I had no Idea that Scotts Garden Center had such a variety of options form my gardening needs. They even had cucumber plants. The next day, we called and got the "our new system took too many orders" story and a promise of a call-back. After more phone tag, we finally got a manager whom stated they wouldn't be able to deliver for another week, and would waive the delivery charge. That ended up being true, but they showed up unannounced! Luckily someone was home so our cars wouldn't be blocked by yards of mulch. To top it off, the receipt given to already upset customers was emblazoned with a handwritten "tips appreciated" and a smiley face. Nice. And you know what? We did tip the driver. It wasn't his fault. It's management's fault for complete lack of communication and continuing place huge ads in the Dispatch when they can't fulfill already taken orders.

She gave me the number to their "corporate" office who mind you hasn't picked up and I have called 5 times now. It is so sad to see local businesses rip their customers off.

I am more of an indoor plant person, as I don't have a very good vision for outdoor landscaping. They didn't have many indoor plant offerings. You could tell that they were still setting up the new location (I hope) as there were things clearly out of place. They do have a large variety of tree offerings, and a good selection of different fruit tree varieties. The tags on the trees were very helpful in finding the perfect replacement tree for my front yard. I picked out the most beautiful Redhaven Peach tree. It was pricier than what you would find at Lowe's or Costco, but she did look to be in better health than the cheaper trees. She is in the ground and growing baby peaches already! They also offer a 1-year warranty on their trees as well, which was a nice addition. This is a good nursery if looking for trees.

Well-built retaining walls and two large paver patios - along with new trees, shrubs, and perennials - have added significantly to our family's enjoyment of our home. Jered Seely's expertise in both hardscape and landscape designs is exceptional. He incorporated our preferences into a workable plan with an attractive result. We especially appreciated Jered's utilization of a computer program that allowed us to view how proposed plantings of trees, shrubs, and perennials would look when placed along the front of our house. The quality of the crew responsible for executing the designs was likewise exceptional. They were hardworking, courteous, respectful, and professional. Special kudos to Tyler and J-rod! A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. This nursery doesn't look like much from the road, but it is truly a hidden gem! Check it out the next time you have landscaping and gardening needs!
