I got to Napa and realized I left the top foam insert home, so that wasn't going to work. Stopped-in and the friendly Stagecoach crew fixed me up in minutes for wayyy less than I was expecting. My buddy bought a half dozen bottles at different wineries and decided last minute he didn't want to bring on the plane, so Stagecoach helped him out with a mailer box, taped it up, and talked through the various shipping options with him. I used Stagecoach for the first time 3 weeks ago. Selected 1 day shipping. UPS didn't provide 1 day but rather 4 day due to several issues on their end. UPS rejected the request for some kind of credit. Stagecoach stepped up and provided a full refund due to the poor service from UPS (their customer service is Awful). I told him what kind of bottle it was and the person that was working, and his counterpart just looked at each other because it was a very expensive bottle. our driver for a few days in napa recommended this place & purchased wine shippers for us....we went back to ship wine home & were completely fleeced imo. told us the only option to ship cold chain was overnight - @ $128/box. Found out from our driver after we left this is absolutely not true. UPS offers ground cold chain shipping for about $70. they would not adjust the shipping method or price even though the wine wouldn't be going anywhere for 2 days. yep, we were visitors, but we are visitors with long memories who can review you on yelp & warn others not to use you. read more

My package, after 8 days, lies in your backroom. I call to get tracking information and was told that it was not a priority due to wine club shipments being more urgent. I was then told that the package would be shipped immediately 3 day air...5 days ago. This is the second time I have shipped wine from here that I purchased in Napa. The process is super simple and they are great. I walked in this past Monday around 9:15 a.m. and a nice gentlemen with a beard helped me and my husband. We had quite a bit of bottles to ship back to San Diego. He told us we could send it by ground and that it would be shipped that afternoon and we would have it by Wednesday. I filled out a shipping label and we were out the door in about 15 mins. I received an email later that evening with the tracking info and the wine showed up on time with no issues. read more

So glad we were recommended to this place over the typical UPS/FedEx/USPS. After a few days of wine drinking and purchasing, we had a case of wine and a couple dozen glasses to get back to Texas. In August. They provided us with a refrigerated train, ice packed, styrofoam boxed tranaportation for our bottles and repackaging and shipment of our glasses for less than $150. read more

The only place to have your wine shipped back home. The guys here are very professional. Cost is around $55 plus insurance. The only downside is they close early on Sat...how are you going to ship your Sat winery purchases? Also are closed on Sunday. I'm a big believer in seeing is believing. While Yelp is very useful, often I like to judge for myself and it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I worked in retail/customer service for many years and get that bad days happen so this is why Im baffled how one company can be so unbelievably horrific. A couple of things that they could "improve"- meaning its bad but nothing compared to the MVP of complaints -When you call the store be prepared to be met with a less than enthusiastic "Stagecoach" followed by silence. Ask your question then wait for your "uhhhhhhh what? um I dunno, wait what?" Little off-putting but hey CA is recreational so I'm not judging. Then, this might be important to some people so I would make note of this, never get your package. Literally... they will say its picked up, nope. Its ready and shipped, nope. Then you get to call and call and call and play tag until you 4 months later you get your wine. Okay now the MVP of complaints goes to Sue Bailey, the owner. wow. When told of the incompetence of her store and their failed attempts to ship our wine Sue, and I'm not kidding here, said "I'm not working a second before 9am and not a second past 4pm." Paraphrasing but yeah. So we told the owner how her business is not fulfilling its end of the bargain and she doesn't want to work more than she has to. Maybe work to begin with? The attitude was unreal with the tone of take it or leave it. Thats if you can even get her on the phone. Trying to talk to anyone who actually knows anything about your account is near to impossible. My husband and I work very closely with some big named vineyards in Napa and the service has been so awful from Stagecoach we are working as we speak to open a shipping company as a competitor to Stagecoach. That is how bad and how sick we are of the absurd service and, even worse, excuses followed by a dash of the worst attitude I have ever encountered. We are actually partnered up with some colleagues in CA (we live in Pittsburgh where a 3rd party shipper is neccessary) to open a shipping business because Stagecoach is that bad. And when we do we will not speak to customers as if they were children who need scolding and most importantly people will get their wine shipped with affordable prices. If you have a few bottles of wine that you need sipped home, then I'm sure Stagecoach is an okay option. Need hundreds of bottles, or more than 3? UPS all day everyday. Stagecoach: Take a hint from Eagle Rock shipping and up your game because you're not going to be the only game in town for long. I have had 2 great experiences with Stagecoach express shipping a total of 8 cases of wine - across county - once in winter, the other in summertime. Both times, Jose Espinal helped walk me through my shipping options and explain the pros and cons. Both times, I found the he had carefully packed not only my wine, but ensured that my descriptions of each of the bottles that I'd printed out was associated with each of the individual bottles. I inquired how much for two bottles of wine to be shipped to Michigan. Estimate given was about $40. The 2 wine bottles to be shipped cost maybe $60. They assured me that it was a service they regularly provide. And I do believe the wine would get there safely. I just would rather, for the cost of shipment, put it in my suitcase! While I was in Napa visiting I had my wine sent back to New Jersey where I live. I have stage coach instructions that it needed to arrive on a Monday, that is my day off from work. When I arrived back home I called UPS to arrange to pick my package up at their facility, due to my work schedule. I spoke to a ups representative and arranged to pick it up, they said it would be there, so I called to confirm and the automated system said it had been sent back to sender. This is my responsibility that I didn't get to it on time, but when I spoke to sue at stage coach, I did not like the way I was being spoken to, I felt as if I was being scolded for not picking the package up and she told me " you weren't responsible in picking up the wine, so now I have to eat the cost of it coming back" that didn't settle right with me! I did start cussing out of anger, but then calmed down and gave her my card number to pay the cost. I did not deserve to be spoken like a child, I am a customer and she could have handled it in a different tone. I will never use this company again . read more

