I will never return to this location again. I have never been treated so disrespectfully simply for asking a question. My husband went into Staples to return an Amazon package, and apparently the return process changed recently because they no longer provide receipts. When I came in to ask a few questions--since my app hadn't updated and I hadn't received an email confirmation yet--Vanessa immediately interrupted me and told me I needed to wait. When I tried to explain my concern about leaving without confirmation, she interrupted again and said, "I've already packed this box. I'm not going in it again," even though I never asked her to open anything. I was simply trying to avoid any issues with my return getting lost. After I told her I didn't need the attitude, she suddenly clicked something on the Amazon device and I finally received the confirmation email. She then pulled my items from under the desk she was standing at, not from the box she claimed was already packed. When I asked to speak with the manager, Matt, she continued interrupting while I was explaining the situation until he had to tell her to stop and that he would handle it. This was a completely unnecessary and disappointing interaction. Yeap 5 stars! Located in North Dale Mabry, close to Best Buy. The staff are super sweet and help you find what you're looking for. They have a great clearance section which I love, I can always find something useful. Recently I found a iPhone case for $1! OMG, I had to check and recheck the price! I ended up buying couple more than I needed but it's a great gift lol. They also have an amazing recyclable printer ink program (try saying that twice lol). It's super easy and completely free to sign up. In exchange of your old ink, you receive $$ off your new ink or whatever you fancy from the store. I like this store. It has wide isles and is organized product. I went in looking for a file storage box. While I was there, sil, looked at what they had for office chairs. I was surprised they had a nice selection of chairs. He found one he had been dreaming of on sale! He had been searching "other" stores for this type of chair but they were not available. Found the clearance rack, my favorite. To my surprise it was nice, neat, and organized. I found such good bargains too. The employees were all very helpful. SIL got the last chair in stock, which was the floor model, so he got it assembled without the assembly fee. The employee working the floor also set the chair aside for sil to get when we were done shopping it was saved for him. The cashier was friendly and efficient. The floor employee carried the chair out and loaded it in the truck for us as well. Great store! read more

I was here a couple of months ago and I sent the same exact package to the same exact address. A female employee helped me get it done without any issues. I don't need to print very frequently but I decided to get a laser printer for business. I purchased it online for in store pick up. I passed by 3 or 4 hours later and they had no idea what I was talking about. They finally figured out that I had indeed purchased it. I brought the printer home and was unable to connect it to my satisfaction. The app would not install properly. Sometimes it worked and others it didn't. After a couple of weeks I finally decided to return it. That's when I found out that staples gives you 14 days to return a printer. That is an unbelievably terrible customer service policy in today's day and age. I wish I had bought it from Amazon I would have had 2 months to see if I liked it. Very poor marks for not taking the printer back on the 15th day. This is officially the last time I ever use Staples. read more

It seems like all you need is a flash drive or a smart phone, you email it to the email mentioned on the machine and it prints it for you. Payment option, other settings are on the machine. The stores are laid out in a logical fashion, making it easy to find what you need without walking up and down the aisles calling out for someone who knows where they hide the Post-It notes. They have a huge selection of home office supplies plus a big copy & binding center within the store which is great when you need to print off last-minute copies of a presentation. This Staples is located off of Dale Mabry just before you get to the I-275 intersection. You'll find Staples tucked behind a McDonald's and located next to Best Buy. The staff is friendly, and the checkout process is fast. They're very good about opening additional cashiers if there seems to be a delay in checking out. Horrible experience. Tried to purchase a lighting charger with my card. The chip reader wouldn't work in their machine. Manager told me that he wouldn't run my mag strip or manually enter my card number even though I had multiple forms of ID to prove the card was mine. So, after my disastrous visit to Office Depot, I go to Staples. Completely different story here. I walk in, I am immediately asked if I need help with anything. I am escorted over to the copy station and someone looks for the electronic item I am seeking and brings it back to me at the copy station. While waiting at the copy station, another customer comes in and complains about office depot. I understand his frustration, and cannot believe that not one, but three people are helping me. I was in Florida taking care of my sister's estate and went to this location to buy supplies to organize her financial and legal documents. We also needed to shred a few bags of documents. When we called, we were told that we could shred documents at Staples. After driving there, we found out that customers cannot shred or watch sensitive documents being shredded. Later, I noticed the receipt for over $100 of office supplies was marked, "Duplicate Copy - Nit Valid for Refund". There was nothing unusual during my check out, so this is extremely suspicious. Is this location taking deliberate action to prevent customers from making returns? The attendant dagmar was incredibly rude and told me to use the copy machine myself. I had a major issue with an electronic and when Devon could no longer assist me he added that his store manager, Chris was a really nice guy and could possibly help me. 1 star only because I had to. Where do we start. Tech associate Anna Marie doesn't know where anything is at. Little snooty attitude and kind of rude. This place has turned into a slum. This associate is walking around with aqua and dark blue hair and a nose ring period I am a supervisor and if any of my employees showed up like this they would not work with customer. It's very obvious the management is lacking in this store period I have seen other associates with colored hair but it has been done Tastefully. Obviously this is somebody that needs attention. I will tell you the customer service skills are very lacking for this individual period conversation with her she's only working because her parents are making her do it. Most of the people in the store have the attitude like they just don't want to be here. With that attitude what makes you think that your customers well period I have had a few good Associates but for the most part the smiling and sincerity of greeting is very lacking. This is obviously very acceptable by the management. Self-expression is all good but it needs to be done on the employee's own time. If this is the representation the management allows does not say much for this company. I've been in here multiple times and the bathrooms are always a mess or lacki g toilet paper or even soap. I get it they cannot be constantly monitored. But when you were fully out of toilet paper or soap that is just an I don't care attitude. I just feel that if everybody spent as much time helping their customers as they do pulling out their cell phones and gossiping the customer service could be exceedingly outstanding. I ran into a Girl by the name of Tiana in a previous visit and she was like so rude and when she told me she was a supervisor and I just thought in my head how. This was my worst staples experience ever. I always go to a staples to print out my resume. Today I went in to print out a new hire packet for my job, and the guy told me it would be about a 30 minute wait while they tinkered on a xerox machine, or I could use the self service station. I went to the self service station, got it all set up, and since I only had cash they wanted me to load a staples card with how much I thought I would need at, according to this guy, 49 cents a page... ummm never have I ever had to do this at staples before!! I said you know what, I'll make it easy for you and go to the other staples.. where I printed 32 pages, paid cash $5.12, and an employee actually made it hassle free by printing it for me, which btw is how it always goes at Staples!! If I could give this store a negative star I would. My wife and I went to the store yesterday to purchase several items. My brother had just passed away and we've been trying to get his affairs in order. We WERE going to buy a paper shredder & some temporary file boxes amongst other things to take back to his office and get it in order. Before leaving we asked a stock person if we could get two or three boxes she was about to throw out to pack up some things. She said we could, and while getting them another male employee came by and told us loudly and rudely that we couldn't. He said "if you want boxes we sell them, we don't give them away". I told him the other employee said it was ok, to which he replied " no, we sell boxes and you can't have any". Nice job Staples, by my calculations your employee blew at least a couple of hundred dollars in sales.....because he felt the need to assert what little authority he has?
