    Salmon Miso Bowl
    Jennifer H.

Full team was in town and had breakfasts, lunches, and happy hours booked back to back for a few days. We had one night without anything booked for a lowkey evening. Ended up at Urban Kitchen after Top Golf happy hour golf and bites for something healthier . You order at the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a huge place but they were able to accommodate our group of 9.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had the salmon miso bowl and we also ordered Brussels sprouts to share. It was fresh and hit the spot.

Wonderful experience overall! This grab-and-go restaurant offers fresh protein options and generous portion sizes. The salmon tasted freshly made to order, while the beef, although slightly cold, still tasted like high-quality meat. The vegetables accompanying the dishes were exceptionally fresh! The crisp crunch of the lettuce was especially surprising in the best way. I'M SAYING - how can lettuce taste this good? This meal felt clean, nourishing, and genuinely reinvigorating to eat. The variation of colors of the meal, made me have a big appetite. I loved every bite of it!

The food was excellent, the service is spectacular, and the community is super refreshing so happy I tried this spot!

Went for a late lunch with some friends as some breakfast places were already closed. It's a smaller restaurant where you order at the counter and the servers will serve your entrees. I wanted the Beet and Citrus salad with a side of Grilled Salmon. It's primarily an Arugula salad that comes with 3 thin slices of beets vs. chunks and 3 thin slices of orange segments on the side. The Salmon on the side was nice and tender. My other friend ordered the same salad. Our other friend ordered the Thai Street Prawns which was a big portion in a bowl. Each order comes with a grilled slice of bread with a Pesto Sauce on top which was really delicious and paired nicely with all salads/bowls. Our server was friendly. You can get your utensils by the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice, casual place with healthy options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Brunch is also served on the weekends. Good luck on parking as it was a challenge to find but metered parking is free on Sundays.

Jonathan and Juliana thank you for the hosting of a fabulous meal between my surgeries. With the harmony of the sidewalk and.the scent of your food makes magic all around.

I really wanted to give this a five star rating, I tried really hard, but I'm pushing it to give them a solid four stars tonight. Staff was great, friendly and efficient. The guy at the register didn't know what type of steak is in the steak dish (it's skirt steak). To me, knowing your menu is a basic 101 question at work. I debated between the steak dish and the barbecue blackened chicken and I ended up choosing the chicken. I envisioned a piece of chicken ... a whole piece of chicken. It advertises as gluten free so I didn't ask for it to be made gluten-free. Unfortunately, they put a piece of bread on top of my food without asking me. They did deliver it to my table, at which point I let them know that I had ordered the sweet potato fries and I was allergic to wheat. They did not remake the dish, they simply took the piece of bread off, and gave me some fresh sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, that really messed up the temperature of the food. By the time they brought it back, my chicken was cold, lukewarm at best, yet my sweet potato fries were piping hot and very good! It was unfortunately a mediocre experience. I'm giving extra credit for the guy who came up to answer the " what kind of steak is on the steak dish" question. He was helpful and friendly. Restaurant is 3.5 / 5 clean. The bathroom could really use attention. It needs deep cleaning, nothing that's recent. I don't think I'll be back yet it's a good option for a less expensive meal in the Burlingame area. This is a great, walkable town with lots of options to choose from!

Pretty expensive and food is mediocre. I ordered the shakshuka. I usually love shakshuka and unfortunately it just tasted like tomatoes paste without much savory goodness

Sustainable Grilled Salmon, sub Greek salad
    Lauren P.

While walking down Burlingame Ave, I was craving a healthy-ish meal for dinner. After a quick Yelp search, I found Urban Kitchen. I went with their Sustainable Grilled Salmon entree, and subbed the Urban Salad for their Greek Salad. My gosh, the meal was so delicious! The lemon oregano dressing paired perfectly on top of the crispy-edged piece of salmon. I was genuinely sad when I finished the salmon - it was that good. The super grains looked like a brown rice and quinoa mix, which was savory and chewy. The greek salad came with plenty of kalamata olives, crispy garbanzo beans, and creamy feta. I'll definitely be back for a healthy & flavorful meal.