I called stagecoach to get basic info on shipping dates etc for some very expensive wine I was purchasing I had already filled out the online order form and the lady I spoke to (said she was the owner) resorted to rude and aggressive tone over the phone. We tried Stagecoach after the wine shipper we previously used stopped shipping with UPS. They worked with us to find the most economical way to get 18 bottles of wine, two bottles of olive oil, and a selection of cheese safely from Napa to FL, in the middle of the summer. Using UPS Cold Chain, the everything was safely packed and arrived the next day in pristine condition. Will definitely be back! read more

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Sue was so great when I had issues using a different shipping company. They not only picked up my wine from another shipper in town but they also checked my wines for damage (do not use Cartons and Crates - they have no brains over there). Sue also made sure that the weather across the country was decent since I live in NYC. I will use them as my go to wine shipper for now on and their rates were great! Once again, I dropped off a Fedex shipment that did not go out the next day. They told me the driver failed to show up. When I called Fedex to complain, I learned this was not true and they are not an authorized Fedex Drop-off location or Service Site. They are a Fedex shipper, just like my own Fedex account, and must schedule pick ups and pay a fee like any other business, or a driver does not come. I asked the staff again and they still claimed they are an authorized drop off location. However, Fedex said there is no such thing. Only Drop Boxes and Authorized Service Sites have guaranteed pick up and are all listed on the Fedex website. read more

I use Stagecoach for all my shipping, copying, express mail and Mailbox services, they do an excellent job. My packages, express mails or overnights are always handled appropriately and my mail is accurately distributed. One time an express or overnight package got misplaced and the owners Larry and Sue, their employee Jose opened every box that was already sealed to find my item. They worked at this for hours! If you want a business you can trust for your shipping, attention to detail, integrity and first class people, then Stagecoach VIA Larry, Sue and Jose are such an operation. We need small businesses like this and as to the POSTED comment of random closings that is pure BOLOGNA, they post, notify, etc. if they are not going to be open. This is a business run by people who need a day off and holidays to re-charge. Really disappointed in this shipping company. Requested wine to be picked up from winery. I have to give them an A+ on that, but that's where it stops. Wine was picked up and not shipped going now on 10 days. Each time I call Im told it will go out tomorrow and never does. Poor business ethic. Shipped with Buffalo before with a two day turn around and by recommendation of the winery I went against my better judgement. Whew do I regret that. 10 days later still no wine shipped. read more
