I went there to return an Amazon package and looked around for overhead signs pointing to the return area. I saw a smallish sign with Happy Returns and the Amazon swish on it. I stood under the sign and waited. I called out for help and a woman breezed by and sort of helped. She pointed toward a sign near the front door that I hadn't seen. My response was you guys are in the sign business I expected better signage. As I walked to the better sign I heard her make a remark to one of her coworkers about me. Took invitation design to Staples at Hwy 441, Lady Lake, Fl. Was shown preview of what final invite would look like. When I picked them up, part of the invite was not printed on the page. It was like they enlarged the design. Salesperson told me that it was a function of the design. As I looked through all the invites, the "off printing" wasn't consistent. Salesperson then said, "oh, we can redo." When I went back to pick up the redo, the right border was larger than the left border. Salesperson told me, "this is easily fixable. I can cut off some from the right." I asked if anyone had looked at these when printed especially since it was a redo. She told me that 2 people had. I asked her then if it is so easily fixable, why wasn't it fixed? She only said again that it is easily fixable. I was out of time and wouldn't have let her do anything to the invites. I left with the off center invite. Shame on you Staples! I will take my printing elsewhere in the future. read more

I had a return to make at this location and I have NEVER been treated so poorly for no reason. The girl behind the counter asked me if I had a return and I said yes then she proceeded to ask me what kind of return. I don't normally do returns at Staples so I wasn't sure what she meant so I told her where it was from, and she continued to yell at me from behind the printing area, was it express or whatever else she said to which I replied I'm not sure maybe you could help me. She very rudely looked at my phone and said OK. Well it's express. I said well thank you very much for helping me printed my coupon which I may add I would never ever ever shop in this store, when I asked her what her name was, she told me I didn't tell you my name. Proceeded to ask a guy behind the counter with a name tag on of Tim and she shouted to him don't tell her my name.. and when I asked him, he told me I'm not telling you her name. At this point, I am like just cracking up because these two can't figure out that someone can place who they are by when they were working? That's assuming they care. read more

Being retired and owning an Office Equipment and Commercial Stationary t business for over 50 years I am saddened by the way these big box stores do business. I needed 4 sheets laminated. Salesclerk says, " Do you want these today or tomorrow?" What is the difference I say. The price she says. More money for today and less for tomorrow she says. What a load of crap. So while visiting Mother in the land of the blue hairs, she needed a chair for her computer. So for this visit I was picking up an inexpensive office chair. Found the chairs in the back, staff helped me confirm a sales price and got me the box and away we went. Good shopping experience. read more

OK, just got off the phone with manager Eric. Had to wait 5 minutes on hold though. I purchased some (2) avery labels, shelf said 7.99. Got to register and didn't pay any attention to the price until I got home. 12.99, with a rebate, was the reality. I hate rebates because they are never worth the time to get them. So I go on line and fill out all of the forms and it says, you are eligible for one $5 rebate. Huh? What about the sign on the shelf that says $7.99 each. So now I have to investigate with the store manager. Eric was really nice and said come on back and I will return and resell the items at the $7.99 price. I am not doing that because it was not his fault, this was Avery's fault. So, kudos to Eric. A $5 rebate is still a good deal. read more

Honestly, I have a hard time finding many differences between Staples locations in general. I visited this location to pick up some organizational stuff for my desk. The selection of this store was more geared towards electronics than actual office supplies. I was also a little dissatisfied with the prices. A little too expensive for products I could find anywhere else for a better price. read more

Easily one of the more incompetent stores I have ever been in. Asked copy center associate to cut some paper for me which takes her two seconds to literally accomplish while she was sitting there doodling on a piece of paper. Told me to drop it off. I even offered to cut it myself due to her sheer incompetence and was denied. This store has been nothing but trouble since it opened. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Good luck getting any help without waiting 20 minutes. Customer had a question and he waited for 20 minutes. Fortunately I had a previous background in office supplies so I decided to help him with his question. No thanks to the employees who still didn't show up 10 minutes after I helped him. I am a big fan of Staples in general - online and its many store locations. Today I have reason to be singing the praises of the Lady Lake, Florida, store. Thank goodness for their tech support desk! I arrived with a computer that looked like it had been pretty much wiped clean. I needed to see if there was anything that I could do before it just stopped working altogether. Cliff Garcia got right to work and managed to get access to the hidden files, and I was able to back up everything that I had been working so hard on for the past few days (since my last backup). Thank you SOOO much Cliff! I know that this store doesn't get as much appreciation as it deserves being in the midst of The Villages, so I want everyone to know how hard the people at this location work and how much I, for one, truly appreciate that they are there for us! read more

Generally, this location is pretty helpful, but last week when I was there, the lines were out of control! And every line - copies, printing, check out was the same - too long! And no one was doing anything about it. This is not acceptable. This location should be scheduling team members to work based on the customer flow. read more

I now understand the bad reviews. After waiting an unacceptable amount of time to be helped the not so nice girl working the copy center told me it would be over 24 hours to have a 40 page document (that I brought in printed) spiral bound. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for this same service elsewhere. Needless to say I walked out. read more
