4/14/19 around 5:00 - 5:30 PM: I tried to send a box via UPS earlier this afternoon. The woman typed in the address and said "it did not exist". Thinking I made a typo, I asked her if she could go online to the USPS website and verify the zip code. I would have checked it on my phone but I did not have it with me. Her reply: "No, I can't do that". She just gave me a blank stare and offered no solutions. Totally useless. I took back my box and came home. I logged onto the USPS website, checked the address and zip code, and it came up exactly as I had on my label. What a waste of my time. Never going back to Staples for anything postage related. I went into Staples and spend over 100 bucks. I also looked at an expensive office chair. Though the store was not busy, I had poor customer service. I was behind a woman with coupons and other issues. There were two employees stocking shelves nearby, who did not acknowledge me or my wait. Also a manager, who ignored me. I almost left, but finally asked the employee near me to check me out. Very annoying. The store was not busy. Customers always come first. This is why Amazon is ahead of the game. read more

This place has everything I need for office supplies and more. It is easy to navigate the store. The aisles have labels for all items in its specific section, so I am not wandering around for hours, wasting my time. I like that. I came in the other day and could not figure out where Certificates of Completion were located. I had to approach a Staples Team Member for help and she quickly pointed me in the right direction and explained that I would have to buy the Certificate stationary and download the online template for the form from the paper manufacturer. Makes sense to me! So far, I have bought reams of paper, office furniture, receipts, packing material for shipping items and a flash drive. Five stars for Stephanie and cashier today, friendly fast and efficient. The 3 in the printing area were too busy laughing and talking to each other to help or acknowledge the only customer in line, only a few people were in the store around 5:45pm. I'm surprised because staples had seemed to be on top of Customer service, normally when u walk in they would greet customers, the staff in the mail and printing area have seemed to be slow because of the process but there personalities always made up for it, not today but could be new people, later they were still chatting in a circle but now with some manager asking for time off...yes the few customers like me can hear your conversation..lol read more

I find it extremely irritating going into a business and not being acknowledged. I counted how many staff I walked in front of. In their line of vision. 6. I counted 6 and not one single greeting. Not one simple "What can i help you find". I walked around the store looking for a Dymo printer for my business. When I finally found it, there was no one around to answer my question of price matching. So I just decided to order it on Amazon. So management, if you actually read this, make sure to mention to your staff to greet customers. read more

An ignorant apathetic supervisor named Komiel had the audacity to accuse me of "playing the game" in order to get a 4$ discount when my item rang up more than the advertised price. Although the cashier was making every effort to help with the re- ring of the item, the supervisor komiel was not only rude to the cashier, but was mean and spoke to me in a degrading way. His words and attitude were offensive and should not be allowed in a work environment. He spoke to myself and my 16 year old daughter with disrespect because we were women. I would never shop at this location again and I will be reaching out to corporate. read more

The Print and Copy center team did an amazing job printing a couple posters for me. There was an issue with one of the posters not matching the file colors and they did everything possible to get it right. I went there to buy a simple item, ink. They were out of the type (one black cartridge) i needed so i asked the cashier if they had any in the stock room, she called over "Richard" and he promptly looked in storage for me, none was there but he didn't stop there he went back to the wall and offered me a great discount on a two cartridge pack (one color, which i can always use , one black) he saved me $10 and a trip to another store. I use Staples all time but this location is horrible. Complete joke. I asked them to print something I emailed, they wouldn't and instead sent me to the machines that were a nightmare themselves, no instructions and then when I received fax and needed it scanned she wouldn't do it and sent me to the machine again only to tell me I had to come back over to counter to pay for my fax. 4 desperate transactions. The 2 chicks in the print shop are rude and a lazy joke! read more

I received the worst customer service ever! I can't stand it when someone is rude to you for no reason. I understand people have bad days but there is no reason to take it out on a customer. The employees could care less. I have ordered pickup items online twice here and could barely get them to acknowledge me. One if the times I had to listen to 2 employees stand in the pickup area and complain about another employee who didn't show up or call the in, and all of their personal issues as well. I was on my phone, and only after I started looking at him did he realize that it might not be appropriate. Unprofessional! The second time today the employee looked right at me as she went behind the desk-never even acknowledged me-guess it was her time to go home! I wrote this review while I was waiting for my pickup today. I feel sorry for the managers that have to deal with these individuals-management seem to be the only ones working. I brought in 4 iPhones to ship via the UPS drop off inside Staples. A female employee helped me box the phones up and place the shipping labels on. A few days later UPS still hadn't received the phones for shipping. I spoke with a friend of mine who is a UPS manager and he personally knows the pick up driver to be an upstanding person and long time employee who wouldn't steal (he didn't know the phones were being shipped unlike the Staples employee). When i called Staples about 10 days later a manger who identified himself as Carlos wasn't any help! He claimed they don't have cameras in the store to see who stole the phones What a nightmare for me! Don't go to this Staples!!! read more

