First: thanks to the reviewers before me! So glad this place popped up when we were checking out a place to fuel up before heading out for a morning in the area. We walked here from our hotel. Excellent section of fresh food made on site using local ingredients. They offer fun hot and cold coffee drinks along with more traditional fare. They have traditional breakfast sandwiches and some awesome open-faced selections (cream cheese, cracked black paper, tomato... Yum.). They also have baked goods that looked INSANELY good. Lunch foods are served starting around 11 a.m. I didn't see it on the website but they also have some delicious sounding smoothies. I really appreciate that they have a no laptops at tables during busy times rule. They are relegated to the car. Considering how busy they were I can see why they do this and what a great idea. Seriously. Two of us got hot coffee toffees which were coffee with chocolate and caramel flavoring. No whipped cream. Didn't need any sugar (came with milk or cream in it). Our third is a non coffee drinker (don't ask me, I'm just reporting back). They make their bagels fresh on site so my friend Neil got an everything bagel toasted with butter and raved about it. Kris got the veggie burrito and loved it. I got the bacon/egg/cheese on toast. Hands down: best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. Clean space with staff that are efficient, communicate well and keep things moving really quickly (impressive). Really, really awesome. I doubt I'll stray when back in Cooperstown. read more

Good sandwiches and great coffee flavor options! When I'm craving a good cup of coffee, Stagecoach is my go-to! They've got a cute little outdoor sitting area out back, and a nice indoor area with wi-fi capability if you want to escape the office to work for a while. read more

Stagecoach Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Cooperstown, New York

Not many places for coffee around here, so this place gets pretty busy. Coffee was definitely good! For breakfast we got: bagel with cream cheese & tomato and bagel with lox. They were pretty good- I wish the bagels were better but overall a good experience and we would go back! One bad thing: we got a side of scrambled eggs and they were horrible. Tasted like nothing. Complete waste of money. read more

I drink multiple iced coffees a day so I was happy that Cooperstown had a place right in town where I could get my fix while we were visiting. We had a 4 day trip to Cooperstown and we came here three days in a row. If we had found this place on the first day, it would have been all four. As I said, I am obsessed with iced coffee and they have some very good iced coffee. My boyfriend is an iced tea drinker and said it was very good. Some other things we had there were their breakfast sandwiches which were very good. We also had the Knudsen caramels that they have for sale on the counter and the banana bread. The banana bread was good, but no different than most other banana breads. The caramels were excellent, if a little steep at .75/caramel. We bought a lot of them though because they were so good. Now on the last day of vacation I veered from my usual iced coffee and tried the iced toffee coffee. I love toffee and I love coffee, so I figured it had to be good. It was amazing. This is definitely a vacation drink and not something you get all the time because it is literally made with fudge, toffee, coffee, and then topped with whipped cream. Not fudge flavoring, legit fudge pumped into my cup. My boyfriend called the drink "the decadence". They should probably consider adopting the name change. It was sooo good, but something you couldn't drink everyday. All in all, a really nice local coffee shop with great coffee and good food. We really loved all the seating and the outside options and you could tell that a lot of regulars came in as the staff knew a lot of customers by name. This is a place that I would love to have in my hometown. read more

We enjoyed our Chai Tea, iced coffee and Turkey panini. Everything was delicious and great atmosphere.

This is 4 stars by default, by being the only coffee joint in Cooperstown. Yes, you read that right, there's not even a Starbucks. I'm sure it's some municipal code banning chains. Fortunately Stagecoach does coffee pretty decently. They purport to roast their own beans weekly. Plenty of sitting space, it seems to be a meeting spot for the locals on the weekends (because it's been pretty packed whenever I've gone on Saturday). Nice place to get a quality caffeine jolt while reading your book. Free wifi, no password needed. read more

En route to the Baseball Hall of Fame my boyfriend and I were in desperate need of caffeine and a little relaxation to recharge our batteries. I chose Stagecoach due to its close proximity and great reviews. It's a quaint, cozy shop with a friendly vibe. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. They roast their beans right there so it smelled incredible. I initially ordered a Caramel Macchiato however I could get past the first couple sips. It was REALLY sweet. Like, a Frappuccino sweet... Wasn't expecting that. I decided to switch it up and order their houeblend coffee with vanilla. It was pretty watered down and bland. Thus my four star review. If it wasn't for the outstanding people and service I wouldn't have been a fan at all. I think it just might have been an off day. I'd certainly go back and try again. read more

Stopped here for a quick morning coffee. Cute outdoor seating and lots of ordering options. Temperatures inside the cafe was so warm however it was difficult to stay in line to order without needing to step outside for air. Delicious specialty coffee! read more

