Greetings to all, l come to this location regularly, so this review is based upon my combined experiences; let's see how it went: Parking for this location is shared with the surrounding business in the same location; this works well for this location. Inside this location was a modestly lit atmosphere; my feelings are that it could use some brighter lighting to provide a better buying experience. The service was nice and friendly, But the Main thing that stood was the fact that there were Not Enough Workers to Run the Business; more workers can make a difference. The values are comparable to any other establishment of the same sort. Bottom Line; more workers could have more positive impact on everything. read more

I had a disappointing experience here. I had a return for Gap that was set up through "Happy Returns" I walked into the store and there is zero signage referencing Happy Returns, and there were no cashiers at the registers to ask. I saw signs for "Amazon Returns", so I hopped in that line. There were 3 or 4 people ahead of me, and one of them seemed like she was returning half of the stuff sold on Amazon. 15-20 minutes later, I finally get to the counter and I'm told "Oh, Happy Returns are over there at the Printing section at the other end of the store." Needless to say, I was frustrated that I just wasted all that time in the wrong line. If you're going to offer a service, at the very least, have some kind of signage directing people where to go. read more

Staples has somehow turned Amazon returns, the one service that should be brain dead simple, into an endurance event. Amazon returns are basically the one thing keeping these stores relevant. Came here for my pre-TSA appt, and the nice woman walked me through the process. It only took about five minutes to enter all of my info and take my fingerprints. I had already paid online when making the appt. so that definitely made the process faster. Definitely recommend to anyone in a similar boat if you want it done fast and with no line. read more

Came in to request pricing for textbook binding. Was told it would take 3 days. Before I even agreed to use their service, the middle aged lady took my BRAND NEW textbook, split and folded it down the middle all the way back to "explain" it would need to be cut in 2 and then proceeded to look up the price for me. That's entirely unnecessary!!! Why are we messing with people's items prior to service? What if I had decided not to go with their service? Then I asked if they include a clear cover. She responded right away with "we don't have your size." She went to the side anyway to grab the first plastic cover and of course it fit. She even moved it around and it obviously still fit. She then told me she "didn't see a point in these" so I should not get them. Yeah absolutely not. Overall horrible experience to begin with. Very convenient location for Amazon drop offs. The lines can be long at times and it's always just one person working the register. I wish they'd brush up a little more on their customer service. But the best thing about this location is they have now partnered with party city! read more

My company has a Staples Advantage and we needed to order something that to be delivered the same day. Thankfully, we were able to order the product and pick it up in store. When I arrived there was some confusion as to what kind of customers I was and where I was to pick upo the order. Evidently, Staple Advantage customers are different than customers who simply order online to pick up in store. Anyway, this happened twice and both times there was a manager/supervisor named "Rose" who helped me out. She was great and I would have been lost without her. It was Rose to the rescue! Went into Staples to do an Amazon order return. There was a phenomenal staff by name of Christian. While I was standing in line I noticed that he was doing multiple jobs and so efficient. The line went by quickly and all of us in line were so impressed by his quickness and hard work. read more

He's super knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer questions without making you feel rushed. He really knows his stuff. Rose, the store manager, has created such a positive environment. The team is consistently friendly and helpful, and that clearly reflects her leadership. You can tell she sets the tone and supports her staff in a really genuine way. I started to come for a proper place to recycle ink. I keep coming back for the random finds and sales. The prices can be high, but if you look and are patient you can find amazing deals. I got a fantastic travel coffee cup for like $6 once. My only complaint is their lack of staff sometimes. Waiting for a free member to come help or a long line isn't that uncommon. But they're usually pretty nice. read more

The turnover rate for employees is as high as ever, as high as their prices. I noticed there's been a steady increase in pricing so I wait for deals or discounts through their whittled down rewards program. Still, it's nice to now be able to recycle ink without having to buy ink to do so. As turnover is high, the type of employee you end up interacting with is a toss up. I had one make a fuss about the batteries I recycled, taped up per specifications, and wouldn't take one because it had some rust from the electronic it was in. So what do they expect me to do with it if they won't recycle it? I try to avoid in store to keep my blood pressure down (read my past reviews and you'll know why). Still, the other few times I've been here lately have been a marked improvement with the new employees, but maybe that's because I know how to bypass most nonsense now when they are lost. Online order pick up can take a while so try to come during lunch instead of the evening. read more

