Came in around 2:30PM to get just 1 item and go. Why is the cashier taking more than 20 minutes with 1 customer? Like she's doing a full service with the client. Like you need to scan and go. The only complaint I have is how dirty the rug is in the area of the fax machines are I don't think they ever, ever vacuum. I been in there several times since the Home Depot closed. Don't the employees see this!!!! If this can be address. Someone from corporate office needs to make a popup visit. read more

I'm in the store now. I'm trying to return an item through UPS. There are two young ladies ahead of everyone. They have over 40 separate returns. They have so many boxes that it takes up space for three people. The line is back to the entrance. I asked one of the workers here if they could allow someone else to check out some of us. I was told by said worker that there is only one computer that is dedicated to UPS. And, they are training someone new. I think that is absolutely ridiculous. All these people are standing in line to pick up or drop off. And have been in this line for at least thirty minutes. While they allow two ladies to return a boat load of Amazon packages. I think it would be nice if there were more than one devices for UPS at this location. It appears the volume here calls for it. Especially at this time of day. It is now almost 5pm. I've been here since 4:15pm. So better Staples. read more

Parking was convenient and that was about it. While shopping around, I didn't receive help, which was ok at first. Then, when I did start to receive help, I was told to "buy something normal" when I wanted ergonomic supplies. The conversation about me buying expensive and not "normal" items went on for a while. How did we even get here? After defending my decision and education about ergonomics over and over, I finally was able to check out. That process was very lengthy. There was confusion about setting up the point system. There was a customer trying to ask for help, nearby and complaining about not having time to wait. The manager began to tell the associate helping me to STOP checking me out so he can go answer and guide the OTHER customer. I had already been waiting and started the process. I had to ask them to stop doing that and to work in order of who was being served first. They told me that customer is busy and has to leave soon. They determined her being vocal about her urgency was more important than my checking out even though I was first and already started. I didn't allow that to happen, but this is the longest and most dragged out process for buying two items! read more

Maricela is the BEST! Come to this Staples store to see her! I am so pleased and grateful today because of the EXCEPTIONAL service I received from Maricela at the Lanham Staples store! She is absolutely AMAZING and her customer service skills are TOP NOTCH! I am school teacher and Staples Rewards customer. I came into the store today with printed coupons and she stopped and took the time to help me download the app! She even took the time to show how the Reward App works! It is so beneficial for me as a teacher and business owner. She showed me all the great deals and rewards I can receive! I didn't know the app was this great! It will change my shopping experience to make it easier and more affordable. I will definitely return to this Staples for all my shopping needs! read more

So, I came to this store and found out that they rely don't have any of it. That considers I'm being lied by its system. I'm disappointed that I cannot take my energy and time back. Just don't. Not if you need services e.g copy, print. On any given day the new digital machines don't work. Unfortunately no one in the store cares. There's no alternative thinking, no back up plan. No extra employees to deal with the backup. They can't help the machines, but they could try to understand the frustration of their customers & try to help. read more

The African American men in the print center, are not helpful at all. They are VERY lazy!! They turn there backs on the customers, take there time coming in contact with the customer, when there not doing anything. This is just POOR Customer Service. read more

I want to commend a young man working at the printing service center he was working by him self during the time I visited the store on 02/18/19 from 6 pm-7:30 pm. I did not get his name but he was extremely helpful he was working this area all by him self but managed to help every one with their business needs passport photos, printing inquiries, printing portrait pictures while assisting us doing our business cards. He maintained a positive attitude at all times never hesitated or show he was overwhelmed with the incoming flow of customer which was a lot each with different needs to this Department. It is so nice to find employees that are willing to help and demonstrate that your business matters and takes the time to make it a personalized experience with such professionalism at all times Kudos to him. This place is HORRIBLE!! Ordered same day cards which were printed single sided instead of double sided. And then it took her 10 minutes to tell me they were wrong. Waste of time and Horrible Service. I really relied on the same day service! HORRIBLE!!! read more

If I could give this store a negative rating, I would. My mother patronized this location yesterday evening and was treated so poorly by two of your employees in the copy center, one of them being Tyler. She is a 66 year old woman! Tyler got frustrated because he didn't know how to use the print center. When he couldn't figure out how to correctly operate the equipment, he shoved papers at her while stating "you can do this yourself!" When my mother asked him to notify the manager he said, "You can get her yourself, I'm not gonna spoon feed you." Are you serious!! Spoon feed her...as if she's a child. Tyler needs some serious customer service training. Not to mention, his supervisor was standing right there and witnessed the entire ordeal and said nothing...absolutely NOTHING!! What kind of manager doesn't manage? Please assist these staff members with customer service/management training. My mother has been patronizing Staples for over 20 years. Imagine someone speaking to your mother or grandmother this way. I am so disappointed by this establishment. read more
