The best thing about the place is that they have great descriptions for each plant. They give you the days, what they are good for (e.g. canning, salsa), sun or shade, expectant yield, and whatever else you want to know. They have a very good variety of Tomatoes and peppers. The 16.99 a flat also goes for most of the plants here as well. They have two main greenhouses as well as plants outside. The place isn't huge but you will get excellent service and a good price. This is better than going to Meijer, WalMart or other places like it. It is a nice place with a very nice staff.

Otherwise, our experience was overwhelmingly subpar for the investment. We asked for a simple front yard landscaping revamp. There were more misses than wins with the overall delivery: 1) Design proposal took longer than quoted (no big deal, I know they're busy), and was missing a key part we originally asked for (and got an "oops sorry, here's a haphazard fix"). Design still lacked some our accessory asks, but we decided to disregard those anyway. I feel as though our vision wasn't heard and believe me, I am an over-communicator. Maybe budget was an unspoken obstacle? But if so, it should have been communicated - we were flexible! 2) The install day was never scheduled, and the install team showed up unannounced without designer oversight as promised. Luckily I was able to arrange to stay home for the install. 3) We were charged for new plants, that we didn't receive. Instead they "transplanted" our dead plants that looked awful (these were the reason we were investing in new landscaping altogether). 4) Old random foliage and plants were left in our landscape (likely with intention, because they planted the new around them which threw off spacing). 5) Some plants did not take and remained weed-y, even with frequent and appropriate watering. When addressed, we were told we were not watering enough... doubt it, but ok. See photos. I'm shocked they thought this was acceptable, and didn't ask how to handle if there was question at the time of install. We ended up needing to replant about half of the overall work ourselves. Old plant concerns were remedied on our invoice, and follow-up communication was prompt from the designer at least. Won't re-engage.

The clerk came out and they told me they didn't have it. They couldn't refund my money because they didn't have the "code". I would have to call their corporate office (but they could not give me that number-- they said I could look it up) or I could "come back some other time.' They don't care about their customers or providing good service.

I ordered their bulk topsoil and it was basically mulch. It smelled like mulch, looked like mulch,…read moreand it burns (very dry). When I took them a sample, they told me it was their topsoil. Do not buy their topsoil, however it would make great ground cover, aka mulch. The picture shows what they delivered on the left, and what i pulled from their top soil bin. They told me they were the same. The one on the right clumps and holds together. The one on the left will not clump and doubt plants could hold root in it. Additionally, the call center has said a manager would call me back. After multiple attempts at calling I have not heard from a manager. They do not care.

I recently lost my father and was gifted this peace lily from his funeral. I successfully killed it in the matter of a couple weeks. I took my sad plant to their little shop explained what was going on and how much this plant meant to me. He showed me what pot to buy (which I knew I was gonna need) and they repotted it for free with the purchase of the ceramic pot with drip tray. Gave me a quick plant lesson on how to care for it and sent me on my way. It's officially 6 months later and my peace lily has now bloomed and is thriving. There are numerous "ranch hands" (green shirts) walking around assisting customers. They are very knowledgeable. Trisha said it's her 5th year working there and we could tell she was happy and enjoyed talking to people. Another ranch hand, Austin, readily went to get Pat a cart for her purchases. They really thought of everything. They sell coffee, snacks, cold drinks, and there was even a dog treat vendor since it is a dog-friendly place. They sell any kind of plant accessory, and brand tees. I noticed there was incense burning in the house plant building. The areas are identified by the giant statues, for instance, we were in the Unicorn space where we were looking at shade perennials. There is a separate building where you can check out, with multiple cashiers so the wait wasn't long. There was also live music from a 3 person band playing instruments and singing. It was only a 30 minute drive from Columbus and worth a visit. It is worth many visits if you want to purchase lots of plants.
