailing a new package, returning an Amazon item or just buying stamps. Just off Monticello in the Publix shopping center, tucked in the corner, it's easy to get parking too. I've tried UPS by Home Depot several times in the past four years and have been so turned off by the store policy (if a label needs to be printed, the customer is charged for computer use vs just printing off my phone eml), told they could pack and mail a table based on dimensions I gave them, driving 20 minutes out there, then told no. The Parcel Shop, right off 199, looks for the best price, good at managing multiple clients and listens to needs, such as expedite versus cost. A plus in Williamsburg! read more

I have no idea why anybody would give this place less than five stars. Every employee here is extremely helpful, fast, and capable. I've dealt mostly with Thomas who seems to be the head manager and is one of the nicest guys I've ever come across. I will never go to the regular post office again. read more

They have the worst customer service and excessive shipping rates. We asked that our package be sent via UPS and it was shipped via USPS. The rate they charged was twice that of the Post Office. The package was completely wrapped and addressed; so, why should there be such a markup on a 2 pound package. Use another provider such as UPS or FEDEX. read more

I brought 2 boxes to Parcel Stop to ship to the same location in Texas. After figuring out that it was going to cost me about $100 to shop both boxes, Sheila measured both, went in the back to check out a box size and was able to combine them into one box. Savings to me was $35! I am a confirmed and happy customer!!! read more

I would shop around for a better shipping rate. I was traveling and purchased a very small scanner to use while in town. I boxed it back up in the original package and gave a relative 30 bucks to take to a very conveniently located Parcel Pros. I ship stuff all over, and figured, UPS Ground, packing this in a box, the 30 bucks would cover it. It turned out, just barely. The bill came to $26.38. Parcel Pros just took the original box, taped it up and shipped it as is. I'm OK with that part because it arrived in good condition in a timely manner. I ran the numbers for me to ship the same package to the same Williamsburg zip with a Residential charge, using my UPS account. My bill would have been $13.44. So there is almost a 100% markup to ship UPS packages from Parcel Pros. I don't deny anyone a markup. And, these guys are in business to service people with infrequent shipping needs. The typical clientele has no way of gauging these sorts of things, so that can mark up shipping very high. I'm just saying, shop around if you need to ship UPS or FedEx. read more

This place is a disaster. They are closed when they are advertised that they are open - they wasted my time twice, driving there during their advertised hours and guess what, a sign saying they will be back in an hour and one time with no sign at all, just closed. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time with this store, they do not care about business. read more

I agree with Bill R.. . . shop around for better rates. I was lazy and took my 2 packages to Parcel Pros since they are 5 minutes from my house. BIG MISTAKE! It cost $60 for a 7 lb. package (16" x 16" x16") and $40 for a 6 lb. package (16" x 13" x 13"). The packages were going to rural Oklahoma so I expected to pay higher rates but $108 total was unbelievable! And that was GROUND rate! Being in a hurry with five people in line behind me, I swallowed hard and paid the money. Never again! After I got home I called the local UPS Store and they quoted me $38.40 for BOTH packages together! And still arriving on the same date. The UPS Store is about 15 minutes away in York County but I am DEFINITELY shipping THERE from now on! The lady behind the counter was patient and very nice but not enough to warrant paying THREE TIMES the UPS quote! Buyer beware! read more
