The manager is rude and will scam you're here for any type of electronics repair. They claim to have professionals do the repairs, but it is much more likely they have some teen who watched a couple youtube videos fixing their electronics. When I got my phone back, the replacement screen was not as responsive as the original and it was not correctly aligned with the frame. You are better off going to an actual electronics repair shop than getting a botched repair here. read more

Horrible service...told I would have a brochure ready within 48 hours...that didn't happen. A month later I created some noise and finally got it finished. Never an apology, never any offer of a discount. Emails I received from them were always blaming other employees for failing to contact me. Very disappointed in their service. Employees need training on stocking items and how to say "your welcome" instead of "no problem"

This Staples is what I refer to as a necessary evil that I have to mentally prepare to shop at. Why, because of the ridiculous lack of knowledge & customer service. We specifically stopped in to purchase a new pricing gun. We were familiar with our Devo & wanted to make sure the Avery was of a similar set up. When asked if we could see the guns set up, we were told they would charge us $10! I was surprised & very turned off that Staples would make me pay for what I consider basic customer service. We declined to pay, left the store & placed the order online. I did call customer service prior to my online order & the person I spoke to was very helpful in verifying the specifics of the two brands & did not charge me any additional fees for that knowledge. read more

Interesting to note that upon entering this store, one can see a note at the door that says "we only hire great people...." however, the sluggish, unmotivated, unsmiling, non-English speaking among themselves staff represent the exact opposite of that statement. We were served at the copy center, and three employees kept up a running conversation in Spanish, about fellow lame employees, while they were serving us. I speak, read and write Spanish, so I am not mistaken in this observation. It really bothered me that this seemed to be normal. I even spoke a little Spanish back to them to see if they would notice or stop.... but no. They ran my job, all the while sharing their commentary, and images on their smart phones. I realize that this is a different era, but respect, and customer service need to come back into play if we are to compete in today's economy. This has to have been my worst customer service experience ever. I took my mom's phone to the Staples in Watsonville to get a cracked screen repaired. The manager there told me that the phone would be repaired by the following day. I called the next morning and asked about the phone. They told me that they had not started on the repair yet. I waited for them to let me know when I would be able to pick up my mom's phone and I never got a call back. I called the Staples store again the next day and they told me that they were having some issues putting the new screen on the phone. I saw it in person and saw that they had left my mom's phone with a gap between the glass and the metal frame. I left the phone in the store for another day because the manager said that a professional technician would come in to fix it. I never got a call or an update on how the phone was doing, so once again I called the Staples store. I was left on hold for 17 minutes before they hung up on me. After this incident I was concerned about my mom's phone because it seemed like they were avoiding me, so I go into the Staples store again. I asked the manager if my mom's phone had been repaired, and he handed me a phone that was even worse than how I had brought it in initially. The phone didn't have any charge so I couldn't check if it worked. They also didn't fix the gap between the glass and the metal frame. The manager was making up lies left and right. First, he said that they couldn't fix it because the phone was bent and the screen didn't fit right. Then he said that the screen didn't fit because there was some screws missing. The only way screws can get lost is if the person who disassembled the phone lost them which made the store responsible. After a quick charge of the phone I tried to test it and it turns out that the home button had stopped working. Without the home button my mom's phone can't be unlocked, making her phone useless. I was clearly upset with the result of this "repair' and the manager offered me a 3rd party repairman but I asked for a refund instead. He refused to give me a refund because they had already worked on the phone. I wanted a full refund because my mom's phone wasn't working at all and they were responsible for fixing it. Finally the manager offered me a partial refund or nothing. I paid a total of $163.85 and ended up leaving with an even worse phone and only a partial refund of $131.09. I have pictures of my original and refunded receipts. The manager slipped a coupon into my bill that was not refundable, I never gave him a coupon to begin with. This store is extremely unprofessional. They don't care about their customers and are very rude. They are thieves and they scammed me and my family, and the manager told me that this is all just "business". I will be reporting this event to corporate Staples and to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I was just there not 20 minutes ago to buy a 10 cent paper bag. When it came time to hand the worker the money i lightly tossed it on the counter. The worker who turned out to be the manager as he was eager to tell me simply to stroke his ego, told me to leave his store. I immediately started to apalogize to him(something i didnt need to do considering there were several other stores i could get a bag from) i told sorry if i offended you but i didnt mean any offense. Then he started to threaten me by saying hes going to call security.( this is when i do start to get rude and rightfully so considering i apologized for my mistake and he starts to threaten me simply to use me as a scapegoat for his god complex). By now were out of the store and im pissed so i tell him he needs to work on his ( f u c k i n g g o d c o m p l e x) he sais EXCUUUSSE ME and starts to call security. I needed a single document scanned to a USB or emailed to my email address to apply for a job today. The cut off time was 5pm to submit the application and this typing certificate was the final thing I needed. It was approximately 4:15-4:20pm when I went in the local Staples. There was a young man and a young woman behind the counter...I waited patiently to be helped while they went on for a few minutes talking about an order for some customers t-shirts...without them greeting me or saying something like, "we will be right with you." Instead i just got a look up from the paper for this customers t-shirts spelling of "californian" and ignored. When they were done I was told it would be 30 minutes minimum to get the document scanned. Unbelievable. Luckily I had an uncle who I had tried calling earlier call me back...and said I could use his scanner. After reading the reviews here before posting mine...i probably should have read the reviews here first before entering. read more

I've been going to this location the last few days because my copier/scanner just stopped working. Up until today, the customer service at the Print Center was pretty good. I went there to have ONLY 2 pieces of "paper" scanned onto my flash drive. There were no customers at the print center at this time. The girl at the counter told me to come back in TWO hours because she was busy. Really? Umm, let's think about this for a second. The time it takes to scan 2 documents to a flash drive is probably less than a minute, right? Did I miss something here? The best part of the story is when I called to speak to the manager, JAMES, and he gave me the typical "Staples" excuse for the lack of customer service. He said if the order was not emailed or not turned in earlier in the day like possibly others that did, you have to wait your turn. Ok, I understand on large quantity print/copy orders, yes that does make sense and those customers realize they have to turn those orders in early to meet deadlines, right? What Mr. Staples manager James seems to forget is that on a early weekday afternoon, there are more Staple employee's wondering the store than there are customers. Isn't the highest priority for a store manager is to insure that the customer (singular) has a average to above average customer service experience? If the Print area was so busy that they couldn't spend 1 minute to scan 2 pages for me, why couldn't JAMES delegate it to another person to do it? Also, if the print area was so busy, how come none of your fancy MFP's and production machines running? And if they were running, those fancy Xerox production machines have auto duplexing and can print a few thousand copies left unattended. Again, no customers there and all machines were silent. So sorry JAMES, your excuse for being so busy just doesn't make sense. Dear Staples Corp Office, please replace this guy JAMES. I was going to buy a replacement copier/scanner there, but now have a change of heart. JAMES may tell me they are to busy to ring up the sale. read more
