So it's definitely a vibe and place to hang out. The indoor and outdoor area is meticulously designed and very relaxing to be in. Our server, Hannah, was very friendly and checked in consistently. The soft serve margarita - Watermelon was delicious. My friend got the pineapple and didn't think the pineapple was strong. I got the Nashville chicken and biscuits and it was good, but not spicy at all. Just seasoned. The Chinese chicken salad and grilled chicken sandwich were also enjoyed by our table.

Solid family dinner. Great atmosphere, quick and friendly service. The carne asada was good, but a bit on the smaller side. (Guess I'm used to larger sides). The Chinese chicken salad was delicious. Giant size, juicy and hearty. The bison burger was juicy and the truffle fries were a nice touch. The chicken parm was the size of my head, but a bit dry and under salted. Will probably not order again.

In true yelp fashion, we had to find a place we've never been to so we came to Standard. I made a reservation on their website and we arrived at 6:15 on Saturday night. It was quite packed. There is a ton of outside seating inside seating and a variation of both. We were promptly seated and our waitress Got us waters quickly. My husband tried the I know the owner and I tried their version of an old-fashioned. Both were very good and reasonable considering it was off happy hour pricing. I ordered the chicken sliders and he ordered the Mexican plate. We were both very impressed. The food is very good. I will say the chicken sliders are quite spicy. You might ask for the sauce on the side. I like the option to check your tab with a barcode that's at each table. That's something I've not seen before a good way to stay on budget. I noticed there's a huge outside grassy area. Lots of kids playing with a huge TV. This looks like a great place for families even your furry friends. Add it to the love list

walked in on a what was going to be a busy Friday night for them. they had a table but only had it available for 1.5 hours, No Problem we will be out in 1 :-) . ordered the pigs in a blanket, they were just Ok. the shrimp tacos and fish and chips and both of those were amazing! our server brought over a sample of Strawberry Margarita to try and that was great too. you can tell its a quality restaurant and has a robust and lively clientele. Love it because its a good restaurant that is very close to where we live! Cheers!

This place is great for everyone. It's modern, clean, and well managed. Huge outdoor play areas for the family to play pickle ball and watch an outdoor movie theater screen to watch games. The food was equally great. They also feature a nice drink menu. The menu includes thin pizza, wings, and other staple items the family would like. Definitely worth the trip.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening. We made reservations before and avoided a wait. The place is modern and kid friendly with a large outdoor area to let them burn some energy. They offer outdoor, patio or inside dining. The menu offers a decent selection. I ordered Carne Asada. It was delicious with good slices of steak, rice and a bowl of beans with two authentic style tortillas. I was full but not overdone afterwards. Good service including the manager checking on us. We'll be back.

I've eaten here (at the actual business) once. Uber Eats tells a completely different story. In the past year, I've ordered delivery 10+ times. Geesh! I have to give it to them, their food is good even after waiting for delivery. I've ordered quite a bit of the menu and have never had an issue with the quality of ingredients, freshness, or temperature. Of course, there is a difference between table service and home delivery, but more often than not, a quick 30 seconds in the microwave is all that is needed, if at all. There's only been one meal I completely hated (cheese ravioli chicken alfredo), and one I would suggest needs to be kitchen to table versus delivery (tex mex chicken nachos). The salads are a great portion (two servings - I'll split between meals and add my own protein). A quick run-down of orders (and re-orders): -Tejas bowl -cheese sticks -chips + salsa -the ranch salad -the spinach salad -tomato soup (get the bowl. everytime. freezes well and gives me two portion sizes) -veggie chopped salad -red rooster sliders -fish and chips (a bit too salty, but great portion) -grilled chicken sandwich -honey garlic brussels -hg kale ceasar salad -Angus chili (freezes well) - sweet potato fries (skip for delivery) -meatball sub sliders (a bit salty, but overall tasty - the slider bun is magnificent) SS being so close to my home has been a lifesaver whether I'm not feeling well, don't want to cook, or I want a little razzle dazzle to break up to monotony of home cooked meals during the week. When I did visit (Nov. 2022), the family enjoyed the outdoor activity options and the relaxing, but fun vibe. Unfortunately, they're no longer active on the app. Hopefully, that changes soon.

