All of the 1 star reviews for their multitude of reasons are correct. This is hands down the worst Staples location in the entire state of New Hampshire and I really wish I had researched it better before getting a virtual address here. They can NEVER find my mail. It's insane. The girl told me today, "I don't know sometimes they just put it in the wrong folder". What. Do better or don't call yourselves a part of a professional chain of stores. This review is solely for the copy and print center.... They need to fix their operations or just close down that whole raggedy department. read more

Under staffed and unable to think outside the box lead to your store losing a $300+ sale. We were in Saturday afternoon wanting to buy a desk and chair. We wondered around the inside of the store looking for help. Got in line at the check out to ask for help. There were 2 cashiers going. We were told no one could help us until there was no one left standing in line to check out. Uh? We stood in and waited our turn. Made no sense. My husband will never set foot back in. I know they were following policy and can even see if their was only 1 cashier but with 2 he should have been able to give us the help we needed. Too bad. read more

I went here a couple of times for purchasing and returning. Purchasing is not an issue since I don't even have to look at cashier's grumpy face. I just pay and get out.. The problem happens when I tried to return the item. The girl works at the register refunded for wrong item. She did not even check what kind of item it was. I was supposed to get refund for 2 inch binder (which was clearly stated in the receipt), but she refunded for 1 inch binder. So I tried to go back to her again, but line was long and she was just trying so hard to be unhappy. Manager came over and assigned another girl to take care of this, but she was not that bright or enthusiastic. I finally got the correct refund back. However, I had to go through three different people to get $11 refund. Well... This is not the first time it happened. Similar thing happened in some other times. My advice is that: If you want to return or exchange something, ask manager first. I don't think the cashier is trained in any ways. read more

From the few times I have been here, I have been satisfied. This Staples is located along the Daniel Webster Highway, which, in case you hadn't noticed, also contains about everything under the Sun. Given the competition that is so close, I still love going to Staples over the rest of the area. Everytime I have been in here, it has been quiet. Unlike the hustling and bustling Best Buy, there are no pushy sales people giving reading the corporate chain message. I have been able to take my time to look around, without anyone else brushing up against me. Staples may not have the size and variety of other stores, but when it comes to a shopping experience, Staples takes the prize. Even if I am dealt a more limited selection, I just feel better walking into a Staples as opposed to another store. read more

I had a 25% off a single item Staples coupon that I wanted to use. It was only valid for 1 day on 11/26 and it had to be used in the store. I drove through a snowstorm from Lowell to Nashua to use the coupon. I didn't realize that the item I wanted was only available online. I asked a man, who seemed to be the store manager (big & bald), if I could purchase it in the store so that I could use the coupon and he told me, "No," due to strict corporate policy. He was wise and said I was like the "600th" person to ask him that question. I asked him if there was anything that he could do for me since I just drove through a snowstorm to use this coupon and again he said, "No." I also had a birthday gift that I wanted to return, which I had the receipt for. He told me that since my friend purchased it online, I couldn't return it because I needed her credit card? Needless to say, I left the store because he sent my blood pressure through the roof. I told him that I was going to write a bad review about him on yelp to which he replied, "Go ahead." On my way home, I called the Chelmsford store and asked if they could do everything for me, to which they replied, "Yes." Twenty minutes later, after leaving the Nashua store, I was able to return my gift for a store credit, which I used to purchase an online item in the store at 25% off. The sales rep, not sure if he was the store manager, actually overrode the price because the coupon couldn't be used for online items. He also reprinted my receipt in the back because my friend had cut the price out the paper so that I wouldn't see how much she paid for it. Plus, it's being shipped to my house for free! This sales rep went out of his way to help me and I never told him about my experience at the Nashua store. He made me very happy :) Conclusion: The guy at the Nashua store needs to go. His customer service sucks. And Staples wonders why they closed two stores in my area?? I knew the guy in the Nashua store was full of it. Big chain stores can usually can accommodate a customer on price. I will never go back to that store. read more

My iPhone went through the washing machine (full cycle). I decided to try the phone drying system they have here since they do not charge you if it does not work anyway. If it does work, it is $70. They dried out my phone which took about 40 minutes and it turned back on and has been working since. Literally a MIRACLE. I highly suggest going here if you have the same problem. read more

This Staples is a Technology Center, specializing in computers, netbooks, tablets, etc... However, there never seems to be anybody there when I have a question. I actually looked up something on Staples.com on one of the computers on display. The irony of going to their store just to shop online is not lost on me. (Perhaps Yelp will open a physical office where people can go to and verbally rate websites, but I digress) The store is laid out in the same manner as all of them. Paper on the right. Phones, cameras, cables,etc... on the left. The prices are as good as any other physical location office supply store (if you can find another one, and No, a price club doesn't count). The location is pretty easy to get to, with easy highway access. But if that's what you're looking for, just get the Staples App and save the aggrivation. read more

Bought a 241xl ink cartridge here. Sign said $29.99 and there were 7 on the peg. Got to register and it rang up $31.99. I told the guy that the shelf said $29.99. He whipped out his cell and looked it up and said "nope, $31.99". I reluctantly said ok and then told him he needs to change the sign and he said "yup". He should have honored the incorrect price. Haven't had a bad experience here, their prices are just higher than going to bestbuy for computers or other electronics.

Nothing special here- pretty run of the mill Staples. They have their own lot with plenty of parking.

