We came here for the sole purpose of completing the TSA interview for my dear friend Kathy. We booked the appointment the night before and we were able to secure an appointment the next day. We arrived on time and I learned that the TSA PreCheck partners with Clear. There's a Clear machine now in the TSA-Precheck area which wasn't like that two years ago. The service was quick but unless you travel super often or you don't have a credit card that provides for Clear don't add on the service. Its not worth it. Just stick with your TSA-Precheck status. Kathy got her KTN - Known Traveler's Number in two days. Wow. Super fast. Last tip: Skip all the travel gear at Staples as it is way overpriced. read more

I have been on hold for a simple order I dropped off and wanted laminated. No one called me or even gave me a copy of anything to confirm my order. They just took my son's poster(he got a huge poster of the periodic table for his birthday) and wrote down my info(name, phone number, email) and I left. It has been a week and I am on hold waiting for someone to help me and it's been 30 minutes total that I have been waiting. What in the world is going on? *updated---Since I called back and talked to a manager things went better. The girl that originally took my order perhaps didn't tape my info onto my son's poster that was in one of those Tube Packages. Because I called and asked about my order and it was confirmed it was a periodic table they took care of it very quickly and I received an email confirmation now. If this happens to you please make sure to take a picture of the order form and talk to a manager if something seems off. I know that are busy and are under staffed so try to be patient. But losing an order form is not good. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else. read more

When we entered the store, we were unsure as to what area to go to for our appointment. The first person we talked to was Bo. Wanted to leave a review regarding what staples is looking like from the outside when you drive in it looks like it's abandoned because all of the grass is completely dried and dead looking. The shrubs are overgrown. The parking lot is full of dead, grasses and leaves that need to be swept or blown. It looks like it's really lacking being taken care of overall. Do better and make it more welcoming to want to come in. read more

I went to this location looking for something super specific- a feature in calendars that is hard to find. The manufacturer who use to include that no longer does. I asked Beau an associate if she knew which calendar carried it. We looked and we couldn't find- so she send to Morgan who was working register- she helped with the large calendars up front of the store and we still could not find. As I ready to leave the store Beau comes rushing up- she found a calendar with that information. Give these two employees a raise. Best service in 20 years! read more

Staples advertises they will create your business cards and flyers etc but when you go to get it done they tell you if it's going to take their employees more than 15 minutes to design you have to hire their design team and it's not cheap. I complained to a store manager " John " and he could care less what I thought. He simply stated it's the industry standard and they had other customers to attend to. He was very condescending and I felt insulted and left. I will not return again for future business needs. The employees in this department have been excellent in the past and it's not their fault but this is a very poor decision by corporate and horrible customer service. read more

Really surprised this staples is the highest producing print branch in Idaho - per the print area guy who was doing an evening shift. I was trying to get some quick, small batch business cards and he said it would be a couple of days. So I asked if I could transfer my online order to their preece location - he said no. But that if he cancels the order I won't get charged. I asked again if my card would get charged and he said 'nope'. I ended up getting them done at the preece location and they were able to get me them next morning. But just noticed on my bank statement - two separate charges for business cards from staples. :(. Took my old laptop in to have it wiped so I could give it to my nephew. The manager on duty who may or may not have been an IT guy did "something" and said that should fix it. Next time I checked, I'm stuck in an Automatic Repair loop that I can't fix and a different employee tells me that my OS is now corrupted, but they can do a clean install for ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS.. to fix a problem that I am positive THEY CAUSED! Arrived here to try and buy a printer. I say "try" because I could find no one to help us on a very quiet day when we were one of two sets of customers in the entire building. We found a printer we liked, but did not see it on their shelves. The sign above the printer read, "Don't see the printer you want, order online." Which makes me wonder why they even have a storefront. I located a clerk and asked him about their printers and if they had any rebate or recycling credit programs. He wasn't sure and suggested we try Best Buy. Finally did as the sign suggested and bought online....at Amazon. Shopping locally has become a surreal experience lately. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Could fill out two pages of what a complete waste of my time this has been. No one knows anything, they won't accept a file from a flash drive or email, you have to go online and figure out which site is the correct site (there are 3 different printing sites for Staples depending on your printing needs - if you want to do an invite, a business print or a custom without binding), you are on hold forever when you do decide out of frustration to call, no one quality checks anything, everyone is always on a break, and their print times are twice as long as their competition. Shop Staples often. Went into the store with a $25 off $100 coupon for an internet or phone order. They have ALWAYS honored them in the store. Not this time! No way. Must go back to office and get online or call the order in for free shipping (let's talk carbon footprint and convenience here). Got online, didn't have one item I needed! Called it in, doesn't exist online. Must go to the store to buy it. NICE . . . And my main reason for going in was for ink, all the colors and black, so when you need ink, you need it NOW!!!. So I figure am out $110 on brand new print cartridge. Nope no according to Correy. Saved me more then a $110 for the new printer. Extremely knowledgeable! Should be running the district office. I always use FedEx/Kinkos, but since I was in the neighborhood, I decided I'd use Staples for convenience. The two girls behind the desk assisting people with copying were young, rude and have a lot to learn about customer service skills. After several tries to be nice and patient with them, I had enough! I gathered my stuff, and went to Kinkos where they are ALWAYS friendly, greet me coming in the door, tell me they'll be with me asap, answer questions, help me at the copy machines if needed, etc... I will NEVER go to this Staples again!! read more

I was there for at least 10 minutes when a young male employee walked by and I ask him for help at which time he continued walking by stating that he would get someone. That "help" never arrived. TERRIBLE. Check your receipt, first of all! I was overcharged 25% for an item (bought three of them). Went back to the store and they made the adjustment. A week later, I went back to return two of the items didn't have the "adjustment" receipt, and it took 20 minutes. Among other challenges, first, they couldn't override the register. Then the manager had to come and create a different receipt -- then, they couldn't seem to print it (on three different printers). Kind of funny given that it's a place that's supposed to help with office equipment and processes! I've been to this location four times, and aside from a big selection of *stuff* (dog-shaped Post-It dispenser anyone?), it's been a bad experience every time. read more

I shop at Staples regularly for office supplies and equipment, and have been very impressed with the employees there. Knowledgeable, friendly, very helpful. I note the negative reviews are old. Whatever the problems were, I believe they were cleared up. Copy and Print center is first class. Terrible. I ordered business cards from them once, and they promised "same day" delivery (by 2 p.m.) if ordered before noon. I ordered at 1 p.m., assuming they would be ready the next day by 2:00 p.m. The cards weren't ready by 2:00 the next day. The clerk explained that I had to order them the "same day by noon;" ordering the previous day didn't count. So I had to return to the store a second time at 6:00 p.m. when the cards were ready. I gave Staples a second chance--I submitted an online order for printing, and when I called to make sure they received the order, they asked me to call back in 20 minutes since the printing clerk was on lunch break (at 7:30 p.m.), and there was nobody in the printing department to help. When I called back, and finally reached the clerk, my online order had never arrived. Staples printing services are unreliable (at this location). And I will never use Staples for printing again. Never. Fex Ex (only 2 miles up the road) has much more reliable service. read more
