6 out of 5 stars! So I was cleaning my toilet and got a scrubber that goes on the end of a Clorox magic wand stuck. I tried to fish it out and it just didn't work. Tried a wire hanger, a hair faucet de-clogger. Came here for a toilet snake aka auger. They had it. As other people said... the guy who helped me was so, so, so helpful. He explained to me how it works, showed me a diagram, etc. Came home, gave it a try, and on the second try the water from the bowl just went on back to the city pipes! Great success. The auger was pricier ($60) than the cheaper ones they sell at chain hardware stores/online BUT after watching YouTube videos it looked way better than those ones. More professional, More sanitary even. Guess I have an auger for life. Thank you! read more

WB Plumbing Supply - Plumbing Near Me - San Francisco, California

You just KNOW this place is good when two of your most trusted local plumbing repair companies come here to get their parts. How do I know? I see their vans and crews parked right outside! Out here in the Outer Sunset, this is the best stocked plumbing supply place for miles around, barring those across town in the Mission. WB has tons of parts that you need for pretty much any plumbing repair, all freshly stocked with high turnover in new parts considering there are so many professional plumbers and contractors that come in here to get what they need. To top it off, the service is friendly here too, even for amateurs like me. They were able to find a hard-to-find part for my toilet, and the prices are still very very reasonable. Yeah.. this is my go-to-place on the West side of this fair City for plumbing parts for sure! read more

Needed a fitting for my home diy tepair job. Could'nt find it anywhere in the outer sunset. Found this place on yelp and headed over. They actually had it! The employees were busy with other customers. I had no luck trying to find it myself. The employee that initially saw me when I walked in finished with his customer and came over to ask if I needed help. I did my best to describe what I was looking for and was out of there less than 5 minutes later with everything I needed! He even took the time to explain how all the fittings were supposed to go together. All around excellent experience! read more

I was getting frustrated with an issue with a drain pipe being too short, and even going to my local ace, they don't have the correct size. I came here and talked to Julian, who helped with my solution. I brought the drain pipe that was giving me issues, and he quickly offered to cut the pipe to the size I wanted. I got the pipe home and completed the repair job in no time; it was cheaper than getting it from my local hardware store and cutting it for free. Excellent customer experience all around. read more

Great guys, they saved me big bucks $$$! I'm not a plumber by any means. My kitchen sink was leaking both hot & cold . The faucet is an old style, it's hard to find replacement parts. To replace the faucet would cost around 100+ dollars! WB plumbing had the parts I needed & I ended up paying $9.22 ! WB could have made money off me & didn't. From now on I'll go to WB plumbing 1st when I need any plumbing advice or product read more

Needed to replace a toilet seat. Looked up part on Home Depot's website. Seat not available at stores (online only). Not wanting to wait for delivery I stopped into WB plumbing. After a short wait, I approached the counter and told the staff what I needed. I showed him photos that depict how the seat was mounted. The young man looked up part and gave me a price ($1 more than Home Depot). He went and came back with a box. I started to ask questions hoping to confirm that it was the correct seat for my toilet. Another worker overheard my questions and jumped in to assist. The second worker suggested a different seat and sure glad he did. The replacement seat worked out perfectly at a competitive price. Thank you WB! read more

I can't really can't complain because everything worked out ok . I bought a Delta sink faucet several years ago @ WB Plumbing supply. The hot &cold washerless valves were leaking & couldn't get the pair of valves that came with the faucet & had to improvise. Almost had to special order however what I purchased worked fine. ( new & lmproved )? A little frustrating that the original parts seem to be hard to find/replace. After all I purchased the Delta faucet from WB plumbing supply. When it's all said and done my faucet works good as new & WB plumbing supply helped me get through this anomaly. Ty WB plumbing supply read more

I've been coming here for water heaters for decades. The price used to be lower, but still better than at the big box places. Service is good but they cater more to the professionals than DIYers. Great service! These guys rock! I went in looking for the "J" pipe piece for a bathroom sink P-trap. The guys there greeted me but were helping other customers. I waited my turn and the guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and showed me what I needed. He even helped me save some $ by showing me that a whole new P-trap pipe ($10) would cost less than the piece I was looking for. I went to this place when it was formerly U-Save Plumbing and those guys sucked! The new WB Plumbing guys are awesome! I bought the P-trap but when I went home to install it, one piece was too long so I went back and told them. The worker offered to cut it shorter for me for free! What great customer service! They made it easy for me to buy what I needed and made sure I was taken care of. A+! I will be shopping at this store for my plumbing supplies from now on. Thank you WB Plumbing! read more

I needed a new bathroom P trap and the employee there was very helpful with the selection of the drainage plumbing kit as well as the gauge thickness which was #17. Amazing selection, service, and pricing! I learned about this spot from a friend when I was remodeling a kitchen and bathroom and these guys were able to supply all my requirements. This is the kind of review for a great store that you hesitate to write because you want to keep it a local's secret, but these guys seriously deserve credit and recognition for their knowledgeable and generous customer service. I spent at least 30 minutes getting free advice from Will on the best way to fix a complex issue with a very low flow shower. He walked me through his inventory assortment and spent time explaining the different features you get at various price points. You just can't find this level of service online or at a chain hardware store. In a nutshell - great spot for both light residential plumbing needs and licensed professional business. Highly recommended!! read more

After strolling through the Moraga Steps and having lunch on Irving with my sister, I decided to drop by this place to ask about my water heater issues since it has been making some weird bumping noises from time to time. It's a pretty old water heater anyway with collections of spider webs and rust buildup on the outside, so I was thinking it was time for a new one. Service: It seemed like a lot of plumbing contractors were here as I saw some vans and their logos parked nearby. It was quite busy when I went in, but while standing in line I overheard the guys at the counter talking about tankless water heaters and how to calculate something called BTU for tankless units and how it is energy-efficient. They seemed very knowledgable and proficient about their products as they helped other clients. The guys answered any questions that I had and listed some options to compare like tankless water heaters or storage tank water heaters. I eventually opted for their Bradford White water heater, since we have about 8 people using water in our house. I was unsure about how it could be installed since I know nothing about plumbing stuff, but they were able to refer me to a plumbing contractor, who was also very knowledgable and installed the water heater with stability and in a timely manner. Parking: There's plenty of street parking, with 2-hour parking spots all around, and lots of residential all-day parking very close by. I like how convenient it is to Irving where all the food places are too, and the streets at this plumbing supply are less crowded, which makes it less stressful when looking for parking. Overall, their customer service is excellent and I would definitely recommend WB for your plumbing needs and their advice in general. They are really nice and have great sense of humor. That will keep me coming back here when I need anything to fix around my house regarding plumbing issues or modifications. Thank you WB! read more

Excellent customer service!!! I called in to see if the store have the supplies I need to fix my kitchen sink clog. I told the guy my sink and situation, and wanted to fix it myself. Then, he explained what I may need to fix my problem. Then, I realized it was not something I can easily fix on my own. I asked for recommendations. He gave me few recommendations to choose from. I had someone came by and snaked my kitchen sink. It's working great again! I forgot to ask the gentleman's name. He sounds very smart, nice, and knowledgeable over the phone. I bookmarked this place for my future need now. :)) read more
