Tim came out to replace my 50 Gallon Gas Water Heater on March 1, 2026. To start, Tim was extremely responsive, proactive, and transparent when conversing over text message. He was flexible on time, and showed up in a very timely manner once we were ready to go. When Tim arrived, he immediately inspected our current setup, explained some changes he'd have to make to accommodate our new heater, and promptly got to work. He was finished in about 1:45h, including some soldering work. He left behind a clean work station and took care of everything on his own. His pricing was similar to multiple other quotes we had gotten in the area, but I don't believe you can top his level of workmanship, professionalism, or efficiency. Tim seems very honest with reasonable prices. I contacted him about doing a maintenance on our hot water heater. He gave a price of $175, which was a lot less than the other estimate I received. However, he advised not to waste my money. He said my heater is only 5 years old and I live in SF which has good water so there was no need to perform a draining and flushing of the tank. I did have him do a maintenance on a tankless heater at another property. He arrived on time, did the maintenance, which is more important with tankless heaters. His price seemed reasonable.