Charming neighborhood restaurant with a great selection of healthy options. The Steak Sandwich is very good. The Healer Bowl with Blackened Chicken is my favorite, with generous portions and the perfect blend of ingredients. Great value. Very nice staff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and comfortable atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely recommend this place!

I was not the biggest fan but I also came for their brand-new brunch menu which may not have all the kinks ironed out yet so I may come back some other time and try their normal menu for lunch or dinner. We ordered the chicken & waffle, steak & eggs, as well as a salmon eggs benedict. I found all of these to be just OK, except for the chicken in the chicken & waffle which was actively unenjoyable due to being way over-breaded and also being mostly bread and not chicken. The breading also had some weird mochi-like/chewy texture which was not pleasant, so I'd say this was the weakest item we ordered. The hot honey syrup it came with went great with the waffle though. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries, which though very unevenly seasoned appeared to be air-fried due to the lack of oil and were super crispy and tasty when I did get a piece that was salted properly.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice restaurant in heart of Burlingame.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Park let outside with seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Order at the counter. Wide selection of healthy food options many with the choice to add proteins, steak, salmon or tofu. Many drink options including lemonade, sodas, coffee and tea, wine and canned alcoholic drinks. We ordered... Beet and Citrus salad with avocado and steak add ons, light balsamic dressing with beets and citrus slices. Steak a bit over cooked with half avocado added on. Refreshing and delicious combination of sweet and savory flavors Blackened Chicken healer bowl. Hefty portion of chicken, hummus, veggies, brown rice and quinoa. Fresh and satisfying. Big meal! Crispy Chicken & Waffle was a bit disappointing. Nice waffle with spicy syrup. Chicken was stiff and dry. Not recommended Charred Brussels Sprouts was excellent charred flavor with balsamic and cheese dressing. Very nice Sweet Potato fries crispy with soft and tender insides the same time. Not greasy All in all a great meal especially if you want a healthy meal

The hospitality here is top-notch! Friendly, attentive, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back before you've even finished your meal. The food was outstanding. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, which isn't always easy to find, and every bite was packed with flavor. To top it all off, don't skip dessert. The affogato was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Its simple, rich, and absolutely delicious. It's clear that Mehmet takes a lot of pride in both the food and the experience he provides, and it shows in every detail. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Italian food in Burlingame with exceptional service to match, Bistro Arancini is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Always love the option to join the online waitlist ahead of time when reservations aren't available. Favorite dishes of the night were: -Gnocchi Fritto appetizer: Never had fried gnocchi before, had a great puffy texture. Truffle taste in the truffle cream sauce wasn't very strong. -Zucchine e Maiz lasagna: Pesto was a great sauce choice and paired well with the zucchini and corn. -Squid Ink Seafood Pasta (special): Generous seafood portions and the dish was flavorful. -Complimentary focaccia: Fluffy and yummy with olive oil. Other dishes: The Italian Sausage lasagna was fine. I personally love crispy lasagna edges, but some people found it too crisp and too dry. The salad (Insalata di Rucola) wasn't mind blowing, but I'm glad we ordered a veg to cut through the richness and heaviness of three carb-heavy entrees. The restaurant itself is smaller than expected, so I would avoid coming here with large parties. It also felt really hot and stuffy inside, which I anticipate getting worse as summer progresses. The interior is cutely decorated. Service was initially attentive. We did have to flag down our waitress multiple times to order and get the check. This is a must try for their appetizer honestly! I loved its crunch and soft texture with the truffle sauce. Build your own pasta -- I loved how they have this as an option! We were trying to get our protein in by getting Rigatoni, Bolognese, AND meatballs. Super heavy in the best way haha. Lasagna Pollo alla Vodka -- Now this was super heavy, but so delicious. I've never had a lasagna with chicken OR with vodka pasta, it was amazing. New flavors for me for sure, but I do recommend this!

What we ordered: Prosciutto Di Parma Arugula Pizza (+ burrata) = 100000/10 FOOD: 9/10 Served hot, fresh, and made to order, this pizza truly hit the spot. The crust had those delicious wood-fired charred bits and was the perfect thickness, not too thin, not too thick. The only downside was the seating and service. We were placed in a corner at an oddly shaped table that made it a little uncomfortable for everyone to sit.
