I had to return a pair of loafers that I bought from Amazon. Staples was one of the options to accept Amazon returns for free without the need for me to package the item or do anything else... just bring it to Staples. Hence, I am here. I arrived around 7:00 PM with my loafers in a box. Lady behind the counter scanned my QR code and the item. She printed my receipt plus $10 off any $30 purchase. It was quick and easy. Of course I couldn't pass up on the discount offer. So I walked around the store to see if there was anything I need. I saw some food containers that would have come in handy. However, they ran out of the lower cost ones and I didn't want to spend double to get less containers. I ended up buying a wall charger, a car charger, a Takeya 64 oz water bottle, and some sandwich zip lock bags. I didn't leave the store until 5 minutes till closing time. Yes, it took me a while to choose my items LOL. Staff was pleasant and patient. Store was clean and organized. However, there were a few aisles that were out of stock on things. The discounted or sale items were scattered a little bit. Anyway, I will definitely reuse Staples for Amazon returns in the future. Thank you! read more

I really appreciate that, because I was having a very stressful evening due to the rain storms and their kindness made a huge difference to me. I called the Victorville Staples store and asked to speak to the Copy Center. I was on hold for quite a while. But I get that they are busy. So, I waited patiently. When the clerk answered the phone, I asked, (just to verify), if they make copies on colored paper. The lady said yes, we do. I pretty much knew that, but I was setting up for my next question, which was, how much is a blank copy on colored paper. She didn't know, and said that she estimates it would be about 15 cents more than a regular copy. Idk how much their regular copies are, but I don't exactly want a copy, I just wanted to buy the blank colored paper and make the copy myself at home. Well, apparently, they dont want to sell me 10 sheets of plain red copying paper. So, I had to order a whole pack of 50 sheets of red paper off Amazon. I don't see why it makes any difference to them at all what my plans are for the colored paper I wanted to buy, or why they would only want to sell me 10 sheets of red copy paper only if they get to make copies on it. Why don't you sell customers blank sheets of paper? Aren't you in business to sell paper? Idk why some people make things difficult for customers, but just to let you know, if you don't sell customers colored paper, they will go elsewhere to buy it. I guess you don't care about that. Well, you saved me a trip out, now I'll have it conveniently delivered to my house tomorrow. I guess your unwillingness to sell me 10 sheets of blank red copy paper was a blessing. read more

I had to take a moment to compliment 6 employees I had the pleasure of being helped. Visiting the store today was a really good experience! My printer broke so I went in to print my labels I was thrilled to see I could leave my USPS packages! What a time saver. The young lady that helped me gave me a coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase of paper towels etc. I actually needed all of that so it was a nice find. The tape dispenser was out and that employee quickly replaced the tape. A temp was there and he was so pleasant! The 2 ladies at the register were AMAZING! There was a problem with my transaction and the manager came and took care of it. Looks like the employees are treated well because you can feel how genuine they are. I have always loved Staples and been a long time, loyal customer for years. They always gave exceptional service and help. However, on November 1, 2024, I had an emergency and needed to print out a document from my emails. I signed on, couldn't find my document, signed off, removed my card, found the document on my phone, reinserted my card, signed on again, and printed out the 2 copies I needed. I left. I received two receipts by email. One for $3.58 and one for $0.98. When I checked my bank account hours later, there were two charges from Staples for $10 each. The other two charges were not even mentioned on my bank statement. When I called Staples to ask what happened, I was told I should have read the fine print more carefully. What the Fluff? The person explained that it was a $10 login fee. There are no signs on the computers, nobody explained it. SUPPOSEDLY, it's in the fine print terms you have to agree to. Someone should have told me about it when I requested to use the computer. And, most importantly, I'm not a lawyer, but I read on the internet that a business cannot charge you without giving you a receipt. I don't have a receipt for the $20 they billed my bank. As of today, Nov. 3, I don't have the money returned. I doubt I ever will. I used to love them. Now I can't trust them. read more

