Social media influencer in need of a light ring? They have those. Need office furniture? They have a pretty big selection. Files? Paper? Laundry detergent? Canned air? Basically most everything you could want to organize or run a business is here. Five stars for inventory. The other side of that coin is there is no one available to help. You have to wander around the store and hope you stumble upon what you are looking for. Yes, there are signs, but under what category do you shelf a 'ring light' for example? Is the water cooler under 'water' 'cooler' 'office equipment'? One person was working the print area. We didn't bother them, they were busy. The one person at the register was surly. We all have bad days, but this person was not an example of customer facing professionalism. Didn't speak unless absolutely necessary and that was just the spiel corporate tells them to say. We needed a large cart to move a box from the back of the store. He just pointed to the regular shopping carts. At check out there was no interaction other than 'do you want insurance'. So zero stars for customer service. Not a big deal. They have a nice selection and if we are looking for something they carry we'll stop in again. It just would have been nice to share a bit of friendly interaction with a fellow human being but, whatever.

But Luca (hope I spelled it right) was working the printing services area. I picked up my posters and I had asked him how much would he charge to laminate my uncle's obituary card, he quickly grabbed it and took care of it. I really appreciated how he handled it with care and told me don't worry about the cost that he would take care of it, this means so much to me as this is important to me and I didn't want it to be damaged. Luca was very sweet and left a lasting impression on me. I really hope Luca gets some praise for making my day and for being so kind, but also being a great employee. Making sure I loved the posters and showing them to me and also doing that favor for me with my uncle's obituary. Lucas customer service was on point and I appreciate it so much. I will for sure be doing ALL of my printing services for the business from now on, here! All thanks to Luca!

I recently bought a pair of work boots online, that I had to ship back. The seller had shipped them…read morein a plastic bag, and I didn't have a larger box on hand, so I covered the shoe box with heavy, brown wrapping paper, using clear packing tape on the seams, and to cover the shipping label. This location refused to ship my package, stating that my item had to be in an unwrapped box, because conveyor belts would "tear the paper up" (gee, if the conveyor are that rough, I feel bad for the people who have to work around them). They then offered to sell me a box - for $12! Uh, no way, Jose. I drove to another FedEx location, which was much more helpful (and pleasant!), saying I could just add some strips of clear tape to reinforce the paper, without having to re-box my item. He even offered to let me use their tape. The only reason I am giving the location at 1000 Bald Hill Road two stars, instead of one, is that they are open until 7 p.m. Doesn't matter to me, though, as I won't be going there again.

A woman with a very thick Rhode Island accent (so comforting) called me sweetheart & went above & beyond to help me figure out my shipping situation. I was in & out in about 8 minutes. My only critique was how quiet it was in the storefront. I feel like shipping details are sometimes sensitive or private. With a dead quiet store, I could hear everything the guy in front of me was explaining to the employee. Some soft music would've covered that right up & made it feel less awkward inside.

Our last visit we needed to return the previous owners license plate from a vehicle we recently purchased in another state. The original owner let us use their plate until we had it register here in RI. As soon as we had the vehicle registered, we stopped by UPS and sent the plate on it's way back home. The gentleman assisting us was polite and enthusiastic. We let him know what was needed, he quickly began the process of creating a label for the package and let us know when the package should arrive, barring any unforeseen circumstances. There was some information on the label that needed to be changed (name spelling), which was quickly accomplished. I wanted to be sure the spelling was correct as the package was being picked up at another UPS store, not delivered to a business or home. We paid a reasonable amount, had the tracking number in hand and were out of the building in just minutes. The package did arrive in the time expected. The owner let me know they had returned the plate to their DMV and that was that. Quick and efficient. Just what you want in a delivery service.

A mix of old wooden PO Boxes and new metal ones are available in the lobby. It's a small space but they manage to fit a lot in. I mailed a package from here and kept the receipt to track delivery. Just a normal package, no special instructions. But the package never showed it had left the building. I filed a missing package report through the USPS website and about a week later our mailman showed up with the box saying it needs postage. I took the package and receipt back to this post office and the clerk (a different one) put new postage on it at no cost to me. Both clerks were very nice. We think the label used first time was torn off in the sorting process. A smaller label was used this time so we should be good.