As far as knowledge of products and sincere and consistent helpfulness goes, Austin and Brittney (in the printing department) are two of the finest people you could hope to come in contact with. My print project had challenges, and they were indefatigable in their efforts to get the issues resolved. I can't speak for other employees in the print department, but I think I could say, unequivocally, that if you have printing needs (and ask for one of these two), you will not be disappointed in the results of the project and your experience in dealing with them. The WORST customer service! Sent in an online order Friday afternoon, two portrait presentations that I needed for work on Monday morning. Turns out I threw them a curve ball when I ordered tab dividers with printing on them. No one on the weekend crew could figure out how to print on the tabs. Apparently, Richie, the copy/print manager, is the ONLY one who knows how to do this. They could have maybe called Richie to have him run through the steps over the phone maybe, or maybe train the crew?... but no. I had a 3pm pick up time scheduled for Saturday. So I go in to pick it up and I get the news it's not done and can't be done until Richie is back on Monday. WHAT?! I'll give it to them that they had tried calling me, but it was my work number on the account. Too bad they didn't try to think of going to the next step and maybe emailing, because i would have actually seen that. So anyway, the guy helping me, Kevin, was a bit defensive... he repeated multiple times about how they tried calling me. I wasn't even mad at this point, so I was still being friendly. Not sure why he was being so defensive. Like I said above, all he initially offered me was that they'd start the job on Monday. Eventually I asked if anyone other shops could do it. So THEN he offered to transfer the job to another staples. Ok, great. Lets do that. He says this new Staples store will call me if they have any questions. Apparently Kevin forgot they only have my work number. So again, I had to ask him for a bit of customer service. I asked if the new store could please call my cell phone. He said, "yeah, you can call them and give it to them." How about the customer shouldn't have to do the leg work. I'm paying over $70 for two bundles of PAPER and I'm told that I need to do the work?? No. So I asked if he could please pass along the number to them. He took my number and said ok. So then it's Sunday. I called the other store to see if it's ready. They couldn't find it. So I called the original store. This time I get a guy named Andrew who has even less customer service skills than Kevin. He just gives me a store about how the order was emailed to the new store the previous day and explains that it's really hard to transfer an order because they have to delete the original and make a new one because the order number is tied to the store... like i"m supposed to feel bad for them?? I'm paying 70 bucks for this! Do your job! I just want to track down my order. Help me. So he says he'll call Kevin at home at double check on what happened the previous day. It's 5:30 at this time. They close at 6:00. Andrew says he'll call me back in a couple minutes. Well then it's 5:55 and I haven't heard anything. So I call Andrew. He explains that he called the other store to try to track down the order, he was put on hold and no one ever came back. Then he says he tried calling back a couple more times, but it was 5:40 by then and they close at 6:00 so no one was picking up. Is that really your answer?? SO I explain to him, that he could have kept trying, or email them, or at least call me back to let me know. I said to him, just like I had to follow up with him, he should have taken initiative to follow up as well. He said he was just about to call me. But i don't know how believe-able that is, since apparently Andrew is claiming that staples employees stop working 20 minutes before the store closes... So Andrew and I hang up. It's not 6:00 on the nose. I call the other store and it's a miracle - they pick up! The lady is very nice and personable. She eventually finds my order and now we're good. Never doing business with any staples again. They're untrained in both the actual skills needed to work the copy and print department, and when they inevitably fail, they have ZERO customer service to smooth it over. NEVER make a customer do any leg work, especially when the customer has already been inconvenienced. This was an important print job for work... this wasn't silly birthday invites or something. Take your jobs seriously, or don't work there. Or don't offer professional services! read more

Went staples on dw highway. Got pads of paper for $7.50. Looked at all the calanders. They had a cubicle, all 4 sides had calanders. Some with animals, people, everything you could imagine. No where was a price. So I asked an employee where are the bigger calanders. He showed me where they were, tucked in a corner. The super large calanders were on the bottom, price on the bottom was $14.99. So I figured 7.50 bucks for the paper and 15.00 bucks for the calander. That around 22-23 bucks for both. When i got to the register, he said that will be $38.89 please. I asked him what was the price on the calander? He said $31.39. I told him that was on the bottom shelf and the price was listed as $14.99. Told him to go check the price. Told him I would go down with him. He did not want to check the price listed. Instead he changed the price on the register from $31.39 to $14.99. Would I go back to staples, not in a life time. Anybody that buys there, pay attention to the price on the self before you bring it to the register. read more

So by the time you try your product and realize that it is below par and a total piece of crap, it is past the 14 days and you can no longer return it unless you buy the extended warranty . Shame on you. Anyone that buys an electronic item from this company is out of their mind. I now own a piece of junk that I paid $90 bucks for that didn't last 3 weeks. No wonder why this company is closing locations. In my opinion it should close them all. I would have been better off going to a Walmart or a kmart at least they give you 30 days. I hope people see this and save themselves some money. I just ordered a new one from HSN . They have an awesome return policy and stand behind their products. Went in to have the store price match Amazon. I had a coupon from staples on 1 item and was going to use it. The coupon was not defining that this cannot be done. I have also done this at other Staples store in Nashua. I was told this cannot be done. So why would I waste my time trying to price match which is a hassle to do anyway, when I could have simply ordered the item from Amazon. Store manager did not even try to please the customer. I needed to send a fax to Lawrence, MA just 5 pages, because I brought my own coversheet. The cost was over $11. The time for transmission was under 2 minutes. The equipment is old, and I sent the fax myself. Do not use Staples to send faxes, they are over priced. read more