It took a day for them to finish my business cards when they stated it'll only take a few hours came back up there and my cards were still incomplete. I had a work emergency this evening which involved a malfunction with my office printer, requiring me to upload some files for printing an hour before closing. The goal was to use the 1-hour expedited printing option and pick up the job right before closing. Unfortunately, when I submitted the online order I was just after 8pm and did not have (or did not see) the 1 hour expedited option and was provided a pick up time 23 hours later (too late for my needs). With the order already uploaded and submitted, I called in to see if there was any way my order could still be expedited. Kamil and Ben went above and beyond to locate my order in the system, verify the files I needed printed via email, and complete the print job quickly so I could pick it up before closing. I stopped in here a little while back needing a wireless modem. I simply did not want to deal with the issues mine was having. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff member recommended the unit that was a few $$ cheaper than the one next to it. I would give no stars if I could. Very short-staffed and poor customer service. I called beforehand asking if they had items in stock for a shipment, the girl put me on hold for 10 minutes and then told me yes. So I came in with my husband's package and waited in line for 20 minutes only for them to tell me they didn't have the proper form. This was very disappointing because my package had a deadline for shipping and most post offices were closing. Every time I come here out of desperation(close to my house) the line takes forever and there is no staff. Choose another Staples. read more

Unbelievable. This location is an authorized post office USPS facility (staffed with staples employees) and waited 1 hour+ to send 1 letter registered. Staff is not trained to be a facility to accept postal service packages. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving. The shipping season is upon us and I would avoid this place like the plague unless you like pain. If you cannot handle this function don't offer it as it reflects poorly on staples. My review is primarily for Daniel in the copy and print department. Not only did he help me design new estimate sheets for our tree business, but he exceeded my expectations with his customer service skills! He was extremely prompt, and made me feel like he enjoyed helping me!! Which is NOT COMMON these days! But it doesn't end there... a problem happened (which I understand sometimes they do) but it was the way he resolved it that makes me eager to go back and work with him again! Do not come to this location for copy and print needs. Only one guy knows what he is doing and the others have no idea. Ross was very helpful but Dalia was extremely rude and sarcastic. I told her I wouldn't mind waiting for her to complete my print job and she told me to come back tomorrow. She was sarcastic and said "why don't you come back here and do it yourself". Im standing in line with a packet to make copies, im next in line, but of course the person in front of me seemed to have quite a few orders, no problem, right? Only one person behind the desk, not really busy, so I patiently wait. Until i finally walk up to the person and ask him i need to make copies, only to be told 'im no longer taking orders, but you can help yourself at that copy machine.' Really?! I didn't know there was a self serve service , and if saw me standing in line he could have told me while i was waiting! I've been to the store before and they seem to always be short staff. The need to have more staff available, when i need help i don't seem to find someone, and when I don't need help, there's someone asking if i need it. read more