I went o today December 18 at 11:30 am I don't know her name but she's always mad or something but today I had to ask her about my order and she didn't even ask for my name,number order or phone number she just said that they are very busy and that my order is not ready! I ordered 1 week ago it supposed to be ready by December 15 but she didn't even check she just refused to help and check!! Please hire people that really want to help and actually work ! As always, the service at Staples is amazing. I always use their copying/printing service. As a teacher, my budget is limited, and they provide such an excellent quality for a very reasonable price. The staff overall is very polite. I feel bad for them because the store has too much to offer vs. the amount of staff they have. What's the point of offering a service if it's unstaffed? And when there is staff, it's usually one person bouncing back from the register to Amazon returns to making balloons at their Party City kiosk. This has made me order products online from other retailers just so I can avoid going into that store to wait for 10's of minutes to be helped. The print and copy center seems to be the bright spot in that store, it's always staffed and minimal wait times. read more

I am submitting this review to acknowledge a particular employee. Theresa in UPS returns,deserves to be recognized. After dealing with some returns,she has the answers. She isnt always a smiley woman,but I go in now first ask her how she is doing, then she blossoms. If I can give no stars I would. Walked in asking for a glue gun. I stand in line, I see this employee help the customer Infront of me. As that customer leaves, she walks away to help another customer leaving me standing. I walk away, and she yells asking me " Do I need something?" She replies we don't carry that. Went to return something I didnt need this morning. Girl at cashier was and always is a pleasure. She had to call manager for an override, and that manager may have been the rudest and least professional manager I have ever dealt with. To me, but even more to her staff. She had zero sense of kindness or professionalism, and barked across the store at the cashier as if she was inconvenienced, and acted like I wasnt there while interrogating the cashier about my return. This manager was a latina woman with glasses. There is usually a very sweet lady during the kid afternoons that is manager, whos name I also never got but i assume to be filipino. She is awesome. I'm really not sure here. I stopped in to buy a filing cabinet for my new office. I wanted one at The Container Store, but they were exceptionally overpriced. I'm truly not surprised they are going into bankruptcy proceedings. Ok...back to Staples on Noor Ave. I quickly found the one I was looking for (I did a little pre-shopping on my phone in the parking lot to make sure I knew the features compared to other models. I also quickly found the other items I was looking for. The truly surprising thing is that they had the item at all. Most places don't stock that kind or item because it's specific and not many applications warrant it. The item was a 10' HDMI cable capable of 4K bandwidth. Most in-stock items are 6'. But they had it. My real issue comes when I went to check out. First, I felt sorry for the cashier. It looked like I was his first customer of the day (or coming back from a break) and I wasn't easy on him. I told him how unhappy I was to have to wait like this and under these circumstances. I'm usually OK waiting when it's not due to mismanagement. What happened was this. He called to the back to have someone bring out the filing cabinet and he was blown off. I think a manager (I couldn't tell because she never introduced herself) yelled from about 25 feet away and in front of about 15 people, "Tell him to stand to the side and help everyone else in the line. I'll go get it when I'm finished here." The 15 people were in her line. I understand that she had people already in her line, so it would not have been fair to them for her to leave and have them then wait on me. But...they weren't the only two employees in the store and since there was a second cashier, HE could have gone and gotten it in the first place. My secondary argument here is that the fact that the employees were blowing off the cashier, the manager could have gotten on the radio and told someone to make themselves available to assist. In the end, I waited 22 minutes for her to bring it out. She then helped me bring it to my car and she was polite and professional. Overall, the store has a great selection, it was fairly clean and the only other issue I had was that it didn't have a customer restroom. read more

