Technicians are not good: 1) assistant manager said that are not supposed to know anything products. 2) Check your rewards because I have found out after incongruences that the sales person at this particular location "forgot" to activate/ submit the sale to the reward program. 3) reward program associates are disconnected from reality and blame an obsolete system that is not able to compute points and blah blah blah. morale they are STEALING OUR POINTS! check your purchases. 4) the phone number for the reward program is 1800.779.3320 5) I truly discourage you to go and shop at this store. I frequent this Staples for office, shipping, and recycling purposes, and I will probably return for these things. This review isn't about the store content, it's about the printing center. I went to this Staples (W Union Blvd in Bethlehem PA) to laminate some art prints I had just bought. After paying $20ish to laminate about fifteen prints, I was horrified to discover that five of them had noticeable air bubbles and wrinkles. The employee said that this was because the prints had dust on them. This is absolute nonsense. The employee was careless with the lamination (even forgetting to laminate two of the prints until I pointed out they were missing) and ruined art I had spent decent money on. I don't trust any printing center that can make such an amateurish mistake and will not be returning for any printing jobs in the future. read more

This is for the Lehigh St. location in Allentown PA. Your website said you ship Fedex. In the store there were signs. I asked to ship it and both clerks said, "We don't do FedEx." They told me to go to CVS. Yeah. The pharmacy. The pharmacy doesn't even ship packages. Why would they do that? These clerks were both new and had no idea what they were talking about. I asked for a manager and one of them was the manager. They wouldn't budge so I had to drive 45 minutes through rush hour traffic (I'm off all week and would've been at work for three hours at this point; I shouldn't have to deal with this) just to find the closest FedEx store. Went in, dropped off my package and left with a receipt. So much time and more importantly, gas, wasted. Screwed up my whole morning. Screw Staples. Staples is not a place that I spend a lot of time in but every year in August it is a necessary evil when it comes to school supply shopping as seemingly they always have one or two things cheaper than everybody else while at the same being totally non-competitive on many others. Off the top of my head they are usually pretty good for things like paper, pencils, index cards, pens and contact paper but for things like disinfectant wipes, binders and folders their prices are crap. The other issue would be that if you need help finding something there's rarely anyone on the floor to help. Usually you've got one person at the register upfront with another one or two over at the copy center who are always busy and another person over where they sell/service computers and that's it. Of course I can't forget my personal pet peeve which is that they really push the Staples Rewards thing at the register. If you don't have an account they usually look at you like your "special" where you probably should be going around with your name & address on the inside of your coat. Thanks but I don't want it and if I did, I would already have it. The little subtle sales push/jab/dig at the register is not going to push me to join no matter what it might do for me just based on the principal of me being annoyed at getting asked for the 80th time. Their hours are decent and the store is usually clean so until that changes every year I'll continue to make my one or two trips to get whatever things they offer teaser rates on before heading to Target or Amazon for the rest. read more

Any unsubscribe from their emails and have tried multiple times. Every time I click on the unsubscribe link from their email, it continually loads and times out. I have done this from numerous different computers and from my phone and it never works. Plus they don't match online pricing. read more

Just stopped in for a quick and easy purchase. Store seems clean, however, also seems to be lacking customer service. No one offered assistance when I was looking for something after a few minutes and the cashier didn't even say thank you. Sounds minuscule but it goes a long way. read more