Do not I repeat do not let " Marissa " at the Printing Station for help you . I picked up my business cards and they printed them wrong . She proceeded to tell me that I did it wrong online . When in fact, I did them in the store with one of the employees managing the printing . Also, I have in my email where I sent it the correct way . She continues getting an attitude clapping her hands as if she's frustrated. After all of that tells me they will print them again for free. I then leave the store with the box of old cards that they didn't ask for back . After I leave they called to come back and bring the old cards back . Then Marissa start laughing with and customer that was in line . Not acceptable Staples ! The black girl and Hispanics girl with the glasses led handle things well . THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, FAST AND EFFICIENT SERVICE! THANK YOU TO THIS AMAZING TEAM & SUMMER! I emailed staples for my prints, and it didn't seem to work. Summer noticed that I was waiting for a very long time, and she swooped right in to help me! She gave me a new email address to send my things to, and thank goodness it worked! I got my prints for 1.50 and I was on my way! 5 mins later, I realized I sent the wrong thing and needed more prints of something else!! I went back again and they were so cool about it! Summer was gone for the day and her boss took over, and got me my new prints. I think her name was heather? I'm not sure, but she was awesome too! There was also two younger black girls, maybe my age? And a young Mexican guy, (possibly my age too. Today was his birthday! lol. Happy birthday to him! ) and they were all so friendly and helpful. When I came back for the second time, the manager gave me my prints for free. How cool is that?! You go in there and the workers are very unprofessional and talking loudly about other coworkers while I'm standing there not being helped. One of the young ladies was bragging about how she asked one of the managers /supervisors how nice it must be to sit in an air conditioned office and not have to work. I figure with that attitude you won't know what it's like to be in an air conditioned office if you can't even get tend to your business, which is the customer's on the floor. read more

The manager here was so inconsiderate in a tight spot, unwilling to help me out or even have empathy for the situation I was in. Needed something printed for an interview and was told it would take an hour to print a paper. Another employee didn't know how to do anything anyone asked her. I'll never shop at another staples again because of this location. No wonder tour stores are closing everywhere. She should be looked at more closely as the face of your company staples. If you want to do paid work experience, I wouldn't recommend working at this Staples, especially if you're quiet or an introvert. In my experience, I was really uncomfortable. Most of the employees and managers weren't welcoming, so I was closed off immediately. They didn't acknowledge me much and seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. The manager Kat was irritated by me because of a situation that was out of my control and the majority of the time, I had to figure out what to do around the store in order to make myself useful. Looks like most of the complaints are coming from the printing dept. They need to retrain your employees on customer service skills even if it means smiling when they feel miserable at their job. I'm saying that because it was clearly visible that the associate wasn't so customer service oriented. This reflects on the quality of service. 0 stars! Never go here for printing services. I paid for SAME DAY PICK UP. I walked in at 1030am to get business cards and a poster done. I asked how soon will it be done and the girl said no later than 7:30pm that day. My receipt even says a 7:30pm stamp. I call around 6pm to get an update and some girl named Liz said it will be ready by tomorrow. I mentioned that I need the poster for a baby shower down the hill and I'll be leaving at 6am, so it won't work for me. They said I should have paid for express but for a SAME DAY service request?! That's ridiculous!!! How can staples offer same day when it's not even guaranteed?? I wasn't even warned about this potential delay when I paid. This needs to be said at checkout to every customer for any type of print job. I asked for the girls first and last name and said she will not give me her last name GIGGLING at my frustration?! (Review the call, corporate, to see that I'm not exaggerating) She knew I was super frustrated but to giggle on top of that??? She also said if I call corporate that they will know who Liz the cashier is. Y'all need some real training on customer service. You never giggle when a customer is mad. And to take it personal for when a customer is upset?? I didn't even call you names or say anything offensive?? Y'all are supposed to sympathize and be understanding. Make the customer feel heard and understood, even if you disagree otherwise. I get when customers offend you but other than that, no reason to giggle on someone's frustration. That's terrible.... And this is coming from someone who's done extensive customer service training. The days of decent customer service are long gone... SMDH What makes me most upset is the SAME DAY service, which is complete false marketing/advertisement. Horrible customer service. I accidentally left my ID on the printer, when I left and realized my error I immediately called the store to have it held. A store employee confirmed they had my ID and that it would be held for me. When I go pick it up they suddenly cannot find it and all the employees were very dismissive. It is a great store! I have purchased one of my new laptops, at this location. At the time, they had a clearance sale, and I purchased the new laptop with a discount. Definitely, a good store, located in the entrance of City of Victorville. The lines, during my visit, were not long. Furthermore, the staff working here were quite helpful, friendly, and polite.