Best breakfast sandwich around! Love the sausage, egg & cheddar on Heildeberg bread. So very tasty! The coffee, soups, and lunch sandwiches equally as good. Definitely worth a stop in! read more

They open at 6:30! Bonus points (stars) for opening early. I had four large cups of the house blend and it was awesome. They roast their own coffee beans in the back room and it was fun to watch this process. The croissants were heavenly! If you go in after 7:30 there will be a line! read more

Stagecoach Coffee - The coffee roaster made a nice hum which was more like white noise that created a good environment for reading a book and drinking coffee. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Cooperstown, New York

Breakfast sandwiches are super expensive. Coffee are Starbucks like in terms of price. Typical coffee place vibe. A couple of people on their computer, a family, people getting just coffee. Caramel apple cider was very good. Coffee was okay. read more

The coffee is stellar .... and all the baked goods are made there! I recommend the chocolate croissants and the the huge chocolate chips cookies ... although I do love the giant rice crispy treats ! and they make super fresh salads and sandwiches! they also have a coffee milkshake that they make with espresso and coffee ice cream! its A-MAZ-ING ! And I LOVE that the town doesn't allow chain coffee places to move in and swallow up local places like this ! the staff is awesome and they know my coffee drink whenever I walk in ! when you are in cooperstown be sure to check this place out! read more

Stagecoach Coffee is a great spot for a hot cup o' joe in the morning. They have recently renovated the order areas, and it is much more convenient and easier to maneuver in the otherwise very small, quaint spot. The lattes are perfection in a cup (especially the mocha latte - hot and frothy, creamy and just plain delicious!). They do serve food, and it is quite delicious as well. The employees are all pleasant and kind, very knowledgeable and quite friendly! Makes for an all-around wonderful experience. There are plenty of places to go for a coffee in the morning in Cooperstown, but this place is definitely worth it! read more

We got the Unusual. Yum. Loaded with bacon and avocado. Very generous portions. This is by far the best place for coffee and really tasty sandwiches and salads read more

There is a sign on the door that says "masks required." A woman who was not wearing a mask standing in a long line, closer that 6 feet apart, was asked by another customer if she would put on a mask that was provided & she refused. I was very disappointed to see that the staff did not re-enforce their posted sign & served that woman. I quickly left & will not be a patron of their business any longer. read more

Coffee good. Found girls behind counter to be rude and not customer service oriented.

Perfect spot to work on your laptop and get things done while being surrounded by good energy of people and such a cute decor. The food was yummy and the coffee was too! Good variety on the menu and always something new to try. Indoor and outdoor seating and right in the heart of charming Cooperstown so it's easy to walk around after. read more

Thank goodness that Stagecoach Coffee exists in Cooperstown. After our day at the HOF, we were all tired...especially this guy who was in charge of driving back to NYC. After asking a local expert, we trekked over here where I got myself the biggest pumpkin spice latte that they can make. Although they stopped serving food by that time, they still had ice cream for those who didn't want any caffeine. The latte def hit the spot and I did indeed manage to make it back to NYC without a hitch. The ladies at Stagecoach were super helpful esp since the pumpkin latte wasn't even on their menu at the time. I inquired about it because they were having a pumpkin festival a few days away. I think this is the only coffee shop in town so make sure to bookmark this place if you are coming to the HOF. read more

Came here for a breakfast fuel up before our trip back to Boston! It's definitely a local owned, local used coffee shoppe accompanied by the heartwarming friendly kind of staff that probably know everyone's names (except for us foreigners of course). The cappuccino was decent, but this Italiana is kind of picky with her espresso... The bagel concoction was pretty creative, and definitely tasty. Kind of a mess to eat, but definitely the fuel we needed for our drive. Didn't try any of the baked goods but nothing stood out to me. Maybe you guys should add things like chocolate brioche or almond [paste] filled croissant? I know, I know, decadent. Definitely a cute place -- and free wifi if that's your thing! read more

The best place for a cup of coffee I found in Cooperstown. Highly customizable. Lots of options. I didnt eat the food but looked like a great low key breakfast or lunch place. Lots of seating indoor amd out. Even bought grounds to take home. Only loses some points for the couple of flies that were buzzing around inside. read more

Had a Mayan mocha and a caramel Macchiato, both were excellent. Great outdoor courtyard for lounging. They do their own baking but didn't order. Next time. read more

Stagecoach has been the only go-to shop in Cooperstown since I've been coming to Cooperstown as a child. It is amazing! They've improved for years and now have an extensive breakfast sandwich menu. My favorite of all time though is their iced caramel espresso drink. I get a large all the time when I'm up, and sip it slowly while I walk my dog around town! read more