Terribly understaffed. One poor customer had to wait almost 5 minutes at the register as the two employees on the floor were taking amazon returns and helping someone with a passport photo. Also in-store pickup dates for online orders are NOT accurate. Ordered a few paint pens that were supposedly out for delivery to the store on a specific date and after I get there at the end of the day, the employee tells me to check tomorrow. I went there the other day to send out a UPS package and I forgot the guys name, but he was a white guy with glasses and as we were filling out The information where to send the package and everything he said to me hey, I can save you some money on this shipment and then I was like oh really how he was like well if you scan this QR code and fill something out you can get so-and-so percent off today so I was like OK sure so as I was filling it out, he asked me again. Do you have another email address and I was like oh yeah I replied back. I just gave you my junkie one for the percentage of for the QR code and then you reply back hey bro, help a brother out let's use the other email too and then he grabbed my phone for me because I couldn't seem to get the QR code and then a feeling kind of hit me like what is he doing on my phone? I saw his fingers like moving on my screen. I took my phone back and I was like what are you doing like oh you're you're not feeling out right I'm just hoping I was like dude you can't just take someone else's phone and start filling out stuff friendly without any type of consent or something. He didn't even tell me what he was doing. He just straight up to start filling stuff out on my phone after I took my phone back his demeanor completely changed. He still insisted on the QR code and I told him I'm good. I met the worst cashier ever in the 10 years I been shopping here. Chris, supposedly the manager on duty, was clearly miserable working there and made sure his customers were as miserable as him. He was argumentative, didn't assist customers to find their products, and did not honor the advertised promotional price even when presented with the ad. This is why so many Staples go out of business and everyone shops online. I wonder where they'll work when this store closes as well? read more

Walked in to ask about the service I requested to be met with "oh I'm working on it now" ok but what's the ETA, ignores my question until I ask again before going uhm an hour. Like it's fine that you're just starting on it but if I'm here, just tell me the ETA. Why waste both of our time after you didn't greet or provide. Went to ask a few questions & Jessica at tech help was ignoring me even when I was the only person standing in line. While no additional customers were there. She has an AirPod in her ear in addition to an earpiece. She couldn't hear me asking for help multiple times. Very unprofessional. I was waiting there forever saying excuse me while she was listening to music. Today I had a very frustrating experience at this Staples location while trying to return Amazon items. First, despite a line of customers, there was no dedicated staff member available to handle Amazon returns, so I waited over 20 minutes in the huge line. When I finally got to the counter, I scanned the first item's barcode successfully. The second item required a different return location. While I was actively searching my Amazon account on my phone for the third item barcode, the employee simply moved on to the next customer in line. When I found the barcode and pointed out I was still being served, he told me I had to go to the back of the line again. I reminded him I had already waited, and his only response was that "everyone else is also waiting in this line." The level of disrespect was shocking. I asked to speak to the manager about the process and his conduct, and he just waved at me with a smile saying that he was the manager. Reading the reviews from other people, I see that I'm not the only one being treated bad. This gentleman (African American dude) tried to make me feel bad returning stuff for Amazon. Heck, it's not his job to care where I shop! He got the nerve to tell me that I should shop elsewhere because I keep coming back here to return stuff from Amazon. I'm not one to leave a bad review usually, but I feel that I must share my latest terrible experience with Staples corporate. On June 2024, I tried to make a purchase online due their free shipping and school supplies sales. After a couple of attempts with different credit cards, they cancelled my order for no reason. The same thing happened a couple of months prior when I tried making a purchase online. I thought they might have had a system hiccup back then and/or my credit card didn't work. However, in June, after trying to purchase with different items and various credit card, I was unsuccessful again. When I called to ask for help in the corporate office, I was told that I couldn't make purchases online with zero explanation. The person on the phone wouldn't tell me if it was a credit card issue or names/addresses not matching up, or anything. They only said that the system couldn't verify with the information I provided and that was that. When I asked to talk to a manager, they said they can have a manager call me, but stated that the manager will have the same response. Two days later, someone by the name of Lynn Thompson called me. She said that she spoke for the CEO of Staples and told me that their internal system couldn't verify my information (the information I provided to make purchases online and to ship to my home). I asked if there's anything else she can do. The only thing she said that I can only make purchases in store and not online. I mentioned that the reason we make online purchases, it's for the convenience. If I could make the purchases in store, I would've. She wouldn't provide any details on why I was rejected from the online site or give any other solutions so I can make the purchase online. When I mentioned that it seems that they don't care about my business, Lynn responded with "I'm sorry to have lost your business" in a stoic tone. This experience made me feel that I was NOT a valued customer at Staples. They wouldn't tell me how to fix the problem and there was nothing they could do. They don't even care about losing my business. So much for buying things at Staples. I would make my purchase elsewhere like Office Depot or Amazon. I've tried Office Depot's customer service for both personal and corporate. It's not ideal, but I've never had them, or any other company, completely rejecting finding a solution to help a customer. read more

I've been coming to this Staples location since my childhood. It's a good place to get all of your paper and office supply needs. Now, you can come here for quick and convenient returns for certain online retailers. They will even do free battery recycling for you. Customer service is a little lackluster but I don't have high expectations so it's fitting to what I would expect. read more
