The food at Stacked comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. I had the Ole! Omelette and it was one of the most flavorful omelettes I've had. My brother ordered the Ole! skillet which he really enjoyed. You get a good amount of food for the price--we both had leftovers. The staff is friendly and attentive, the place is clean, and the food will not disappoint. The only downside is the tiny waiting area and the wait time. However, don't let that stop you from giving this place a try. Just had breakfast at Stacked. Server was great. Food was great. I am giving it a one star because the take out food containers that were not used were put back with the new containers. The chairs were not disinfected by the busgirl. The unused napkins from the table were returned with the new clean napkins. I tried to tell the owner but he was to busy to address my concern. This is a great addition to the southwest suburbs! This breakfast and lunch spot has pretty delicious food. This restaurant is quite small, though, and the wait was a bit draining. I'm used to quicker table turnover at a breakfast house. However, once we were seated, service was decent and our food came out pretty quick. I ordered the Irish Benny and my husband tried the biscuits and gravy. We also tried out the egg-lemon soup that was on special for the day. The soup was tasty and had the right amount of lemon in it. The Irish Benny was delicious and very filling. The gravy on the biscuits had a good flavor, and it was nice that the chunks of sausage in the gravy were seasoned properly. Prices were a bit more than some other breakfast places you could go to in the area, but with the portions we got it didn't bother me. I would definitely visit this place again. You must be prepared to wait, though, as it seems most people in the area come here for breakfast (especially on the weekends). read more

I really enjoyed my breakfast here, although, be prepared to wait. I have been trying to come here for some time, but the wait is always ridiculous with lines out the door. However, this wasn't off putting to me, but actually made me really excited to try the food because it must be amazing. Finally we went and the wait time was only 20 mins so we waited. The inside is very small which is probably the reason for the wait, especially when there is a table to 8 who takes up two tables. The manager was extremely nice and helpful. However, they sat us at the little table by the condiment stand which was very cramped and busy since waiters were always squeezing by to get condiments. Now to the important part... the food. I got the chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate sauce. I love chocolate chip pancakes and these were very delicious, but were a little sweet. My boyfriend got the Irish eyes skillet, but wasn't too impressed.... but that is what you get when you get a skillet at a restaurant called Staked (so get the pancakes :D). Overall my time was good and the waitress was very nice and attentive, although next time I would ask NOT to be seated next to the condiments. As a brunch fanatic living in the 'burbs who saw a line out the door for this place, I had to visit it. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed with lackluster food. What was good: *Timeliness in service: We never had to wait too long for anything at our table. *Drinks for price: My husband got his usual coffee, which had free refills. And when I ordered tea, I had a wide array of quality choices and a huge pot of water. What was OK: To begin our meal, we started with the hyped-up bowl of chili. It was hearty with plenty of meat and beans. But there was a lot of celery where I instead preferred peppers. Celery is an unusual chili veggie for me, with its fibrous quality. I also wished this chili had some kick to it. The blandness in flavor caused me to pour on all the onions and cheese that came on the side just so that I had some inkling of flavor for my bored taste buds. Lastly, the menu said bread would be on the side, but we got saltines instead. What I didn't care for: My husband and I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict and parfait french toast to split as entrees between the two of us. The crab cake consistency and taste seemed to have that of reheated frozen thin patties. The hollandaise had an odd neon-like color to it. And we had ordered diced red potatoes on the side, not the hash browns. (Although, we originally tried to substitute the potatoes for cottage cheese, which I have done at other similar establishments with a nominal fee, but this restaurant was not willing to compromise on that.) And again, everything seemed unseasoned/bland. The french toast's menu description indicated that the toast would be rolled in granola, which I pictured as a nice thick, crunchy crust on the outside. Instead, the sparse sprinkling of granola seemed like an afterthought. I also would have liked more Greek yogurt and berries on top, considering the large amount of bread on the plate, to balance the dish's proportions more. Final verdict: I would be willing to give this place a second chance for its lunch food. As far as brunch goes, I would rather cook my own meal at home. read more

Ugh, so good. I wish that there was one of these in Atlanta...it would become my standard breakfast place. I have been here twice when visiting family in the area. The first time I had the veggie omelet - oh so good! And the second time I had your standard breakfast - eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. I'm not sure what they put in the scrambled eggs but they are so dang good. I could even eat them without ketchup which is saying a lot because plain eggs typically make me gag. The service is also really good...we had the sweetest server this last time. I wish I got her name because she was just so wonderful. She had blonde hair and was really, really happy. It's just what we needed on a dreary, cold morning after attending a funeral the day before. She was just so sweet and was an excellent server. Oh yeah, if you like Coke they have the best fountain Coke that you can get in the area. Tastes just like the goodness that comes out of every fountain in Atlanta. We heard a lot of rave reviews from friends and family about this place, and after much debating (since I have had the unfortunate luck of getting involved with a family that just doesn't do breakfast, and I clearly do), we finally went. The boyfriend ordered the Ole Skillet (I think thats what its called?) - and the funny part is when she asked him if he wanted toast or pancakes. Basically a meal big enough to feed a third world country. He did mention there was an overload of jalapenos but he can handle it. I ordered the florentine crepes, and oh good God, why do they have to be so good? I don't even live here. We're just visiting. No bueno. I ordered the red diced potatoes as my side and even though my crepes were amazing, the potatoes were super bland. The hollandaise sauce that came with the crepes was luckily a side thing, it was super gross. Those were the downsides. Oh, and the boyfriend thought the syrup was nothing out of the ordinary but that's about it. It seems this place makes a huge POW with its main food, just don't get too excited by the side dishes. Went to breakfast this morning with my best friend this was our first time at stacked. When we got there, there was a 30 minute wait. But let me tell you it was well worth the wait. Our waitress Anna was very attentive and informative. My friend had French toast with eggs and bacon, I had the Irish Benny. We had a variety of food. My aunt order the red velvet pancakes, which I tried and tastes pretty good. I ordered an american cheese and bacon omelette with a side of potatoes and pancakes. The omelette was great. I really didn't care for the potatoes or pancakes. The pancakes were thick and tasted like cake batter to me. The coffee was pretty good. Terrible customer service. Called for a take out order and they told me to call back in 20 minutes. I attempted to call back after 20 minutes and they told me to call back in 30 minutes. I told the lady on the phone i was just told to call back already and she stated they are too busy which i think is a terrible comment to tell a customer who is trying to give your service some business.
