Haven't been in years. What a great memory for me and my wife to be taken back and reminded of a place we have loved for years and years. 6 years living far away and wow great standards still. Service was top notch. Food was excellent and so well flavored. Beautiful decor in the restaurant and patio.

Came on a Friday morning for breakfast, it was pretty crowded but we were seated within 5 minutes, which was nice. What we ordered: Beaters Scramble : scrambled eggs with broccoli, zucchini, onions, celery, mushrooms, and diced tomatoes, served with a dry wheat bagel. This was a great menu opt for me since I wanted to get more veggies in. scramble was well-seasoned and bagel was decent, nothing fancy but a nice pairing. Chicken Fried Steak : Topped with ground pork sausage & mushroom house gravy, plus scallions. Served with eggs & potatoes. The chicken could've been a bit crispier (probably softened from the gravy), but the gravy itself was rich and flavorful with nice bits of mushroom. The potatoes were tasty and not overly greasy. Overall, a solid breakfast spot in burlingame! Portions are generous, service was friendly and quick, and the menu has something for everyone.

I really enjoyed this spot for breakfast. It gave a diner: brunch spot vibe. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They had alcohol with was a plus when craving mimosas. Service was great! Our waitress was very nice.

Have been wanting to check out Stacks for a while but haven't had an opportunity until now and boy, were we impressed! I called ahead on a Thurs to ask how busy they were and if there was wheelchair accessible seating and the staff who answered the phone said they weren't busy at all and tables were available to accommodate us. (I was calling on the road and we were about 5 mins away ;)) Upon arriving, we found lot parking that was adjacent to Stacks and luckily, there were a few disabled spots available. Upon entering the restaurant, my wife and I immediately had 'throwback' feels for this place. The decor and ambiance clearly brought nostalgic vibes for us and really showed us how long the restaurant had been around. Cintia, our server, was also super friendly and helpful; placed us in an area that was easily accessible for my wife's transport chair. We were seated at a very nice section so we could enjoy the atmosphere and decor. The food, in a word, AMAZING!! The omelette and crepe were huge portions and very tasty. Filled with enough ingredients, they should call it the Kitchen Sink LOL. Will definitely visit again, this time with our clan (about 15 ppl). Thank you for having Stacks, Burlingame!!

Good for what it is! It's such an iconic building that greets you into Burlingame when you arrive. The seating and place is so cute! I'm not raving about the food but it did its job for your typical american brunch spot.

I tried the applewood bacon omelette and it was really good with avocado and salsa. I read Stack's cooks with animal fat (beef tallow?) instead of harmful seed oils so that is great. The blueberry waffle is calling me next time.

I tried my sister's huevos rancheros and I definitely regretted my omelet choice after that. The omelet was solid but the huevos had a great flavor. The service was quick but brisk. The decor was super cute and the Christmas touches really added to ambiance. It is a solid brunch spot but didn't feel like anything special.

Great Food! Great service! Gabrielle was wonderful! On top of it. This place was very busy and they didn't slack off on anything. Close to the airport.

On a brisk Monday morning, my partner and I were looking for a quick breakfast while waiting for cere tea to open for the day. We ended up heading over to stacks for a quick bite and it did not disappoint,. It wasn't super busy so we sat down right away and ordered the all meat omelet. After a short wait we got our food from the kitchen and it was delicious.Additionally, the vibe is very vintage and it has a real old school feel. Excellent service and classic food can never go wrong.

Been forever since I've been here - I had forgotten how cute it was in here - and how nice the waitstaff are - and the espresso was good! and the crepes were delicious. Had a nice time with my friend, not interrupted by the waitress, she knew exactly when to come and fill water glasses without asking, she did ask how the food was, and was very pleasant. Gotta' put this place back into the rotation!

We came to Stacks in Burlingame on a packed Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated--such a win when brunch is this popular! The service stood out immediately: attentive, friendly, and never rushed, even though the place was buzzing. Food-wise, everything was spot on. The meat crepe was hearty and flavorful, the crab crepe was rich but not heavy, and the full stack (3) pancakes was the kind you dream about--fluffy, perfectly golden, and big enough to share. I could only eat one! Overall, Stacks delivered the perfect brunch experience: great food, welcoming staff, and efficient service even at peak hours. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Burlingame.