Great (and only?) coffee shop in Cooperstown, NY. The coffee is quite good, the food is healthy and tasty, and they offer free wifi. They have a nice variety of hot and cold drinks, and ample seating both indoors and out. Plus you can get a pound of your favourite coffee ground, or buy whole bean. One thing to note; even though they are open until 9 p.m. they stop serving food at 4 p.m. Since I spend most of my time here working, I'm going to have to take away a star because of the incredibly slow wifi connection. I appreciate the fact that it is free, but it's so slow, it hinders my ability to get some things done. Overall though, this is a great place. read more

Excellent coffee for a very fair price!! Vegans welcome! I had the tofurito which is their vegan breakfast sandwich. It wasn't a typical low effort tofu scramble, this thing had flavor and textures i did not expect from a coffee shop. Highly recommend this item for any person :D read more

The r coffee is beyond!! They have 2 of the best vegan GF desserts, the chocolate meringue and the macaroons r TOO FREAKI ING D ieFOR! awesome friendly service with great healthy options and as many drunk combos as sta rbucks. Great coffee! Ambitious offerings and homey vibe. It's a must stop on a chilly morning in Cooperstown. It's a block or two from the Hall. the entrance is deceptive so don't be discouraged if it seems too small. There's another room that opens up around the corner from where the line ends. it isn't a big space but there's more seating than you suspect upon entering. The red velvet biscotti tasted like it was made the day before and was excellent! Two of the staff didn't know the singular form of biscotti is 'biscotto' which is a minor offense. :) When asked what I had I said I have a 'coffee and a biscotto', they corrected me to say biscotti. No biggie but amusing. read more

Great coffee and the bagel sandwich I got was great.the seating is sparce but a great visit.

We stopped here after visiting the baseball museum. They have an awesome selection of hot and cold coffees, teas, and food. There's plenty of seating (it was busy when we visited) and the line moves quickly. The vibe was relaxed and they are family friendly. Restrooms are clean too! Just a short walk from the museum and from other shops and restaurants. Will stop here again on our next visit to Cooperstown. read more

Stagecoach coffee was cute and the coffee was good. It's definitely old, had some charm to it you know, I just wish they had filled up their flavored coffee beans and maybe displayed them a little bit better because if they had, I would definitely have purchased some. They had a display of unflavored coffee beans with grinders in the back but their jars of flavored beans were nearing the bottom of the jar, I just wasn't sure how fresh they were. They had a nice selection of non-dairy milk including soy, almond and coconut. To be honest their baked goods didn't tempt me, they didn't look too appealing, which was good in the long run but I wouldn't come back here for baked goods. I liked that they had outdoor seating as well as additional seating in the far back of the cafe. My boyfriend got this caramel frappuccino type drink, which he really enjoyed. I stuck with an iced coffee and again was pleased. I would come back here for a cup if I'm in the area, as it's conveniently located in the village. read more

It's fine - good WiFi for working if you can snag a table. Bagel & egg sandwich did the trick (prices are a dollar more than what is listed on their website). But the brewed coffee is incredibly water-y and weak. It looks like they roast their own beans, maybe I got a bad batch but it was no better than gas station brewed coffee. read more

This place is a real find. I live in Oneonta so I have not sampled their breakfasts yet, but I am in Cooperstown for doctor's appointments fairly frequently and I always stop for lunch. They have everything from delicious deli sandwiches to spectacular grilled panini; some of the menu is geared toward vegetarian and vegan tastes but they offer traditional deli meats as well. All ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the food is absolutely delicious. Oh and the coffee. I have issues with caffeine so I can only drink decaf from lunchtime on, so I have tried their house blend decaf and their Colombian Supremo decaf and I have NEVER in my life tasted decaf that I could not tell from regular coffee; it is, in a word, spectacular. Pay a visit to the Stagecoach; it is a real treat. read more

Got a BLT to go, came with a side of chips or banana (your choice.) They were busy at the time I went (around 11:30 am) but had enough staff that we got the food fairly quick. The sandwich was delicious and loved that it was panini pressed, it made the bread nice and crispy. My only concern is that there were a lot of flies behind the counter; But the store was clean aside from that, and the food was worth the wait. read more

Amazing chocolate mocha! My wife loved it and we will definitely come back before we leave this week.

Cute coffeehouse. Breakfast sandwich was average. Wished they had salsa for their breakfast burrito.

The coffee shop was renovated, and added more seating. Ironically, the new seating is next to what appears to be the roaster, which of course, is not soundproofed. The grinders for people buying fresh coffee were moved, but again, still no soundproofing. Place continues to be nice, but routinely it is quieter outside in the street then inside. My girlfriend and I continue to go there, albeit only because Stewarts is a much longer walk away. read more
