Angela, the lead in the department, consistently provides excellent customer service on every occasion without exception. Whether you are the only customer present, or in queue with several customers, she acknowledges each very professionally and courteously. They have the most helpful staff...I was shopping for our teacher appreciation month "May", and got help from the manager and a young lady who was a part of the restocking team...they helped me find everything I needed, told me about extra discounts going on at the time....they are the BEST...THANKS YOU Mrs. Williams read more

Very poor service, especially in the copy department. I would not recommend this particular Staples even though it is my local store. I even spoke with the store manager about my problem at the time and all he had to say to me was, "I'll look into it." Called by phone before having to drive over to the store since there was no answer in the copy department. With five employees behind the desk, some looking bored, and not seeming to be working, I was unable to get one of them to take my copy job!! Never again. So upsetting when there are so many young people looking for work! read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. I ordered a very simple poster to be printed for the same day through their online services. I came to pick up the order the next day and after being ignored for about 10 minutes was finally waited on and of course there was no poster printed. Their excuse was "yeah, that order didn't get picked up." (They had it in their system!) When I asked what that meant, they said, "We just didn't do it." No email, no phone call, no nothing so that I could have had it done somewhere else. No apology, no discount, nothing. They offered to do it right away and told me to come back a half hour later. I did, and stood at the counter without anyone even acknowledging my existence until I finally asked the status, to which they said, probably another 20 minutes. Honestly terrible customer service. I saw several other customers dissatisfied as well. One actually got shocked on the copy machine and the guy behind the counter said that it was probably static electricity and to TRY IT AGAIN. To which she refused as the machine had malfunctioned because of the shock and swallowed her credit card. Didn't sound like static electricity to me. If you can avoid using their printing service you'd be saving yourself a big headache and perhaps electrocution. read more

I came in to get some paper printed. I was told by some idiot rude lady no we can't do it. Well if you got off your ass and came over here maybe you would understand what I am trying ask you to do. So I had use their work station to find what I need. I clearly stated are your sure you can't find me so r gift certificate using word template. Her answer no. Well you dumb shit I did your job found what I was asking you using your computer. Than I wanted her to print the gift certificate on better paper ok found the paper done. I asked Nicely can cut them up. By here face I expressing I was asking to fucking done something really hard. No just line up the paper cut dame gift certificate. She reply ooo you would need to come back in 40 minute while I was the only person at her station. After she took my order she just left on the tar and went back to doing some shit on her cell phone. What the fuck what are u getting paid for. Seriously if she was working for me and someone e told me about I would have fired her ass. read more

I went to the office and print center and it was my worst experience ever!!! I printed the same thing as I do back in colorado, normally $7 came out to $33 and change. Wtf?!?!? Serious the lady helping me was so mean and rude the entire time. Then they printed half my stuff on normal paper instead of card stock so I had to go back. When I went back they were horrible again, and told me it wasn't their fault. Well it's not mine. They reprinted them, and I asked if having to come back, they would cut them ( normally done free at my other store) She informed me it's $2 a cut for a total of 24 per page extra on top of it!!! Rip off a** holes. I was thoroughly disappointed at the lack of any customer service skills or hospitality, especially coming from somebody in that industry. Go anywhere else and you have hope. This review is for the Copy Center department of this store. I would like to specifically give a shout out to their staff named Angie. I walked in the store early this week with a CD at hand containing two images of Lego holiday cards I downloaded online. I had an idea I would have them printed on stock card. I didn't know if the image was formatted or sized correctly. Angie was helping another customer but the moment she was done with that person, she attended to me with a smile. As it turned out, my images were not formatted and she would need to play around with them so they would look nice on a postcard format. While she was doing this, the line started forming. She was able to manage everyone efficiently and politely. She even offered to cut them for me when she got done printing them. I was very impressed with Angie. I only had a $12 printing job compared to the other customers who were picking up stacks of orders that were probably hundreds of dollars worth but Angie treated me no less than them. She should be the manager of that store. read more

Shantell Garbutt is the finest, most professional store manager I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with -- and I mean anywhere I called and did business with her some weeks ago and subsequently promised to write this review in return for the truly magnificent assistance she provided; I am only sorry my workload has prevented me from doing so sooner. In sum, my company was about to produce a major event not far from her store, and we suddenly realized we needed a number of last minute supplies -- and I do mean Last Minute. While other office supply stores were already closed or soon closing that evening, Shantell cheerfully stayed open to personally assist me, and ultimately did not get off the phone with me until WELL PAST Staples' official closing time. She not only provided extraordinarily helpful guidance by phone, but solid supporting explanations as to what merchandise she in stock, personally walked the floor to make sure she had proper numbers of inventory on hand, mentioned comparably less expensive merchandise she further had available, and provided additional helpful discounts on additional merchandise we ultimately realize we needed. As if all of this weren't great enough, she even offered to take the initiative and call several managers at competing stores regarding highly specialized merchandise Staples doesn't traditionally carry, to see if these competitors could further assist. Shantell personally spoke with these managers, and even queried them regarding which price options might work the best for us, inclusive of determining the barest quantities we needed for specific items, to not only save us more money but a valued trip down the road, in the event her competitor's pricing options didn't work for our budget. In sum, Shantell treated us not merely as a valued customer, but as if she herself were experiencing the very same business dilemma we suddenly found ourselves immersed in, and did so at every step, efficiently, cheerfully, and without any complaint. If it were in my power to promote her, I would; If could offer her a raise, I would do it. But since it's not in my power to do either thing, I at least wanted to call attention to this fine lady through this review. In sum, Shantell exemplifies a work ethic that many in America now complain has been lost, but which nonetheless is apparently still alive and well in certain corners. She should make Staples very proud. read more