I went to treat myself and when I say absolutely delicious I loved the whole setup along with the kind hospitality. All of my food came out served hot and fresh and to have my syrup already hot and ready was a double plus I had Gabriel as my server and he stay on top of everything allowed me to eat and made sure I wasn't needed anything else. I will surly be back great food and great service

And it's hidden gem-ness, well, that's part of what made our morning so great. I found it because the photos looked amazing and the menu sounded right up my alley, and I'm so glad we gave it a try. We enjoyed breakfast out on the patio while my little nanny buddy happily colored and played in the sunshine (with Simba supervising, of course ). One of our favourite surprises was the view. The patio overlooks the waterfront, and we got to watch planes taking off while we ate. If you have little ones who love airplanes, Gigi's Cafe is gold. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and an iced chai tea latte, and we shared a fresh fruit smoothie. Everything was delicious. And the breakfast sandwich! What a beauty! It came hot and steaming, with fresh avocado, fluffy eggs, and ripe tomato Plus, the drinks were the perfect complement to a warm summer morning As a Bay Area resident for over two decades, moreso one whose career often involves exploring with little ones-- phew I can't tell you enough how much I cherish finding spots to eat that feel relaxed and welcoming. When I arrived around 10:00 p.m., I had to go to the front desk to check in. The lobby was packed with guests because Hilton was experiencing a nationwide system outage. After waiting in line, I was informed that the ocean-view room I had specifically selected and paid for had already been given away. Instead of honoring my reservation or offering a comparable solution, I was simply assigned a different room. To make matters worse, the front desk associate told me they would waive my parking fee as compensation for the inconvenience. Later, I discovered that the parking lot is open to the public because it is connected to the oceanfront trail. There is no gate, no parking attendant, no security monitoring the lot, and guests are not charged to park there in the first place. In other words, they offered me something that was already free, making it feel like they were trying to appease me without providing any real compensation. The nationwide system outage was beyond the hotel's control, and I understand that. However, giving away the room I had already selected and paid for, then misleading me into believing I was receiving meaningful compensation when I wasn't, was extremely disappointing. I expected much better customer service and accountability from Hilton. I will be making sure to tell all my friends and family what type of experience I had!

It has a beautiful foyer, great dining area and the front office staff is pleasant. You can't go wrong with the manager's reception nightly with small snacks and two complementary drinks along with the buffet breakfast each morning However, the first evening we were unlucky finding the managers reception so we went to the bar to get a couple drinks, and the bartender was not the most pleasant. He walked away from us when we offered to pay with cash and just said that we don't take cash here and we finally waited and asked for him to please come back so we could order drinks with a credit card he did so with not most pleasant attitude. Another issue on our first day was paying for an "upgrade" to a room smelling deeply of recreational marijuana, which we do not partake in. We are also traveling with a child. We are given furniture that is worn and tattered a bathroom with no stopper and a lightbulb that wasn't working we called maintenance that day my husband left shortly maintenance arrived pretty swiftly however he had to change the bulb and proceeded to leave his tools and ladder in the restroom. Left the room and didn't say when when he was coming back He did return, he let himself in while my daughter and I were getting ready and changing for the evening. It was quite disarming. I called the front desk to let them know and ask if they speak with the manager, no one followed up with Us quite concerning. I guess the bigger issue is just paying for an upgrade when you feel like it's not even a bare minimum of what your visit should consist of doesn't mean we won't return to an Embassy suites just perhaps not this one.

At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. I would recommend this place to anyone, but just be aware with the vital advice I wrote.

My pork chop dinner included soup or salad, slice of toasted and buttered sourdough, potatoes or rice, vegetables and choice of dessert. All for just under $30 before tip. The meal was as expected for a '60s coffee shop. Salt is the dominant seasoning. The turkey and rice soup was a smart way to use leftover ingredients. The boiled red potatoes were good. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. DH had the cheeseburger with potato salad and praised the meal. He also devoured my dessert--ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, making me want to return. Next time I'll have something like a sandwich or burger.
