I even considered buying a new machine! But I did a quick search and found Summit and thought - what is the worst that could happen? I was blown away. Even the answering message was inviting! I did not leave a message because they said just drop in but I got a returned call from them anyway. Everyone was really nice, did not treat me like an idiot, and understood my slight panic of not being able to connect to the internet. They freely shared some great advice on virus and malware protection. And they took my computer in promising to get to it ASAP and, while they could not promise same day, they would try. This was about noon. By 5:30 they had it all cleaned up - inside and out. And it is so fast - I had forgotten how fast my laptop was/is. I cannot recommend them enough - and if you are a ways out and wondering if they are worth the drive, the answer is yes.

Appreciative, but pretty bummed out, I took everything home and he was nice enough not to charge me for his time. I go home, and a few hours later, DC computers texts me and says they have an extra model for sale that not only met my budget, but would fit the parts I still had so I wouldn't need to return them! I was extatic, and not to mention he was also nice enough to hold onto it for the few days it took to come up with the money i needed to buy it. And lastly he has an adorable feline assistant!
