And that they need to dig out under the house. After having herk's come by and give his opinion, he said the pipe was already replaced and roots were coming in from the connection. He helped my mom call the city for them to take care of it, which they did. Cleaning out the line of roots and also apply weed and roots killer. He explained everything very well and also let my mom see what he saw on camera and explained it to her so she understands what's really going on. Disappointing Customer Service…read more I purchased all of my home appliances, including my washer and dryer, from Direct Appliance, so I was very disappointed with how they handled an issue with my dishwasher. The dishwasher stopped cleaning properly, particularly the top rack. A technician came out, spent only 5-10 minutes looking at it, and concluded that the dishwasher pods were creating too many suds--even though I was using the recommended pods. I called back and explained that the issue clearly wasn't resolved. I was told the lead technician would contact me, but he never did. A few weeks later, I called again because the problem persisted. They wanted to charge me another service fee to come back out. After going back and forth with the service department, I was told, "We have the right to refuse to service you," and that notes would be placed on my account. I ultimately diagnosed and fixed the problem myself. A 30-cent screw had come loose, causing a loss of water pressure to the top rack--a common issue with these dishwashers. What frustrates me most is that the problem could have been identified with a more thorough inspection. Instead, the technician settled on the first explanation and left. After spending a significant amount of money with this business on our appliances, I expected much better customer service and support. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Direct Appliance.