Standard Service is very trendy and has a great vibe. Our service was EXCELLENT! The food is what kept me from giving 5/5. The chips and queso were delicious, and a change from most queso you get when eating out. For my entree, I had the chicken fried chicken. It was a little tough, and not much flavor. The green beans were completely flavorless, but the mashed potatoes were good. I'll definitely be back to try other offerings on the menu. read more

Great bar/restaurant/entertainment facility. Great potential. Customer service was lacking. Arrived and played Pickleball for about 30 minutes. Went back inside to get a table to eat/drink. Seated outside in open area picnic tables. Waited 10 minutes and waiter never visited us although he walked past us multiple times. Seated ourselves at bar and got decent service there. Food was tasty but on the cold side. Drinks were great. Came back a second time and they couldn't combine our bar bills and food not hit again read more

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for food in the Rockwall area. It's very modern, has a great selection of food, and reasonably priced. If you can call ahead, I would recommend doing so, as it is very popular. However, if you have to wait a bit, it's worth it. I had a cup of bison chili and loaded grilled cheese, both of which were delicious. My husband also enjoyed his meal, specifically the french fries! One thing to note is that it is very noisy due to the open space and tall ceilings.If you aren't into that, I'd look for another dinner location. read more

My first experience with Standard Service. Very clean place, loved the place, loved the customer service, loved the music. We ordered a patty melt and chicken fried steak. Loved the food too. When we were getting to check out, the waiter showed the invoice on his tablet. He was standing right behind me staring at the tablet while I was completing the transaction. I thought it was little awkward. He was supposed to give me few minutes to complete the transaction. Great place overall! read more

Wow! I can say that this place really surprised me. The interior is well appointed with y'all ceilings and a unique wall that has decor all the way up. It's small and intimate inside, but still feels lively and fun. I had the tomato soup, which was quite good, though I felt it needed some cream because it was very acidic. I opted for a burger which was sooo good! The meat was juicy and well season, and the bun toasted. The fries had a delicious flavor, but were cold. I had a peach iced tea that was amazing. Love the atmosphere and the outdoor fire pits, jumbo tron, fun and games. Great for date night or family fun. Food is very good. The roasted brussels are exceptional. Imaginative salads and bowls. My friend took me to this restaurant while I was in town. I must say it is absolutely excellent! Our server was attentive and able to answer all of our questions and concerns. The atmosphere is inviting, with great music playing. I loved the layout! The bathrooms are clean and very nice. Now on to the important part: the food. We ordered queso to start. The chips were crisp, tasty, and non-greasy. They were also sturdy... sturdy enough to support the weight of copious amounts of queso. I had the spinach salad. The spinach was fresh, and the dressing was excellent. I loved the strawberries. They tasted as though they were picked from the vine just for me. The best part, however, was the side. We ordered a side of the grits. When you first taste them, you can't help but smile. They literally taste like happiness. The grits were cooked to perfection with tons of cheese without being greasy or stringy. Very interesting! For grits, and cheese grits at that, they weren't heavy at all. I will definitely be back, and next time I will order 2 helpings of grits instead of 1, and I won't share either serving with anyone! read more

Loving this new place. They offer a lot of great healthy food options as well as some options that made my hubs happy. The atmosphere is sophisticated casual. The food was fantastic. My hubs had the fried chicken and I had the tuna avocado burrito. Together we also ordered the French onion dip. Don't see where you could order anything wrong. Met a friend here for lunch and I was very impressed with the quality service and the food. There is seating inside and out along with a plethora of activities including pickle ball, ping pong, shuffle board and corn hole. I had one of the chicken sandwiches and it was the freshest chicken I've ever had. I can't wait to bring the family for a fun evening and explore more of the menu! read more

