You can tell she is very busy and does a lot on her own and I commend that. This is for sure an older building and I think it's super cool. They have parking in the front (street) and parking In the back with a ramp for wheelchairs. The line was very short and I enjoyed this location. It was very easy to mail my package and Jennifer was very kind. I would for sure come here again if I was in the area. She takes her time with customers but doesn't take forever either. Great service and great location.

A mix of old wooden PO Boxes and new metal ones are available in the lobby. It's a small space but they manage to fit a lot in. I mailed a package from here and kept the receipt to track delivery. Just a normal package, no special instructions. But the package never showed it had left the building. I filed a missing package report through the USPS website and about a week later our mailman showed up with the box saying it needs postage. I took the package and receipt back to this post office and the clerk (a different one) put new postage on it at no cost to me. Both clerks were very nice. We think the label used first time was torn off in the sorting process. A smaller label was used this time so we should be good.

There was a short line, and one employee on the register. He was delightful, chatting up all the customers, getting a few laughs and smiling like he just loved serving the public. You don't often get that at a post office and it was very refreshing. The line moved along pretty well depending on how many items each customer had to process and everyone was patient. There are a couple of tables in the lobby for filling out forms. One gentleman must have purchased stamps and was putting postage on a pile of cards at one of the tables. They have PO Boxes, shipping materials and cards for sale as well as flat rate boxes and envelopes available in the lobby so you can box up your items before going to the clerk for service. Passports are not processed here, but at the Warwick Post Office. Plenty of parking in their private lot, which is 'one-way'. A drive-up mailbox is located at the parking lot exit. Wheelchair buttons to auto open the doors if you need assistance are to the side of the entrance.

This is where you would go for all the usual town necessaries. In better times (pre-pandemic) we would come in to pay our property taxes for example. Over this past year town offices are open by appointment only. They were taking early voting ballots here in October and the mail in ballot drop box was on the stoop out front. They also have a box (a literal, cardboard box) in the vestibule where you can drop off mail to the town clerk and other offices if you are in the area and don't want to drop it in the mail. In my experiences over the years, everyone here has been very nice and helpful. It's been a bit of a crazy year, and everything is new, still when I called asking for assistance, they were professional and courteous. This location refused to ship my package, stating that my item had to be in an unwrapped box, because conveyor belts would "tear the paper up" (gee, if the conveyor are that rough, I feel bad for the people who have to work around them). They then offered to sell me a box - for $12! Uh, no way, Jose. I drove to another FedEx location, which was much more helpful (and pleasant!), saying I could just add some strips of clear tape to reinforce the paper, without having to re-box my item. He even offered to let me use their tape. The only reason I am giving the location at 1000 Bald Hill Road two stars, instead of one, is that they are open until 7 p.m. Doesn't matter to me, though, as I won't be going there again.
