The instructor goes over everything on screen so you can watch before you move forward with each step. I always think its going to be hard but honestly its just so fun and who cares if your cookies turn out perfect or not. Mine never do but I am always impressed with how well I actually do. I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. As Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond would say, the stomach knows not ugly and these are delicious no matter the result. We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! All the employees are helpful and kind. They check in a right amount, and do a great job not making you feel rushed. 10/10 environment. Their pieces change through the year, so it's nice to come back and find seasonal things to paint. They close at 9:00pm, but we've found ourselves here for a few hours, so plan accordingly! The only downsides I've found are after the firing process is done. Some of our old pieces from when we first came a few years ago have crazing, which makes the pottery unsafe for food or drink. If your piece is for decoration, it should be fine. I haven't noticed it on newer pieces, so they may have adjusted the way their fire them. The second thing is that all my pieces, new and old, have pin marks from being supported in the kiln. It prevents a smooth surface, but also, I've noticed it's an entry way for moisture, which makes it unsafe for food and drink. One of my pieces held onto moisture after washing it because of the pin holes. All this to say, it doesn't deter us from visiting. We still love coming to Kitsch and will continue to visit. Its a great place to catch up, go on a date, or just hang out.

Every time I visit, the staff has been very helpful. When I am wandering around, someone always approaches me to see if I need any help. There is so much merchandise, it's great to have staff to assist the customers in finding the items on their list. I have bought materials for watercolor, drawing, and journaling classes. They even sell skeins of yarn that I've bought for my crochet class! Blick offers a student discount. This past weekend, I took advantage of their Fall sale and online coupon. The Michael's have a wide variety of art, craft, yarn and part supplies, which makes it easy to find what I need in one trip. The store is usually organized, and items are mostly on in stock. I like coming here for holidays decoration, as well. The staff is generally nice when I've asked questions, especially when looking for specific materials. Prices can be a little high at times, but the coupons and sales make a big difference. Recently, the store offers self checkout which is nice when you're coming in for a couple items. Overall, Michaels is a convenient and dependable for simple decorations on holidays to bring cheers to the office or classroom settings.

The area is sub-divided into sections that seem to try to create a little of everything -- there are spaces for gatherings, worship, paintings and a small gift shop. Food options are limited to just a couple of snack bars, which don't really compare to as much options like 99 Ranch. There is also offering to learn mahjong! One bright spot, though, is the wishing tree, which is a very welcoming and thoughtful touch. Too bad, the paper was out.
