Came on a Friday morning for breakfast, it was pretty crowded but we were seated within 5 minutes, which was nice. What we ordered: Beaters Scramble : scrambled eggs with broccoli, zucchini, onions, celery, mushrooms, and diced tomatoes, served with a dry wheat bagel. This was a great menu opt for me since I wanted to get more veggies in. scramble was well-seasoned and bagel was decent, nothing fancy but a nice pairing. Chicken Fried Steak : Topped with ground pork sausage & mushroom house gravy, plus scallions. Served with eggs & potatoes. The chicken could've been a bit crispier (probably softened from the gravy), but the gravy itself was rich and flavorful with nice bits of mushroom. The potatoes were tasty and not overly greasy. Overall, a solid breakfast spot in burlingame! Portions are generous, service was friendly and quick, and the menu has something for everyone.

I really enjoyed this spot for breakfast. It gave a diner: brunch spot vibe. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They had alcohol with was a plus when craving mimosas. Service was great! Our waitress was very nice.

Good for what it is! It's such an iconic building that greets you into Burlingame when you arrive. The seating and place is so cute! I'm not raving about the food but it did its job for your typical american brunch spot.

I tried the applewood bacon omelette and it was really good with avocado and salsa. I read Stack's cooks with animal fat (beef tallow?) instead of harmful seed oils so that is great. The blueberry waffle is calling me next time.

I went to treat myself and when I say absolutely delicious I loved the whole setup along with the kind hospitality. All of my food came out served hot and fresh and to have my syrup already hot and ready was a double plus I had Gabriel as my server and he stay on top of everything allowed me to eat and made sure I wasn't needed anything else. I will surly be back great food and great service

Great Food! Great service! Gabrielle was wonderful! On top of it. This place was very busy and they didn't slack off on anything. Close to the airport.

I tried my sister's huevos rancheros and I definitely regretted my omelet choice after that. The omelet was solid but the huevos had a great flavor. The service was quick but brisk. The decor was super cute and the Christmas touches really added to ambiance. It is a solid brunch spot but didn't feel like anything special.

Great brunch! Stopped here before heading to the airport. Service was top notch. Very friendly and fast. We loved Gabrielle. The OJ was BOMB! Freshly squeezed. So good. Eggs ben was good. Blackston was also just as good. Crepes were perfect.

On a brisk Monday morning, my partner and I were looking for a quick breakfast while waiting for cere tea to open for the day. We ended up heading over to stacks for a quick bite and it did not disappoint,. It wasn't super busy so we sat down right away and ordered the all meat omelet. After a short wait we got our food from the kitchen and it was delicious.Additionally, the vibe is very vintage and it has a real old school feel. Excellent service and classic food can never go wrong.

Been forever since I've been here - I had forgotten how cute it was in here - and how nice the waitstaff are - and the espresso was good! and the crepes were delicious. Had a nice time with my friend, not interrupted by the waitress, she knew exactly when to come and fill water glasses without asking, she did ask how the food was, and was very pleasant. Gotta' put this place back into the rotation!

We came to Stacks in Burlingame on a packed Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated--such a win when brunch is this popular! The service stood out immediately: attentive, friendly, and never rushed, even though the place was buzzing. Food-wise, everything was spot on. The meat crepe was hearty and flavorful, the crab crepe was rich but not heavy, and the full stack (3) pancakes was the kind you dream about--fluffy, perfectly golden, and big enough to share. I could only eat one! Overall, Stacks delivered the perfect brunch experience: great food, welcoming staff, and efficient service even at peak hours. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Burlingame.

This is a very aesthetic cafe that feels like a nice diner to grab brunch at. There is a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes from omelettes, pancakes, crepes and sandwiches. The service was amazing. Servers were attentive and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. I was shocked by how fast they brought them out. The waffles were delicious and topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was fluffy, sweet and satisfied my waffle carvings. I would definitely come back and try the other waffles on the menu. My boyfriend had the mighty meat crepe and loved it although he didn't enjoy the side of potatoes and the bagel. He also ordered coffee and they give you the kettle to refill your cup. He was able to drink two hot cups of coffee. I was interested in the brunch cocktails but didn't order one this time. I'll definitely want to order a drink next time though!

Overall nothing special for this place but the service and ambiance are very nice. Food is flavored ok 3/5 stars but this place is always packed, I don't see the allure, but it is a staple of Burlingame.

We really enjoyed our dishes - carbonara udon, crispy honey chicken Benedict and the ube pancakes. The carbonara udon was on par with the one we had in Japan. Cute and quaint cafe in San Mateo with unique offerings. The thai tea french toast immediately caught my eye because I love thai tea and anything thai flavored in general. While it is presented beautifully, the flavor itself fell flat for me. Thai tea is known to have bold flavor and a strong tea taste. This was really lacking that. My partner got the chicken croffle and he loved it. I tried it and it is definitely something I'd order too! Chicken was nice and crispy and the croffles weren't dry or soggy, but the perfect in between. We liked that it came with both a savory sauce and syrup. I'd definitely return to try other things sometime.

I was honestly shocked walking into the restaurant and seeing that they expanded into the neighboring brick and mortar space. The ambiance was absolutely divine and felt like dining in a beautiful Italian courtyard. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff was incredibly genuine and attentive. Huge credit to the sweet mother to be working the cashier register. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was so kind and caring toward my fiancé and I while we dined there, especially since I'm expecting as well. The runners and hosts were also wonderful. Buttermilk pancake and Milano crepe were fine - both were relatively sizable and tasty. New Orleans benedict was a huge miss. I'm not sure how long my plate was sitting out before it was served, but the English muffin was soggy, the egg was very overcooked/not runny at all, and the hollandaise sauce had developed a noticeable skin. The entire dish was lukewarm at best. Our food came out quickly, so it's obvious Crepevine pre-makes everything and nothing is fresh. As we were leaving, we saw a plate in the kitchen with a giant stack of pre-made crepes on it. Lastly, service was a HUGE disappointment. When we were at the cash register placing our order, the employee NEVER looked at us. Instead, she kept looking around and was very distracted, which is probably why she asked us to repeat ourselves 3 times. Then, in the MIDDLE of our ordering, she turned and started talking to a woman behind us in line. They literally proceeded to have an entire conversation while we were standing there, holding menus in our hand, waiting to finish placing our order. We should have walked out right there. After we sat down, no one ever brought us water. Our food arrived and we still didn't have water, so we had to flag someone down. That person didn't bring anything, so we had to ask another person. Everything - from water to napkins to boxes - needed to be requested multiple times. Not gonna come back again.

The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs.
