I was extremely disappointed with the balloon service at Staples. I brought in a few large number balloons that I had purchased elsewhere and was charged $15 per balloon just to inflate them with helium. They only charge 1399 to buy them and inflate them there and they're larger number. They did not have read, which is what I needed which is why I brought them in.. I also purchased 10 plain green latex balloons from Staples, and they charged $2 each for those as well. My total ended up being over $50, which was a huge surprise. What made the experience even more frustrating was the service. There were no customers ahead of me, yet I was told it would take 45 minutes to fill the balloons. For those prices, I expected much better service and a much faster turnaround. I understand businesses charge for helium and labor, but the pricing should be communicated clearly before the service is performed, and the wait time was unreasonable given there was no line. I won't be using Staples for balloon services again. read more

They had so many interesting options beyond the traditional office supplies I thought of when thinking of Staples. Ended up doing a bunch of last minute holiday shopping here. It got very expensive though and I was shocked at the end but I got a ton of stuff. Martha Stewart has a line of interesting office supplies all in gold theme that worked for some fun gifts. They had Legos, and fun Crayola stuff. Staff was helpful with any questions I had. I also could park right in front of the store only a few days before Christmas where at SCP I had to park far away unless you want to Valet. read more

Usually I always go to Staples and I have good experiences, but when I visit this store, the service at first was fine, looking for what I needed because it is very organized and huge, you can find everything. We asked about a specific type of paper and the women who were there could not give information, then we asked a gentleman and he behaved kindly and said options. I was taking photos and video for this platform because I wanted to show you, that they have anything and to recommended it, we wanted to go to the restroom and a woman told us they were closed, they had an out-of-service sign, but she was there taking out some bags. I told her if she would let us in and she said no, in a very rude way. We left there to pay, and when paid and we grabbed the receipt, I took another picture, the man who had been kind and I was going to recommend his good care, told me not to take photos/video in a very abrupt way, that kind of situation affects the customers with a bad customer service and I definitely do not return to that place. I will visit other Staples where I have had good experience with employees. If you go here, you're going to get scolded for taking pictures of things. read more

Came here for my TSA Pre check appointment on Saturday and Hannah made the process so smooth and easy! Not only was her customer service top tier but she made sure to explain the process every step of the way which made me feel very comfortable. Also, she made sure my privacy was taken seriously when it came to inputting my personal information in a public setting. Overall such a great experience and it's all because of her! It's no wonder these companies are going out of business. I ordered envelopes for same day pickup, order was canceled because although they advertised the item was in stock they did not have the item. I had to order a new similar item, I also had an Amazon return so I figured it made more sense to pay extra to order from them rather than to order through Amazon and wait till 5pm to get it from Amazon. I arrived and stood in line for about 15 minutes, Pregnant carrying a heavy and bulky item. No care for anyone assisting me. I get to the counter and the person is in their own zone fixing his area not a greeting or anything. I set the item down, mention that I was returning the item and he scans the item. He then proceeded to call his supervisor about the item not fitting into some plastic bag. He never tried to get it into said bag or the box and declined the item. I explained Amazon has Staples as the literal only option that doesn't require a box and how they are aware of the item size. They refused the product but worse had no remorse or suppprt? They were just rude to someone who purchased items from their business and was doing what the platform said. A little humanity and respect for the absolute disrespect of time goes a long way. read more

Beyond frustrating. Had 2 packages to mail. One was an Amazon return, the other I paid for. I paid for my box first because I couldn't get my return code off of Amazon. The worker said they have bad cell reception and no password for their internet. I asked the gentleman if I could step outside to retrieve my code and be put next in line when I return, since now there were about 8 people behind me. His answer was no. I came here to pick some thing up that I ordered online. The girl at the register was really nice. But when she started talking to her "manager" he started making snarky remarks while I was right there in front of the whole store. " well, the order just came in" he was super rude. The people who work here seem to hate their work and are not willing to help at all. I wasted more than an hour of my time trying to print some work plans and it seems that all the time they were trying to tell me that I Outside instead of looking for a way to help me, definitely the staff in the printing area need to be a little more responsible in their work. Last night our team came into this staples needing newsletters printed out. Now mind you ..we are new to this and really had no clue what we were doing. But we were helped by Carlos and he is the best! So patient, very kind, and absolutely hardworking. The woman I work for is an elderly Nigerian woman and she has never had to do this job until the person who usually does, unfortunately passed away. So she's very stressed and it's been very hard but Carlos was so patient and kind, not once did he lose his cool and honestly...it would've been expected. We had to go back and fourth with him over 5 times. YES 5 TIMES! And that's not counting how many times he had to help us make our document into a pdf lol! Anyways, I overheard him even offering to stay late to clean because we were still there even after closing and one of the workers wanted us out. He is an amazing man, I pray the Lord blesses him tenfold for his patience and loving-kindness. read more