If I was rating this place strictly on atmosphere and location it would get 5/5 stars. Very versatile restaurant...you can chill out and have drinks, watch a game, and it's very family friendly. However, the food is a major vibe killer. I didn't get a chance to take photos but my group of 6 ordered a variety of foods including their nachos, grilled chicken sandwich, tacos, impossible burger, and alfredo ravioli. None of the items were particularly delicious. Nachos lacked chicken, grilled chicken sandwich was overpowered by the aioli, the impossible burger was extremely dry, and the alfredo smelt and tasted disgusting. Our waitress was very accommodating and provided excellent service but the food simply couldn't be redeemed. read more

I love the venue and the menu but their Overall Customer Service is lacking. They seemed to have tables reserved for hours before they were occupied. We could have been seated and served before anyone showed up. The staff didn't even seem to care to try and accommodate our needs. read more

Great for watching big games on College Football Saturdays! The food here is quite good, but lacks a constant rotation of menu items. The drinks however are a staple, but on the pricier side. If you are looking to relax with a few beverages, an appetizer, and some friends in the warm fall air then this is the place. Great spot for hanging with friends. The pickle ball courts are a bonus. Thoughtfully laid out to maximize dining and entertainment experience. My fav item on the menu is the kale Caesar salad with salmon and a Pinot Grigio. Miss the original space - but they had to grow the biz! read more

Friendly, clean, up beat and delicious. This is a win for Rockwall. The food was delicious, drinks exceptional and the staff super friendly. I think we found our new date night place. This a great hang out spot. Their drink options are great and they have a charity walk of drinks you can get and proceeds go to that certain charity. This vibe and atmosphere is always bright and the food is exceptional. I recommend the bowls as they fill you up and they are definitely delicious. There's a CrossFit place right next door so you'll see the occasional gym shorts attire in the restaurant. read more

Absolutely loved their services, very friendly staff. Appetizers and entrees were delicious. My friend and I had the BBQ Chicken Nachos (they serve the baked child instead of the tortilla chip, I personally liked their chips), Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes( I loved the smooth yummy taste of it), Tuna Avocado Sushi Bowl and for dessert, we had the coconut blondie brownie which is called The Lucy. This place has happy hours on their appetizer and beautiful outside dining arrangements as well. Beautiful location and very clean environment. read more

We moved to the area at the beginning of November and kept wondering what the place behind CVS with all the pretty lights was, and I finally drove by the other day and said we definitely had to check it out! We just left from lunch and everything was SO delicious! We started with the Parmesan kale dip- it was creamy and rich. It had amazing flavor and the won won chips were a nice change of pace from regular tortilla chips. I had the loaded grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was nothing short of amazing and "hit the spot". The soup was so creamy and tasted like it was made at home. My husband had the red rooster sliders I think they were called, and he said they were awesome. The perfect amount of sweet and spicy! My daughter, she's 1, had the chicken tenders and fruit. I tasted her chicken and it seriously tasted like grandma fried it at home. It tasted like it was hand battered, and fried in a cast iron skillet- not in old fryer oil like most restaurants. I have a hard time getting her to eat any kind of meat, and she took a good 6-7 bites of the chicken itself! The fruit was super fresh too, and it was a GOOD amount. Our waitress Whytni was absolutely AMAZING! She was very tentative without being overbearing, was very knowledgeable of the menu items, and was super friendly! This place can truly be stated as one of the nicest restaurants in a town that is known for nice restaurants. After reading so many other reviews I finally decided to give this place a shot and it was great! Going into the restaurant was pleasant and it was easy to find. We had no issues with parking or anything else that you commonly find at crowded restaurants. Getting in for a party of 6, we were seated almost immediately which is pretty much unheard of. Our waitress was quick to stop by the table, introduce herself, and get a drink order from us. It was a few minutes later, she stopped by again with our drinks and took our orders. The menu is surprisingly affordable for the type of atmosphere it is compared to similar experiences that I've had. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and it was very tasty. Dessert was also very good, I had the Lucy Sundae. When we left, I felt completely satisfied and was very happy with my whole experience. My Wife had Chicken Fried Chicken with fresh green beans and sour cream-chive mashed potatoes. We were told we couldn't be served if we sat outside! They told us to order at the bar and we could sit outside. They put our food in takeaway containers! Then when we sat on the patio, a waitress came by and told us we would have to move because there were people who needed to be served. She put a reservation sign on our table as we quickly finished our meals. I'm not sure why other people could be served on the patio and not us? We bought three meals and three drinks. We ate lunch on the patio today. Logan was our server and she was outstanding! It was the first time I've eaten in a restaurant since Covid started and it was great. Felt totally safe on the patio. The service was subpar. This is a generic spot that used to offer high quality but now doesn't but keep their high prices because they figure there's a dummy born every day. I ordered a shrimp dish and it came with 8 small pieces of shrimp. My meal was completely underwhelming. The ambiance is rustic and too bright and too loud. It is literally a house that's been turned into a restaurant.

