I got my car in the day after I called, they did our annual once-over in record time and charged me half of what the dealer used to charge for at least one service... super friendly people, they even have a four-footed service staff member, a sweet pup! They are in a great location for finding things to do while my car is having its "spa" day: I can take my pup for a nice walk or cross the street to get lunch, etc. My EV got great service and I left knowing I won't need to return to the dealer again, where the service was decidedly unfriendly of late. read more

This shop typically charges TWICE AS MUCH as most other places INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP in many cases. They also charge $50-$100 just to top off fluids, which is a courtesy at most shops. It's kind of sad -- they seem to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STUDENTS or folks who may not know better. Feels a bit MONEY HUNGRY ,but they do the work of you have the money to burn. After I spent $700 there, my car ended up breaking down with in the hr. I brought it back, and they told me it was a switch issue -- which is a simple fix, basically taking a pin out and putting it back in. They wanted to charge me another $80 just for that. I'm not saying they were the ones who did it wrong, but charging that much for such a small, non-under-the-hood fix felt excessive. I am glad to rate the service I received at Stadium Automotive. I bought tires on line from The Tire Rack and they gave me a list of shops that they would send the tires to and also showed me the estimated charge to mount and balance them. When the tires were delivered to Stadium Automotive. I received a call and text from Joe Cameron and made an appointment. I brought some zip ties and asked Joe if the mechanic could redo the plastic lower engine guard that was in bad shape and would scrap every time I hit a dip on the road. I have not crawled on my knees to look at the work but they really did a great job. No scrapping anymore. When I paid the bill and left, I was directed to exit though the shop to the rear lot where my car was parked. The shop was very clean and organized. By the way I love my FALKEN SINCERA SN250 A/S. I have never ordered tires online like this before but tirerack.com has the best deals and service! I just got back from a trip to Martinez California and the ride was excellent. The quality of there inspection bottom of the line I'm in an automotive program I found more things wrong on my car than they told me. they did not properly inspect it for 150$ and quoted me 850$ for a thermostat repair, it costs 7$ and I was able to get one part away all that I couldn't do was the throttle body and it took me an hour they also wanted to drain the coo-lent and quoted 300-400$ for that because they charge 178$ an hour and can't multitask on repairs ‍ stay away let the scammers who own this shop run themselves out of customers. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! I took my Jeep in for a clock-spring repair and an alignment, and it was a complete waste of money. They charged around $250 for labor on a failed repair and then had the audacity to charge another labor fee for a half-done alignment--only adjusting the front, leaving the back completely untouched. The paperwork they gave me proves it. On top of that, they charged me for two hours of labor when my car was barely looked at for an hour. When I tried to discuss the unreasonable charges, the woman at the front desk gave me a fake smile and refused to adjust the price. I called the owner, and instead of addressing the issue, he texted me back saying he was on a camping trip and told me to contact someone else entirely unrelated. Unbelievable cowardice and unprofessionalism. This place is a complete scam--overpriced, dishonest, and unwilling to stand by their work. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere reputable. Came for an oil change and oil filter. Didn't know I had a screw in my tire due to my sensor not working which sounds about right. They patched it up. With the bill still not being high at all. They checked everything on my first visit and what could be done later. Courtney even looked up parts for stuff my car needed later on. Cute dog in the waiting room. Free WiFi while you wait. And Courtney has good conversation also if you wanted to talk. She very much on her work game and communication with the mechanics. I wish we lived in Eugene!! This place was great!!! We rolled into town at 8pm and realized that our brakes needed replacing ASAP. I went online and requested an appointment at 7:45 AM the next morning. We were touring he UofO campus, and needed to head up north by 1pm for our next appt. They were so helpful and so accommodating to our schedule. We got our car in and the brakes replaced by 1pm!! The shop is much larger than it appears in the front. It has a very large area with several bays in the back. Nice mechanics and very clean. They were professional, knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. They did inform us that the shocks and struts were getting worn, which we could already feel while driving. I hope my son goes to UofO so that this can become our go-to place. After hearing a noise, I took my car to Stadium Automotive to be checked out and they said that FJ Cruisers make that noise after they have been driven for a while and it was normal and not a sign of impending doom. I took my truck in to get plugs changed and your basic tune up, they gave me a loaner car, then while I was waiting at home they called me and let me know my plugs looked great and I didn't need to change them..most shops would have changed them anyway..they saved me a bunch of money and very helpful. These guys love their Toys and know Hondas inside and out. Knowledgable, trustworthy, friendly and exceedingly competent - what more can you ask of a mechanic. Update: I'm still a fan of the guys, but not of some of the policies. $80/hour to test and assess my car before any work even gets done? Never before have I had to pay upfront for a mechanic to tell me what he thinks is wrong. I'm used to getting an estimate and then having the mechanic call me if the situation changes or isn't what he thought it was. 3 hours @ $80/hr is pretty steep, especially if the mechanic turns out to be wrong about what it was. read more

Just today got our small E350 motorhome out of Stadium Automotive. All I can think is they are fast, fair and friendly. They were honest about what work needed done, and performed it quickly after my approval. You can pull right into their building, kind of like an old carriage house. Not much parking out front, so that works. Maybe we were lucky but we got our a/c fixed, a front end alignment, and fuel pump, filter and sensor replaced in two days. Highly recommended. read more

My daughter goes to college at U of O in Eugene. She just moved off campus and has our old Ford Explorer. She started having some steering problems that seemed to me to be related to low power steering fluid. She went to Stadium Automotive who diagnosed that was the problem and it was due to a leak in the power steering rack. When I called and spoke with Joe, the general manager, we discussed the options. We worked out a plan to do the work in a few weeks when we are visiting her. She needs new tires and the replacing the rack requires an alignment at the same time. Joe took the time to show my daughter where the power steering fluid reservoir is located and showed her how to fill it, if needed, before it gets fixed. He even gave a bottle of fluid! I have used Stadium twice for my Jeep first for a general tune up and it runs better than ever. The second was a follow up after I paid Firestone at Valley River $47.50 to diagnose why the blinkers weren't working and they told me I needed both a turn indicator switch and relay switch at a cost of $432.98. I told them I wanted a second opinion and Stadium diagnosed and repaired for $166.54 since I only needed the turn switch. Tom at the front desk is friendly, takes time to explain what needs to be done, and they are honest in their repairs! Highly recommend. read more

I go to the dealership to get my oil changed because it's included in my car payment. This last time I went they told me I needed a serpentine belt and it would be $226.00 dollars to fix it. There was no way I could pay that. I google led mechanics and came across Stadium Automotive. The pice I was quoted was $135.00 over the phone. I scheduled my appointment online a couple of days later. I was in and out in 25 minutes and it was a couple of dollars less then I was quoted. I just had my car serviced from Joe and the crew and I could not have asked for a better experience. I called around 2:30 and was able to bring my car right in. Joe welcomed me at the check-in desk and was very professional and nice. They called me when my service was done (only an hour later) and when I got there Joe signed me out fast and efficiently along with giving me recommendations for further service for my car. Overall, I think they have A+ service along with reasonable prices (I even got a 5% discount with a 3.0 or higher g.p.a.!). Came in to get my Jeep fixed. They gave me a quote and let me know know what needed to be repaired to fix my coolant leak. Paid around $500 and had to come straight back the next day because they didn't fix the problem and my coolant was still leaking. Looked at it again and charged me another $500 to fix what I originally came in for. In total they were going to charge me around $1000.
