They're just efficient, and for a lady like me who likes efficiency in general and needed to get in and out specifically on the day that I visited, Target Optical fit my needs. I knew my prescription had not changed since the last time I got my eyes checked 12 months ago, so I just needed a doctor to check my eyes and confirm my suspicions by writing me a prescription. I was able to get my eye exam and prescription in hand in about 30 minutes. Also, my appointment started on time, and they didn't pressure me to order glasses or contacts from them. I told them that I just wanted my prescription because I wanted to buy a specific style of glasses elsewhere, and they were basically like, "Good, thanks for visiting, have a wonderful day," etc. I came back on a different day because I needed them to take my optical measurements for some glasses that I was buying somewhere else, and they didn't even blink as they measured my eyes and wrote down the measurements to give to a different optometrist. They didn't even charge me, either. Dang. All of this just endears me to Target Optical for my basic optometry needs.

They were a well oiled machine. Then we met with Jadyn, the Optician. My wife Jackie and i both enjoyed talking with her and understanding new trends and eyewear we may prefer. Jadyn was so attentive and just interested in us. She was a good listener and let us know she heard what we were saying in a very courteous way. Terrible experience! They have made my lenses 4 times and…read morestill not right. This time they messed up the PD dimension so now I can only focus out of one eye at a time. Paid extra for the wider field of vision and the field of vision is still so narrow that I can't turn my head in the slightest before everything goes out of focus. I have now gone somewhere else and much happier with the lenses. My guess is they have a cheap lens grinding machine that just does a terrible job at getting a prescription right.

I am very disappointed with this location. This is the second year in a row I have had issues with…read moreMy Eye Dr. In getting new glasses or new lenses for my glasses. I went to pick up my new lenses for my glasses today after waiting over two weeks for the new lenses to be done. Erica told me the lenses did not fit my glasses and they had to be retraced in order for a new set of lenses to be ordered, which is going to take another two weeks!! Why was this not done correctly the first time??!!! Last year, I had to get a new set of glasses and lenses and the lab scratched my lenses and I had to wait about three and a half weeks to get the glasses!! When I did finally get the glasses, the lenses were scratched up!! I had to get the lenses fixed again!! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! The only reason I am still coming here is because of Dr. Megan Avilia, the optometrist. She is delightful and a pure joy to be around. Unfortunately, it looks like I am going to have to find another optometrist. I am not going to put up with this anymore. The location needs to find new professional staff to work in the lab who know what they are doing. I would not recommend this particular location for your vision care. You will not get your glasses done correctly the first time around!! Find another place!