My mom and I have visited Dudley's a couple of times since I left my original review, and I can honestly say we've noticed a big difference. The wait staff has been much more attentive, welcoming, and engaged. The atmosphere feels much more like the Dudley's we fell in love with. One of the things I mentioned before was wanting everyone to feel equally welcomed, and I'm happy to say our recent visits have reflected that. We truly appreciate the effort because it made our experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you for listening to your customers and continuing to make Dudley's a place where people enjoy coming to relax, have a glass of wine, and spend time together. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I each got a salad. Blackened chicken salad and a Tuscan ancient grains/shrimp salad and a bread basket. Again, Delicious! I can't wait until I go again! Tip: there is a City of Fate parking lot behind the restaurant. You will need to walk around a few steps to the front. GPS takes you to a more limited parking area.

He will do well once he learns the ropes!

The jasmine rice and black beans were great as well. My wife ordered a steak quesadilla. She loved it. Our server was excellent. The entire visit was great and I can't wait to come back. Since we were going to the show, why not go for dinner? I mean we have never been. Love that you can book reservations online. Super easy to get through the gate and it has amazing views. We were greeted by the host who was so kind. The place was super busy, I assume due to the show. So, we had to wait about 10 minutes. Table right in the middle of action... 1 min... 2 min... 7 minutes no greeting nothing and a woman walks by and says she will be right us. Cool. Thanks for letting us know. Walks past us 4 more times and nothing. The good thing is clearly someone else noticed and brought us water and said she was helping while the server got caught up. Okay. Everything will be OK. Whole ordering our drinks the server took over. Ordered drinks. App and 2 entrees. Then she was gone. 30 minutes after seating... nothing. Not even drinks yet. 32 minutes... she brings my husband's can of beer. No glass. No manhatten. She says they are working on mine. After 32 minutes (at least 20 minutes after ordering our drink)... can we have a glass? 5+ minutes later she brings me my manhattan... in a wine glass? Before I smell it I ask if its a manhattan because it looked like wine (damn good pour). Her response... I don't know. Never had one before. And still no glass. A. The Manhattan was fabulous and a ridiculously amazing pour. And for the cost... damn. Thats amazing. We decided she never rang in our drinks. Its the only thing that makes sense. It had really quieted down and the bartenders were working hard. And thats fine. But own it. Another 40 minutes and she stopped by once. Said our food was coming. But honestly haven't had a server who seemed to care less about her table in quite a while. Food came about 45 minutes after ordering. We ordered the Philly egg rolls... flavor was awesome. But they were cold. Clearly they had been sitting... for a while. Literally the cheese had melted onto each other and cooled. The entrees came at the same time. Smash burger and chicken fried chicken. Both honestly really good. The mashed potatoes were cold though... not sure if its because they werent kept warm in the prep station or if our plates just died waiting on server. Flavors were good though, including the gravy and fries. Good seasoning. We asked for ranch. Can you believe she never brought it? Nope us either. Seriously. The service was the worst we had in a while. It seemed exlusive to our table/server. I finally got her name at the end... Leandra. I am not trying to put her on blast everyone has a bad night. When my husband asked about the ranch. She said oh I forgot that too.. no apologies for that or the entire night. I said well it has been a rough night... she said yep. Here's the check. We are super nice... lots of grace... but this service made me almost want to not return. But... this is a small business trying to create something for our community. So im going to return oncs more and score is based on potential. But please owners.... staff is hard to come by, and maybe it was a rough night... but no one will survive if 30 minutes with not even drinks and cold food is acceptable.
