Today is the first time in a long time that I have had such an amazing experience at Staples in Keizer OR In over several years. Today, Jessica was the clerk at the register. She was so energetic , pleasant and totally awesome with the service she provided us. Many years ago Staples use to be very welcoming and helpful and for some reason whether new management or staff I don't know what happened but it just always seemed like a mediocre response to customers. Jessica made sure we knew about the extra rewards we could earn as a regular staples rewards customer. She price matched our item with what was online to save me money. By the time we walked out of the store all I could say was WOW where did they find her at. Thank you Jessica for being so awesome and helpful and you made my day. We will start going back to staples just so in hopes we will get her again as our clerk at checkout. read more

Incredibly poor service. I went to Keizer Staples for TSA Pre-check, paid my $78.00, and after some 74 days, I have heard nothing. I called TSA. They tell me that the fingerprints didn't come through. Of course, no one from Staples or TSA could be bothered to notify me about this. A waste of time and money! read more

Normally I haven't had an issue with this place, but today sealed the deal. I've been having issues with my gift card both in the store and online. I tried using it to purchase some printer ink that I was in need of, but it wasn't until I got to the register that I found out that my gift card wasn't working. I ended up having to call several numbers to get to speak to a person, only to find out that they were having an issue with their gift cards and it should be fixed 'in a few days'. It was annoying, but hey things happen. I figured I'd wait a while and try it again. Today, however, I tried to buy a new PC that I'm in need of, but once I got to the 'checkout' option, it popped up telling me that my gift card wasn't working. This was online, of course, which I thought was odd. The little message that came up mentioned that I could try buying it in the store, but of course, the computer I was hoping to get wasn't available in this location. What am I supposed to do? I ended up calling the store and spoke with a gentleman on the phone (I can't remember his name), who was nothing short of condescending and rude. "Did it say to call this store specifically?' I remember him asking in a dubious tone. Of course not, dude. I'm calling for help. Why else would I put up with your attitude? Minutes later and he tells me that I should just take my business elsewhere, considering they don't have the computer in the store. Frustrated and annoyed, I called Staples call center, only to be told that they were still having issues with their gift cards online and 'don't know when it'll be fixed'. Which is just....great. Long story short - do yourself a favor and save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. Both Fry's and Best Buy are far better businesses and actually care about their customers. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get cash for this gift card and go to Fry's. Edit #1 since I can't respond to Alicia's message - That's the problem. That's the number I've contacted several times to figure out what's going on with the gift cards and am told that there's a problem. No idea when it might be fixed, no update on how to alleviate the problem. I'm just stuck with a gift card I can't use. read more

I am so happy to have a Staples in out community. They always have the ink cartridges for my printer. The personnel that work there are very nice and helpful. I also really like the option of being able to order online and have it delivered the next day to my front door. Love Staples!!! read more

I patiently waited inline to do a return at, what appeared to be, Customer Service (there was a Big sign that said Customer Service on the wall). A cashier was finishing a transaction on the register to the right of Customer Service. When the transaction was over I expected her to then process my return. There was a customer that went to the checkout line after I had been waiting. The cashier then tells me "returns are processed through the checkout lines and I needed to go through the line". I asked her what the Customer Service line was for. Her reply "I don't know". The cashier's name was Nikki. I am the primary purchasing agent for the 3 construction companies I work for. This bad experience has made me rethink where we want to spend our purchasing dollars. My complaint will not end at this survey. I plan on e-mailing the Staples corporate office, telling other company employees of my experience and placing a bad review on Yelp and Google. My recommendation is for "Nikki" to read my complaint and receive proper customer service training. read more

I've been coming to Staples for my printing needs with no problems before, but for some reason today the girl at the print station was horrible and condescending! I am a graphic designer so I understand the rules of preparing a file before it is printed. I came in to have business cards printed. I asked for a color copy proof to be printed first on paper. She did not want to print my copy, but insisted "we did it in steps" by importing it to the their business card layout. ( This girl didn't even know what a bleed was.) Again I wanted to do a color proof, before I ordered cards, but she kept saying she has to load my layout and that there were 8 other print orders blah blah! Again, I told her " I JUST WANT A COLOR COPY" so she finally prints my copy but printed it as fit to page. So my business card became a 8 1/2 X11. She hands it to me and by then I clearly disappointed. I just wanted it printed the way my document is set up. By then I was speaking to a manager. He listened but didn't say a word. He wasn't even apologetic. Great job training your staff Staples! read more

I go into Staples a lot and buy for my office. The rebates are a big pain and sometimes take 3 months and 3 or three phone calls to get it back. Many times they do not have the product in stock. Most of the time the cashiers are ok. Every time I go in there are issues not under the control of the management. Such as what the store carries what is in stock etc. You drive many miles to find out they don't carry in store and you have to order on line or go there and discontinued or out of stock. Many times the person who helps is not very helpful. Other times they are so helpful. But I think I would take that easy button and toss it because it is almost never easy. After being in here 3 times and never having a good experience I decided a review was necessary. The staff has never seemed interested in hustling. Today after asking for help I waited 10 minutes while the gentleman helped 6 other people who came in after me. Other employees were standing around. When I left I asked if that meant they didn't want to help me still, no apology, nothing. I left without ever getting help, after waiting 8 minutes I ordered on Amazon mobile. They do not care that people have other things to do besides wait for them. The entire time I was waiting there was also a customer service call dinging every 45 seconds, while they were standing around. Skip this awful store and go to Albany if you must have something from staples. Amazon prime is typically less and no need to be treated like garbage while still getting the same product! read more
