So I'm not happy with the bike so on 9/18/25 a couple days later go back to Best Buy to return the bike. They tell me that they will return scooters but they will not return E bikes. I told them nobody told me this at checkout. They told me there is nothing they can do so I'm warning all consumers do not buy e-bikes from Best Buy. They sell trash and you cannot get your money back now I'm stuck with something I'm afraid to ride or let anybody ride because they're gonna get hurt or even killed. And when I went in found out that they lowered the price again. A clock I bought had some cosmetic damage and he just shipped me a replacement. Easy peasy - I dare say even more convenient than a regular IKEA store where you have to wait in line for pickup and walk / navigate far. Just wish that the inventory of the nearby stores could all be picked up at this Colma location (most items were available for pickup but not all). In and out within a few minutes, and a super convenient location for those coming from San Francisco so they don't have to cross toll or drive super far down to E Palo Alto!

I had gone to Home Depot, Lowes and two other plumbing supply stores to find a solution for how to fit a different size Dorn Bracht hose to the water line. Everyone was clueless. The best advice I received was to go to an auto parts store as it appeared as is the hose was metric. I then contacted my plumber who suggested I go to visit Hung at LP Decorative Plumbing. Hung knew exactly what I needed and had it in stock. Within minutes of arriving at the cluttered LP shop I had the part in hand. He knows his stuff! I even had leak when I installed the new part, and Hung helped me troubleshoot the problem. Try to get that level of service from Home Depot.

So I went to LP and I believe Hung is the owner of the store, he has a lot variety of kitchen faucet and he explained that very well to me on each one, during the conversation I explained what's the problem on my kitchen faucet and he told me I don't really need to get a new one, don't waste your money because it is only a simple fix so he taught me step by step how to clean the flow separator but unfortunately it won't work so I decided to take the whole thing back to the shore and ask Hung. He just took a quick look and took some parts out and do a little cleaning. Unbelievably my kitchen faucet work as new with strong water flow. That save me a couple hundred dollar from buying a new faucet. I will definitely refer this place to my friends and families, too bad I can't give this store a 10 star otherwise I will do so. The cabinet price…read morethey quoted me ended up being at least a couple thousand more than the place I ended up choosing and they were not as nice either (the East Star ones were particle board while the other ones were wood, the other ones were soft close which these were not, my actual layout ended up having almost entirely drawers on the base cabinets which wasn't included in the East Star price and so it would have been even higher than the quote they gave me, and so on). I was also looking for countertops and their options left a lot to be desired. They were maybe slightly cheaper than the other place ($40 difference for a standard countertop size of 110" by 26") but way less options and didn't look as nice. Mostly they were just not that helpful and I also didn't love their selections. I left searching for other options pretty quickly. I think one reason to maybe come here is the prices but in my experience even those were higher and the quality and selection were worse. In addition, ideally you want someone who can actually help you figure out a layout and make you feel like you want to shop there and I didn't get that sense. Maybe I just had a bad experience but even though I came in having some idea of what I wanted, I definitely did not get the vibe that this was where I would find it.

Not only were their prices the most competitive, but their work and people are also outstanding and courteous. I had to order most of the supplies but they guided me through it. They handled all the electrical, plumbing, new windows and a door and handled all the permitting paperwork of the process. The best part was their flexibility. They followed all my custom request to fit a cat water fountain and step-stool storage. In the middle of the construction, they actually suggested that we have space to get an 18"-dishwasher installed which is my most favorite part of the renovation. My review may be overdue, but hey, even after two years, everything still works and looks great (although not as clean and pristine like the photos because of all the cooking we actually now enjoy doing, plus two toddlers and two cats lol). So that tells something about the quality of work that they do!

At the start, Dmitriy took care of getting the permits and scheduling all inspections during the whole process. Karen, who did our remodel, is excellent and ensured everything was up to code and done the proper way. We have 2 young children so we were a little concerned about safety before we started the renovation but Karen made sure everything was carefully taped off and the space was cleaned up as much as possible at the end of each day. We do recommend having a good air filter running nearby though to pick up any stray dust. Since we're not designers, having input from both Dmitriy and Karen throughout the entire process was invaluable. There were many decisions to make during the renovation, and their expertise and experience made a huge difference. Additionally, Karen recommended some local suppliers, where we were able to source a number of our materials. Overall, we highly recommend Dmitriy and Karen for anyone looking to remodel.
