I had my water heater break. I had a local plumber come out and he gave me a very high quote and…read moresaid he couldn't just swap out the one I had with a replacement but had to do a major change. I called Excalibur and they said this wasn't true. They could install a similar model of tankless water heater to the one I had. Their quote was almost $2000 less than the other plumber. I since had an HVAC company come out for something else and mentioned I had to change the heater recently. I told him what I paid and he said that was honestly a good price. Excalibur seemed honest and helpful and they were able to come out first thing the next morning and get my heater replaced. They did a good job and the new unit looks better installed than the original. They also gave me advice on how to maintain it and what maintenance I could do myself to descale it etc so it doesn't break again. Overall happy either way the service even though overall it was expensive it was still less than other quotes I got.

"Dane" was a very smooth sounding robot. However, when I pressed the AI "are you a real person" it said "I am a customer service agent". Thanks Tim for serving us since 2018!…read more What a live saver Tim is and his technique is topnotch! Call him for your plumbing l/ electrical needs. If he's available to serve you, you will be in good hands, trust me! Our place was built in the 50s and the plumbing was really out dated. That said a lot of the pipes were old. On a Saturday the basement part just broke when we were working something around it. Water splashed everywhere. The only way to stop that was to shut off the main wove and that we couldn't use water anywhere else in the house either. It was around 5 pm on a Saturday evening. We called everywhere tried to have people come in give us quotes, and of course, most of them jack up the price to sky high. What was even more ridiculous was almost all of them doesn't even know what they were doing. I don't even know how to put it, but it was just my gut feeling that even if I were to pay them that price they were not going to be able to fix it. And I i was right-the thing that they sort of ran through with us what they will do to solve the issue was totally BS. Look back, they wouldn't even have the tools and parts ready. Now back to more details of how great Tim is. After calling and making appointments with many different vendors we could find and were offering service around that hours, for to Tim's TRZ business around 7 pm. He picked up the phone and arrived our place very quickly. To be honest, we were so desperate at that point that we would pay anything Now back to more details of how great Tim is. After calling and making appointments with many different vendors we could find and were offering service around that hours, for to Tim's TRZ business around 7 pm. He picked up the phone and arrived our place very quickly. To be honest, we were so desperate at that point that we would pay anything to get this plumbing issue fixed so we can go on for our weekend. When we told him what we were quoted on, he laughed and said those were crazy quotes and told us not to worry. That alone made me feel better, I didn't know what to expect yet at that point but I was willing to take the chance as he showed up and brought good vibe: he was well prepared that his tool box filled with different kinds of parts and in well organized fashion! He clearly knows what he's doing, with in no time he fixed our plumbing issue. He was so kind that there was one part he didn't have (as mentioned our place is old) he drove out to pick up the part just like that- not even ask for extra or anything. At the end, the bill was super reasonable- unlike other lame business- include some big names you are all familiar with. And that's included if a generous tips. How nice the world will be if more business/ people in general don't try to take advantage of people when they are in needs. Instead giving genuine support and good work. Thanks again Tim. You are our saving angle!

All other agency's quoted me $350 and above including $150 surcharge just to look at the problem. I was very frustrated since I was strapped on cash. I called Tim at TRZ which gave me a honest quote over the phone of $250. He got to my residence in about 25 mins and fixed the problem in about an hour and half because it was clogged so bad! I never write reviews on yelp but this man not only gave me a honest quote, he did not charge me anything more, I only had $300 on me which I told him over the phone. I wish I was able to tip the man more because he deserved more than $300 for canceling his plans on a Saturday night. I recommend Tim to anyone that is having any type of plumbing issues, his honesty, professionalism and knowledge puts him above all.

They also unclogged a sink, quickly, which is something we forgot to mention when we called. I've met a lot of smart people, like we all have. These guys can run with any of them. They're not just packing wrenches in their tool belts; they have multiple intelligences in there as well, visual/spacial, logical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal,...and they are humble, with great senses of humor. Bernardo also pointed out that the screws on our outdoor kitchen granite counter were going to leave rust spots, which they had started to already. That's the kind of professionals they are. They come to help, not just to put their heads down, do the job and leave. Just an all around smart guy that you would do well to have in your life. Outstanding Experience with Fast Response Plumbing…read more I contacted seven different companies to get estimates for replacing my sewer line and house trap, and from the very first conversation with Tim, I had a great feeling about Fast Response Plumbing. After speaking with him and researching reviews on Yelp, it became clear that this is one of the top plumbing companies in San Francisco for this type of work. Not only were their prices competitive, but I also saved thousands of dollars compared to some of the other estimates I received. Customer feedback played a major role in my decision. While a few other companies on Yelp appeared to have similar ratings at first glance, a closer inspection revealed many reviews (sometimes hundreds) were filtered or removed and not counted. That raised concerns about the authenticity of their ratings. In contrast, Fast Response Plumbing's reviews appeared genuine and consistent, which gave me even more confidence in choosing them. I'm extremely happy with the results. Every aspect of the project exceeded my expectations: * Competitive and fair pricing * Excellent communication throughout the entire process * Smooth permit handling with no issues * Expert concrete restoration after the excavation work * Outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail One thing that particularly impressed me was that they installed a 5-inch sewer trap instead of simply replacing the existing 4-inch trap. That thoughtful upgrade will make any future servicing much easier and demonstrates their commitment to doing the job right rather than just meeting the minimum requirements. They also made payment easy by allowing online credit card payments, which was a nice convenience. Honestly, I struggle to think of anything they could have done better. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, skilled, and genuinely committed to delivering quality work. They went above and beyond every step of the way. If you're looking for a trustworthy plumbing company in San Francisco for sewer line or house trap replacement, I highly recommend Fast Response Plumbing. Thank you to Tim and the entire team for a job exceptionally well done!

Theirs came in at a very reasonable rate, and most importantly, they had capacity to start as soon as possible because we had an urgent sewer line failure. When I called, I believe I came into contact with the owner. I explained to him the scope of the job, and I even told him that he probably doesn't need to send a plumber out because, at this point, we are just comparing costs and I even hinted that we were desperate to get started as soon as possible based on what was told to us by the other plumbers that came out. The owner told me that he'd send a plumber out anyway to do their own scope, since other plumbers may have not been consistent, he could have very easily taken advantage of my desperation in this time, but he didn't David was the only plumber out of the many bids we got who actually called us out and showed us what was on the camera, and explained to us what was happening underneath our house. Within 24 hours, he got the quote back to us. Again, he knew it was an emergency, so the turnaround was great! He came out with a nicely staffed crew. Within a few days, our floor was jackhammered, there was a mound of dirt in our garage, and within the next few days, they connected our sewer line, so we were only without water for a few hours at most. The sewer line installation passed city inspection (SF) the first time. the dirt was quickly backfilled, with concrete poured on top. From a little over a week to the initial consultation, we had a perfectly working sewer line, and we were able to park in our driveway. they were very neat after they completed their job, and they even cleaned out our garage where all the backfill dirt was being stored. I highly recommend them for your sewer repairs, and they will be our new plumber going forward.