This place is a complete joke. No wonder staples are going out of business and they keep closing up their stores. Walked in to get one piece of paper laminated and they couldn't even laminate a piece of paper. It would take until a full 24 hours to do so. It's a Staples, which can be far and few in-between depending on where you live. A few have closed near me so it's a rarity to shop in-store these days. I was heading to Cafe Rio when I noticed Staples right next door. Perfect! (I was originally going to go to another Staples on my way home.) I had rewards that I needed to spend. The store itself is very spacious and everything is organized and easy to find. Service-wise, it's interesting. I think it's something that most customer service workers are feeling these days - overworked and frustrated, because the employee who rang me up sighed after every phrase... After helping the customer before me, he thanked her, sighed, and then helped me. After every short phrase, another sigh. Not great in service, but I got what I needed and was on my way. I cannot attest to the other services in the store but it is nice to still have a physical Staples to pick up any items as soon as needed, and utilize printing services or tech services as needed. There is plenty of parking, so no need to worry about having to find a parking spot. read more

Terrible service. The clerk flat out refused to accept my USPS drop off of a package the size of a shoe box because of 'space problems'. Meanwhile I could see plenty of space with my own two eyes. Happy to use and spend my money elsewhere. This location is pretty run down anyways so don't hold your breath if you need anything else than a pack of gum and a Diet Coke. read more

I highly recommend this store for printing services. I called at 8:30 in the morning to try and get a banner made for my nephew who was coming home from his first chemo treatment. I called last week to get my Christmas cards made she helped me with my options when I went to pick them up they appeared blurt we realized I picked the wrong pixel size she was able to walk Me through how to fix it which I really appreciated. I will be requesting to work with her on my next project. Nothing to do with Amy but I did call Back after realizing I was going to need stamps to actually send the cards. The girl at the front said you don't sell stamps due to covid.......... what do selling stamps or not have to do with covid??? I returned an item here a few weeks ago and bought the correct one to replace it. I was told that the return was credited to my card and I was charged for the new item. Imagine my surprise when I reviewed my credit card statement and noticed that return was never credited to my account! The only proof I had was my credit card statement, my receipt for the item purchased, and my word. I went in there figuring that I would not be believed and sent home without my refund (I mean we are living in the age of non stop scams). The manager that helped me was Carlos. He was very professional and understanding. He listened to my issue, examined what proof I had, and issued my refund. I just wanted to give him a shout out for such a positive customer service experience! I'll definitely be back! I bought a gaming chair for my son a few years back, a got the Staples protection plan. I had the protection plan reciept but not the original purchase reciept. I tried to get it by calling the help desk. They were able to give me all the info of my purchase (price, sku, and transaction number) but said they couldn't provide me a copy of the reciept , which meant I couldn't file a claim. I called The Staples on 17th Street where I purchased the chair. I spoke to Carlos the manager, and with no hesitation, he told me to bring in the chair and he would take care of it. It was that easy...my son and I brought in the chair that day and easily exchanged it...no hassle. I've been coming to this Staples for over 18 years for my business needs and over 15+ years for all my sons school needs. Carlos has managed this store for over 20+. LAZY AND BRAINDEAD. The printing department has to be the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. I walked in to print something in the self service section and the color wasn't correct. So I asked the person behind the desk to print my 10 pages. He said I would have to wait 1 hour (they closed in 1 hour and 15 min) and there wasn't a soul in the store. None of the printers were printing anything so I asked why I had to wait an hour. They said its store policy. I asked for the manager and same story. I asked if they had any orders in the cue ahead of me and they didn't answer. It was evident there were no orders because again, NONE of the printers were going. I will never in my life go back to Staples. I can't get past the braindead, laziness and lack of kindness that these two people showed. I don't what type of "policy" you have-this was disgrace. read more

STAY AWAY FROM STAPLES PRINTING SERVICES AS IF THEY WERE THE PLAGUE! Yesterday, I had a 25 page legal size document printed from a thumb drive, and the charge was over $25. I asked the clerk before she started and she didn't have any idea of the cost until she logged in "the computer" at the end... Trusting it would be reasonable, I proceeded. At the end it was a total rip-off! Today while mailing the document at the UPS Store I learned their charge would've been 20 cents per page, $5! I went back to the Staples Store in San Juan Capistrano and complained to the manager. Scott, with a rather condescending manner and arrogance, didn't care and wouldn't do anything, not even pretend to apologize for such an obvious scam. I concluded by letting him know I will never patronize their printing services again and will tell the world about it. He just replied, "You gotta do what you gotta do!"
