Then he charged me a down payment of 200 for a motherboard that was unavailable. Then no one called me back for days and days despite numerous calls and messages left. Now charges have to be reversed and nothing was done whatsoever to fix the computer. I'm enraged This was the worst experience I've had in decades with any type of service. Wow. Just WOW! Finally, I called a few days later saying that it would get sent this week. Still non. I called the following week, left voicemails, which weren't returned, got the email a few days later after a call back to them. They say the repair is going to be done on Monday and you call on Wednesday to find out if its been shipped out and they havent even completed the work. They then proceed to tell me that the repair will be done on Friday. I call back on monday and said it will be done on Saturday. Finally got the text, saying it will be shipped out next day air. Let's see what the repair is like. Since I haven't received the phone back yet. This would be first time fix for a Samsung phone. I've used them with a laptop and got similar experience. This is the last time i am using Asurion in Hamden. I'll drive 30+ minutes to get my device fixed at another Asurion (Poughkeepsie, NY) if needed.

    I typically buy refurbished phones off eBay, but this time I saw an ad online saying support small…read morebusinesses, and I decided why not, let me give it a shot. I walked in and the buying process was as smooth as it could have been. The refurbished phone was a bit scratched up but seemed to work fine. Two hours later the back of the refurbished phone (iPhone) was peeling off. For me it was a bad sign (if the back of the phone was already peeling off, what else will break? It just seemed like shotty work). I went back for a refund as the phone did not seem to be in good condition. I was told that there would be a restocking fee... fine. Then they told me they were doing me a "favor" by accepting my return, and that within the 3 hours that I was gone they sold my trade-in device. Note that there was no signage in the store, or on my receipt stating that there wasn't a refund policy. So because of how "complicated" the transaction was I was only able to be refunded for the actual money that was paid (I completely lost my trade-in; I said that he had no problem assigning a cash value for it earlier in the transaction. I was basically told that there was not enough margin for him to refund me the agreed upon trade-in value? ). I would not recommend doing business here.

    My work phone (iPhone 8) had been failing to charge, even after trying different charging cords…read more(you know ... those things that only seem to last a month?). Then, on Saturday, it refused to turn on, even though I knew it had at least a 10 percent charge. I needed it fixed quickly, since I was on-call the next day. I chose to take it here because they are open until 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and they are close to work. I dropped the phone off around noontime, and the gentleman (who I believe was the owner) assured me it would be fixed that day, and that he would call me when it was ready. So, I went and did some errands while I waited for a callback. Around 4 p.m., I hadn't heard anything, so I called them, and was told the phone was ready. I arrived to a fully-charged, functional phone! As he had suspected, the problem had turned out to be a faulty charging port, and faulty battery, which were both replaced for a total of $125. I don't know how that compares to other companies, but that price seemed fair and reasonable to me; besides, I was very happy to have a working phone within the same day. The business, which is conveniently located on Post Road, and has plenty of parking, had a waiting area, but it is closed due to Covid regulations. Displays of merchandise and accessories appeared well organized. I gave four stars, instead of five, for two reasons: First, communication could have been better (they did not call to let me know my phone was ready). Also, I brought the phone in with a protective case on it, but, I was handed a naked phone when I went to pick it up. Fortunately, I realized it before I drove away, so I went back inside to get my case, which the owner was able to find, thankfully. Overall, though, I was happy, especially with the speed of the service, and told my office manager, who seemed impressed and will likely refer employees there for future phone repairs.

He is excellent with shipping strategies and packaging ideas to help save you money. At times he may come across as being stoic or rude, but trust me he is neither of these. He is all work and will focus on your shipping efforts with complete professionalism. I think some customers feel that they must be catered to in all situations and be treated like honored guest. This is not the place for that. This is nothing more than a professional and well maintained shipping store. If you expect to get your ego massaged while you wait in line.. you wont.. Further more, I have had many situations where products have been returned for various reasons. The parcel center handles these situations with perfect delicacy and excellent follow-up. On several occasions they would re-package and re-send with out ant additional cost even though it was probably my fault for sending the item to the wrong address. Additionally I have had many , many customer complements after I shipped something about how well the item was packaged and how fast it was received. All and all, I have had nothing but excellent service from The Parcel center for many years and I will continue to go there for all my shipping needs.

He grudgingly told me that I'd need to call UPS. When i asked for a phone number, he looked at me as if I was an idiot before supplying the number. This man was not happy in his job, and he managed to make this customer's experience as unpleasant as possible.