Beyond Disappointing - actually disappoints would be a severe understatement. I'm disgusted with my overall experience inside this store. I ordered my baby shower invites online (maternity photo included) and opted to pick them up at the nearest Staples. Mind you, these were professional photos that were taken and given to me. I uploaded the file onto my laptop and ordered these invites online - beautiful, HD quality photos. I gave my order name/ number to one of the reps in the printing service department and he brought the box of invitations and asked me to open it and confirm my satisfaction. When I set eyes on the invites, my jaw about dropped; I couldn't believe they would give a customer this bad of a job. The photo was completely pixilated and the quality was absolutely crappy (for lack of a better term, yet very justified). It looked like the photo was printed out on cheap newspaper paper and then copied onto this photo card. I immediately expressed my discontent with the quality and the young man who initially helped me, brought my concern to the attention of a rep named Kamalil (I hope I spelled that correct). I then reiterated my discontent with the quality of the invites and said they were nothing like I anticipated. I informed him that these were professional photos and shouldn't have come out like this. He offered to reprint them on glossy paper. I agreed and continued to show another customer who asked to see the invites that I was displeased with. I'm not sure if he found my discontent with the photos offensive or what, but it seemed to have hurt his ego and he walked away. I assumed he was going to reprint the invites (with attitude but that was okay because he was going to help me fix the problem), however, him and the young man who originally gave me my order continued to help the 4 or 5 customers who arrived after me. I waited for about 30 minutes until he was finished helping these customers. When there were no other customers to tend to, he walked back up to me and asked "are you waiting for something or what? Do you need a manager?" I stood for a moment in disbelief and looked to another customer who had been there receiving services before I arrived and he put his hand over his mouth in shock. I responded to the rep "are you really asking me that right now?" His tone changed to a sarcastic manner and took the box of invites I had and proceeded to try and help me. I said,"you know what, you could actually get the manager for me." He continued to try and help but at that point I was not having it. I asked for the manager again and he proceeded to do so. At this point, I was tearing up out of frustration and disappointment. The manager Carlos wasn't at all helpful; in fact he too seemed inconvenienced that I had brought attention to the poor quality of the invites I had paid for. I explained to him the poor quality but that I was more so upset with the way that his associate had treated me and the absolute lack of customer service. He offered to destroy the invites and give me my money back. I asked him one simple question: "if I opted for another paper would the quality be as poor as this?" It took him a few minutes to explain a number of irrelevant details and finally I reiterated my question and his answer was "no, because we don't use photo printers, we only use laser printers." At that point, I had no more words. I was not only mislead online, but mistreated and totally dismissed by not only the customer service rep, but the manager himself. Both men were condescending, unprofessional and their customer service and tones were anything but a remedy. I needed these invites and didn't have time or the money to create/ order new ones from Staples or any other company so I took the invites and walked out of the store overly disappointed, crying and at a loss for words. The prints weren't the most expensive, however, I wasn't even offered a discount or refund. I will never give Staples my business again - especially this one. I'm thoroughly disappointed in my overall experience and I don't suggest anyone print photos here or create invites, announcements, greeting cards, etc. because of the inevitable poor quality, misinformation (online and in store) and the simple fact that Staples does not own a photo printing machine. You're better off printing photos on your home laser printer. read more

Its no wonder this place only has (1) 5 star rating and the reviewer knows the manager and staff. This place reminds me of the opening skit in the dave chappel show The customer service is the worst thing about this place. I was in the store to purchase some small items and wanted a price check on an advertisement. The cashier asked the manager to intervene the manager said the advertisement read one way and if i didn't believe him i could walk to the sign with him and he'd show me. After reaching the sign and squandering with a customer the manager was rude with his response to the wording of the advertisement. Rude to the sense he won a grudge and wanted to flaunt that. So I told him that a customer misreading an advertisement must merit the horrible customer service. As we walked back in silence you could see his body language change after i said that. After he was feeling like an idiot for realizing a customer pointed out his horrible customer service. The manager decided to take $1.00 off of the purchase. YES, thats what will cure a case of crappy customer service a dollar towards the purchase. Once he realized that the extra dollar would require him to scan another coupon he says " hmm, oh well lets see" meaning 'i acted like a jack ass and i need this valuable dollar to come off of the purchase but how will i do it as a manager?' I will never be back to this location. I will travel the mile down the road to Office Depot, where they value customers, and understand what it means to have loyal customers. read more

I have had just great service at this store. They are so welcoming and each time I go in they ask me if I need help finding something. They really try to make your shopping experience be the best. I usually walk out of the store with a smile. I have been going their for years and I can't say I have ever had poor service. read more

I brought in a USB and 9 sheets of card stock for a quick 9 prints from a full page PDF. After they tried to put me through the self service printer realizing that I can't use card stock in those, they tried to set me up to pick up an hour later which was perfectly fine. Considering the issues they were having trying to print before I left, I came back almost 2 hours later hoping it was enough time for them to figure it out. I show up to find out after the first failed attempt, they pretty much gave up, but offered me to come back to the employee area to try and print it myself. It initially printed blank on card stock because the printer seemed to be on standby, so I tried to print it once more, which came out perfectly fine; however, it came out on regular paper. I waited another 15 minutes for another employee to come to the rescue and figure it out. I got an extra copy which was a nice gesture, but for them to ask me to figure it out and not bother getting the extra help until AFTER I got back to pick up, was a little unprofessional for me. read more

This review is for online ordering. Don't do it! What a joke. It's obvious this store has no interest in competing with Amazon, Target etc. Right after I placed my order I needed to check something. I have an order# but guess what...there's nowhere to check my order. After searching the site a good 15 min I found hidden info that because I ordered on a weekend I wouldn't receive an email confirmation of my order until Monday which meant that I wouldn't be able to check my order because I need the email confirmation to do that. I thought I'll just cancel my order and go to Amazon but guess what..... you can't do that either without the confirmation email. Wait it gets better. I also saw a hidden gem that I have to be home to sign for the order AND deliveries are only M-F 8-5. Why do I need to be home to sign for school supplies??? Should I take a day off of work to make sure the crayons and glue sticks are safe. Sorry Staples but you're showing your lack of consumer awareness. No wonder this store is always on the list of companies about to go under. Either redo your online ordering process or just fold it down. read more
