Chicken Parm Oml. X 1 Cinnamon Roll pancake
    Lori D.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute diner like vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great! My waitress was fast & super friendly. I was completely underwhelmed by the food. I had the chicken parm omelette & the cinnamon roll pancake for my side. The omelette was decent but the fried chicken on top was so bland and the breading was peeling off of the meat. It was very much giving frozen chicken. As for the side, the pancake itself was again, decent but the cream cheese icing that was drizzled on top tasted like the little can of cream cheese icing that comes with the pillsbury cinnamon rolls. I overall was just not impressed.

    Pancake Beignets

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fine. Everyone was nice. The coffee was terrible and especially for the good brand of coffee. It must've been sitting there too long or too strong, but it was gross. Hibiscus and gravy were not the greatest. I've had much better. The tot bowl was not bad. The pancake beignets we're not cooked in the middle. One lady said it was cream, but beignets are cooked all the way through and it did taste like pancake batter. Sadly we will not be back.

I visit often for the Philly Omelet, but today's experience was a huge letdown. The omelet was severely undercooked (liquid eggs inside), and the biscuit tasted like it was directly out of the fridge into a mitco. I ended up leaving 80% of my meal on the plate. I really hope this was a one-time fluke and not the new standard.

This was my first time visiting and I can't wait to go back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire experience was great from the service to the food to the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm so glad they have various options. I tried chicken sausage for the first time and it was delicious. They are full of flavor. I had the egg whites to go along with it as well as the Gouda cheese grits. Everything was really good and filling. The pancake was delicious. I can't wait to go back for more. The caramel macchiato was good as well. The price point is good as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is at the end of a strip mall and right beside Chilis. The parking lot is pretty small. This place has a digital waitlist on Yelp that we previously used but today was a slow day so we just walked in. This is a brunch spot favorite on the weekend but during the week it is not busy at all. You are welcome to sit down at any open table. You wait in line with the menu and place your order up front. You have to pay and tip before your experience starts. Then you sit down and wait for your food. The food was great and the service was much better this time. We got our food in about 15 minutes. I ordered the Cinnamon roll pancake and chicken parmesan omelet. Be sure to ask for syrup. The pancake tasted good and just like a cinnamon roll. You will need water to wash down all the sugar. The chicken parmesan omelet was the highlight. Regular omelet filled with cheese and spinach but on top is a fried chicken filet topped with marinara sauce.

Always a fun stop for us! I love the lavender latte they have! No matter what food we try, we're happy. This time I got the avocado toast and it was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool vibes, good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I picked a sweet spot time to visit, which was around 11am on a Sunday. Most places would be packed, but they didn't start getting a line until after noon. They have an interesting counter service order procedure where you need to secure a table (on your own) prior to ordering, so they can bring your food to that table. I enjoyed my chicken sausage skillet, but it was oddly kinda sweet. So I put a little Cholula on it, but it didn't change the flavor. My friend ordered the egg rolls, but only ate 1 because he didn't like them. Overall, they have a vast menu to explore, including lunch items. Check them out.

The folks here are nice and the food is delivered quickly. Overall, you're going for breakfast and getting breakfast fare. My one concern is that it can be quite loud between the music volume and the natural noise of the diners. That.m being said, the manager has been responsive to my concerns about the speaker volume and turned them down in the past. Again--the folks here are great. Recently they added new menu items and let patrons sample them. The eggs Benedict with salmon and a Dijon-based sauce was solid. Otherwise, we snag the large stack and split it between two adults and a 2 year old.

A solid 4! Great atmosphere and customer service. Staff works as a team! You order at the cashier and pay before sitting to eat. We were greeted immediately as we walked thru the door. We were the last to leave after they closed but they didn't rush us. Order one meal it is enough food. Skip the alcohol, don't get me wrong the bartender does not disappoint. But the flight was 24$. But it was so good! And yes they serve more than breakfast items like pasta and more.

I read the reviews about wait times and was nervous about coming here but we like to eat local and it wasn't too far from our hotel. We literally got there right before the crowd rush did so things worked out for us. Basically, you get in line at the counter, order and tell them what table you'll sit at. It wasn't that busy so we didn't have to grab a table first. I ordered the short stack with scrambled eggs and ordered the blueberry syrup with regular coffee. My friend got two pancakes, a side of bacon and grits and regular coffee. I wish I had gone with the two pancakes. The pancakes were amazing and they were huge! The short stack came with four. My friend and I could have split that order. The blueberry syrup was more like a compote to me. It wasn't the texture and taste I was hoping for. The eggs were the liquid/powder kind which I wouldn't have ordered if I knew that. My friend said her bacon was good but her grits looked like oatmeal and did not taste good at all. We decided that maybe it was actually cream of wheat or something because they were definitely not the grits we expected her to receive. Service is top notch. Everyone was super friendly and the wait time for our food was less then 20 minutes.

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

I am not sure if that's normal or something they are still fixing, but my understanding was they were only doing construction on the main dining area. IDK but I will definitely not sit out there again as I didn't even really get to talk to my friend. I liked the nachos I got but the okra was just ok. Could've used some seasoning. The Tiger Bleu Chips my friend ordered were a cool idea. I don't like buffalo sauce nor bleu cheese so I tried some chips and liked them but not the sauces. I loved the chicken on it though. I am not sure if it's the same chicken as the nachos but it didn't taste like it was. Honestly, it would be cool if they had options for the chips like maybe other sauces. Unfortunately, they messed up my husbands burger twice, which is not great. But the burger itself just tasted like nothing, which was worse. Hubby's tater tots were too salty. Never heard of this, all more reason to return! All cooked in an Italian stone deck oven 600° not quite the leopard spotting of neopolitans but it's pretty decent having just tried the Detroit Pepperoni and Deep Dish $22 and $28 Deep Dish Big Apple. Oven rendered crispy lil pepperoni cups and a decent crusty cheese edge on the Detroit, and a puffy pillow crust on the Deep Dish. Latter misses the buttery yellow cornmeal firmness of signature Chicago Deep Dishes though, and the puffy dough does get a little dry and more chewy less crisp as you get to the end of your slice and as time outta the oven ticks on.
